great food and service . The pizzas , Craft beers are my favorites.

It had a big chain restaurant feel to it. Service was fine and fast. The restaurant was clean. However, the food was mediocre at best. The burger I ordered was dry and I would recommend avoiding the coleslaw. I probably won't be coming back.

I was here for a friend's birthday last night. It's very spacious and there is a ton of parking outside, so it's great for groups. Their birthday gift is a giant shareable chocolate cookie with "Happy Birthday" written on it. It was warm and gooey, and very sweet. In terms of food, I had the sweet potato fries (pretty good and filling) and the colossal burger (pretty solid!). Service was fairly slow though, and the waitress was very slow to fill our water. The water also had a ton of ice in it so there wasn't much space for actual water in my glass... I felt thirsty most of the time there. Overall, it's a pretty average place.

I've been meaning to visit here since they opened last spring. Finally, this past Saturday evening, we went. We expected it to be busy, since there was a Red Blacks game on and a Sens game later on, but we were willing to wait. Upon arrival we were told it could be up to half an hour, and we were welcome to sit at the bar and have a beer while we waited. We decided to stand near the entrance. 10 minutes later, our table was ready. We both ordered the Big Rig IPA. Our server warned us that it could be more bitter than the past, but we love IPAs so that was not a problem. We didn't find it really bitter. We both ordered the Classic Burger, with bacon and cheddar. Our meals arrived before I had finished my first beer. The portions were big. If you love fries, you won't be disappointed with the quantity. :) The burgers, fries and coleslaw were all hot and great tasting. Our server was attentive and observant so we didn't have to wait to order our second beers. It was like he could read our minds. When we were ready to leave, he brought us our bill immediately. When we were ready to pay, someone else picked up our bill and payment and thanked us on the behalf of our server. Overall, a very good experience. We will certainly be back.

The beer is good. The food is fine. The service is consistently subpar. You're taking your chances.

The Long Version: I'm not much of a beer drinker, although my husband is. Luckily this microbrewery not only makes beer but they also make seltzer, and I love seltzer! Lol. Their seltzer flavours are limited, so I've tried most of them. I've tried the Berry Whip, Cool Melon and Orange Cream. They occasionally have limited edition flavours and I recently tried the Tiger Fruit one (kiwi and mixed berries). I find that most of their core seltzer flavours are pretty ordinary and not as creative as their beer flavours. Like they have an Earl Grey Marmalade beer and they had a chocolate chip pecan cookie-flavoured beer. I wish they had more creative seltzer flavours. I would totally drink an Earl Grey Marmalade seltzer! Lol. Ironically, my husband does not like what he calls "weird" beer flavours, so he wasn't crazy about the ones my brother gave him for his birthday, lol, but he likes the more "normal" flavours. Oh, I recently tried their newest flavour, Grape Jelly, and this is my favourite flavour so far. The brewery is in an industrial park. They have seating and have a limited food menu, mostly snacks. They have a corner where you can buy cans to-go. Their beers are also available to purchase at the LCBO and their seltzers are available at several retailers like some coffee shops (such as Equator Coffee) and some grocery stores (such as Natural Food Pantry). There is free parking on-site. Review #222 (2025)

Tip: City Seltzer is yummy and sugar-free…read more My review is about the seltzer part of Dominion City Brewing. Its City Seltzer line is awesome. I grew up drinking Original New York Seltzer. The seltzer came in short glass bottles with a colourful label, depending on the flavour that you got. I don't know what happened, but this company died and somehow resurrected itself. I don't see this brand often in my area. In July 2024, I was in Winnipeg at a Giant Tiger. It featured a limited tiger tail flavour in the company's City Seltzer line. Proceeds went to Food Banks Canada. It also had berry whip and city citrus varieties. I bought a can of each flavour. I loved them all. Tiger tail had orange, vanilla, and anise flavours. They worked well. It was my first time having anise in a seltzer. It's too bad that it's no longer available. I'd get it again. The berry whip and citrus seltzers were yummy. The fruit and citrus flavours were nice. They weren't in-your-face strong. They were refreshing and perfect. I was in Steinbach and Winnipeg this past summer. Sadly, no tiger tail or any City Seltzer were available at the Giant Tiger locations that I had visited in either city. A few months ago, I was shopping at my local Whole Foods Market. I stumbled across a City Seltzer display. What?! I saw two flavours that I had never seen before: orange cream and cool melon. I grabbed the former to try. I love anything that tastes like an orange creamsicle. This one was so good. I keep dreaming about it. Whole Foods sells City Seltzers in individual cans and a case. I like trying out the former first before I commit to the latter. At this rate, I'd get a case of each flavour available. I still need to try the cool melon. I'm hoping that it makes me feel like I'm at a spa when I drink it. My friend, Jennifer, let me know that this company is in Ottawa. Note to self: I must visit this store the next time I'm in the city. I'm a fan and I want a t-shirt. All the bubbles. No troubles. True. I love this seltzer! (422)

The wooden tables and decor give it a really nice vibe. The beer and food are ordered separately. The bartender was really nice and gave good insight into their beers and their specials. My wife and I each ordered a pint. The marzen was great, it was nice to have as it is generally hard to find this beer style. I can't recall the other beer we got but it was a bit higher abv, but still had malty flavor. The food was a hit too. We got the pretzel and the schnitzel platter. I was a bit confused by the cranberry, but it worked really well with the meat. It was a pretty large portion, perfect for sharing. We opted for the salad instead of fries, and it was a good choice. Fresh greens and lightly dressed, perfect on a hot day. The schnitzel was well cooked, nice and tender for the most part, though the ends were a bit over cooked and chewy. Mixing the lemon and cranberry on it was delightful, but the schnitzel was quite good on its own. The person cooking was really friendly and made sure we were taken care of.
