After buying candy from a nearby candy shop in the Island, we walked into Big Rock. Big Rock offered some similar products and fudge. I had just purchased candy, but I couldn't resist the pickle cotton candy and strawberry shortcake soda. The items were too weird to not try. The pickle cotton candy was strange, like sugar coated dill. Prices are reasonable and comparable to similar establishments. The pickle cotton candy was $5.99 and strawberry shortcake soda $4.49. Overall, we had a positive experience here.

Great customer service, super helpful. Answered any questions we had and offered us endless samples. My daughter and I ended up getting some gelato biscotti, and cookies and cream and biscotti. We came back the next day and got the fudge. The dodge was amazing tasted homemade and rich in flavor. Endless candy options as well so there is something for everyone. If I go back this will be the first place I go back to

This is located in pigeon Forge in the big Island that they have there and this is a cool story if you like candy and I live with three women and they all three really love candy so they had a really good time eating it up and all that stuff they enjoyed it and had a cool atmosphere to it the candies a little expensive for my taste but I really don't eat candy that much but the girls really enjoyed it

They had very good strawberry sherbet, my girls loved all the keychains and candies they had. Cute little shop over all

Walking past this store is like heaven! The smells just lure you in. They have so many different types of chocolates, even moonshine chocolate logs. They have several flavors of popcorn, candied nuts, fudge, hand dipped gelato, pre-packaged candies & more! I purchased two bags of the candied almonds, though didn't eat them until I got back to my resort a few hours later & unfortunately they were all mushy for some reason. They had no crunch and were not good. I was very disappointed because I love candied almonds.

We went in twice while staying here at the Margaritaville Island Hotel. Everyone was very friendly but it wasn't as friendly as I was expecting the first time, but the second time was fabulous. Trevor was there the morning we were leaving and he helped me pick out six blocks of chocolate that I wanted and I really did appreciate it. It's very hard to do customer service to begin with, I know this from experience, but to do so early in the morning, with a smile, and genuine friendliness in your voice is just amazing. Thank you Trevor you will go down in my memory as one of the most friendly people I've met while I was on vacation at Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

Large selection of confectioners to choose from. Got myself a turtle and my son a Carmel apple. Both were good and friendly service.

Well beside by an ice cream souvenir dish $12 and get a mini sundae. It was well lighted, and okay on candy choices, it was like $19.98 a pound of candy (self serve) , the staff was not friendly. So over all experience, we keep looking for a candy shop we want to return to in town.

I can get them on the Jelly Belly website for less than half that! The one thing good I have to say is that their pralines are the kind I like most (really buttery tasting and dry/crumbly rather than sticky/chewy). But it was nearly $30 for 6 pralines and one small candy package for my kids. Communication was also difficult as the people there struggled with English and they didn't seem very friendly. We didn't buy any Jelly Bellies and left disappointed. I'm so sad because this used to be our favorite candy place in Pigeon Forge. Also, the prepackaged Jelly Bellies were $6.99 and we found them at the candy shop inside Dollywood for $3.99. Never imagined a shop inside a theme park would be so much cheaper than a standalone shop. It's like they don't want to sell anything.

What a delightful location…read more We visit prior to lunch, and are pleased with ambience, selection, and staffing. Lots to like....

My husband and I visited this location twice while in the Pigeon Forge area: once just to check it…read moreout and the second time to purchase some saltwater taffy for my in-laws. The temperatures were in the high 90's and we were driving. We didn't want to purchase them too early and have them melt in the car during our trip back home. The store is bright, colorful and very inviting. I love the layout and how you can see into the candy kitchen and watch them making taffy onsite. On both visits, we were greeted warmly and offered assistance with anything that we had questions on. I'd seen a video online that showed them offering a moonshine-flavored taffy, but I was unable to find it once in-store. My husband called his mom and walked through every flavored offered, while compiling a bag for purchase. I explored the rest of the store. There was a huge machine full of flavored powder candy (similar to Pixie Stix) and very large tubes that you could fill to your liking. They also offered a wide range of fudge flavors and lots of nostalgic/classic candies. I was drawn to the English toffee (very thick and rich) and I knew that my husband would like the chocolate-dipped twinkies, so we got ourselves those treats as well. They were running a special where if you bought a pound of taffy, you got another pound for free, but we didn't want or need that much taffy. The purchase wasn't as expensive as I expected, because of course everything is billed by weight, and we didn't purchase a lot of candy. I'd return again just for the English toffee. It was like a Heath bar on steroids!

Some attractions sell an experience…read more Some sell a product. The Apple Barn Cider Mill somehow manages to do both. What started as a simple stop turned into one of the more enjoyable experiences of our trip. The star of the visit was our guide, who took us on a cider journey through the various flavors and offerings. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing. She answered questions, explained the differences between the ciders, and made the tasting experience fun instead of feeling like a sales pitch. And since there's a chance she might somehow see this review: Happy 40th Birthday! Sorry I forgot your name, but your hospitality certainly wasn't forgettable. Now let's talk about the cider. Excellent. There was a large variety of flavors available to sample, making it easy to compare styles and find a favorite. Whether you're new to cider or consider yourself a seasoned enthusiast, there's enough variety here to keep things interesting. After sampling our way through the lineup, we wound up purchasing a glass of the original apple cider and enjoyed it outside. And honestly, that's where the experience really came together. Sitting outside with a fresh cider in hand, playing cornhole and Jenga, enjoying the atmosphere, and slowing down for a little while made for a genuinely relaxing afternoon. No rushing. No crowds pushing you along. Just good cider and good company. We also picked up a growler to bring back to the hotel because one thing became very clear during the tasting process: leaving empty-handed would have been a mistake. The Apple Barn Cider Mill does a great job creating an experience that's welcoming, fun, and memorable without feeling overly commercialized. Great cider. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Five stars. And judging by the growler currently waiting back at the hotel, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
