These guys work hard! We had to change our moving date on them twice, and Rick just said ok and worked with us. They showed up on time and got right to work. We had a large heavy item, a 750 lb smoker, and they got it moved no problem. I warned them about being on a dirt road, and Rick was the only mover who gave a quote who actually thought about what I said and was smart enough to make sure his truck could get through. Overall, we were happy with this team. We'd recommend them to anyone we know who needs movers. read more

I needed to move from apartment to apartment on a weekday...toward the end of the month. Two men arrived on time and completed the move very efficiently. I would rate them as experienced and dependable. They communicated well and the move was a positive experience at an affordable price. read more

I can not say enough positive things about Rick & Moses. I was a hot mess when they showed up on time. They came in, took over and finished everything. They worked so hard for me today and were absolutely careful with my things. I recommend Ricks moving 100% and even hired them to move some more stuff next week. Thanks so much guys, we highly appreciate your hard work today you two went above & beyond our expectations read more

Came up last minute to help a friend move. She needed to drive to get a uhaul and bring it back for the movers to put all her stuff in. They had to wait a considerable amount of time because she was scrambling to find someone to take her, and she had explained the situation to the lady on the phone. When we both arrived, the primary mover pulled up and said "before we start this job," and jumped into a story about how my friend was being rude to the lady aforementioned. I watched as my friend tried to calmly explain the miscommunication and he jumped and immediately spoke over her trying to prove his point. There was no attempt at trying to understand the discrepancy, just a 0-100 mentality and a big case of a power-trip. Yes, business's reserve the right to refuse service, and upon reading all these reviews we are very thankful that he chose that opportunity. After a one-sided ego-fueled rant by the mover, he took whatever equipment he had and left, loudly proclaiming on the phone that he hopes we "have fun in the rain." Apparently putting on a high-vis vest and some big boy boots really gives a man all that power. I'd highly recommend not having adult-sized toddlers moving your belongings, please look elsewhere. read more

David and Moses arrived on time and knocked it out efficiently and professionally. Highly recommend and if I need help again in the future big ricks is my first choice! read more

I was able to set up everything online without having to call anyone. All of my belongings were handled carefully, even my Target-brand self-assembled furniture that was already not in great shape. Moses and David did a great job. I would use Big Rick's again for my next move. read more

Great price plus quality work. The movers were early to the job, packed efficiently, and kept all of our furniture safe.

We used Big Rick's to pack for two moves. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. First of all Moses and David were able to pack my mother's 16 ft POD with everything she wanted to move. I didn't think there was anyway possible that it would all fit but Moses made it work. He is a true master at packing every inch of a POD! The next day was my turn, this was a more complicated move involving multiple locations. Once again Moses and David, along with Juan and Johnny, were amazing. It took a lot of hard work but they were able to pack all of my things in the space that I had reserved. I would absolutely recommend this team for all of your packing and moving needs. Thanks guys, Cathy read more

I initially went with these guys because they don't charge an unnecessary fuel surcharge... they base it all off what is required in the move. Showed up early, unloaded efficiently and took care of my stuff. All around a solid experience I definitely recommend giving Rick and the team your business read more

Editing my review to add that the owner has been communicative and I did appreciate him reaching out to me to resolve my concerns about an unanticipated charge and the guys being slower than expected. Thx Rick read more

When our previously scheduled movers were a no call no show, Brittany, Dave and Moses really came through absolutely last minute. They were available and came out in about an hour after calling. They handled our stuff with extreme care and they really came through on the unload. 15/10 would hire them again. They were affordable and came through at the last minute. I cannot thank them enough for the stress they saved me by being so accommodating. read more

I had an extreme downsize move today (two bed, two bath with a bunch of stuff in outside storage closet and yard to a quaint (okay, tiny!) one bed, one bath) with more stuff being hauled away than moved to my new place. Moses and David were UNBELIEVABLE!! They showed up early with bells on and kept those bells ringing throughout the entire move. They, by far, are the most respectful, congenial, hardest workers I have EVER encountered in my nearly 40 years of apartment living and many, many moves. As far as price and value, don't even bother with getting quotes from other places -- just go straight to Big Rick's Moving. The price I paid was astonishingly much less than I anticipated even though Brittani, the most awesome, attentive, and detail-oriented office manager ever, fully explained the pricing up front. If you need to hire movers, your search is over. Hire this local company. You will NOT regret it. read more

Just wanted to say that we used Big Ricks a second time to unload our stuff and they didn't disappoint m. Thanks Moses and Rick !

We used Big Ricks moving for a full house move from winterhaven to Tucson country club. We also had to make a stop at storage to pick up extra boxes and furniture. Moses and David, the two movers, were excellent! Very polite, hard working and respectful with our stuff. The two of them did a better job than the 3 guys we used from another moving company 18 months ago. Would highly recommend! read more

I recently moved from my 3 BR (overstuffed) Casita to a house. I asked for estimates from 4 local movers. Big Rick's was most responsive and reasonable. We scheduled the date and Brittany followed up with me a few days before the scheduled day to confirm. On moving day, Moses and crew (David and Juan) showed up ready to work. After a quick run through of what needed moved, they began their process. Unfortunately, I had a jerk of neighbor, who decided to stir the pot as we were attempting to move out. This was a full day move, and this guy was hindering the process. The moving company owner personally came over and 'quelled' the situation so that we could complete this move. This team hustled, yet kept my things protected from any damage. Seven hours later, we were moved! This is by far the smoothest and most professional move I have experienced in Tucson (I have lived here 30 yrs). I highly recommend this moving company - they will get the job done- safely and professionally! Thank you so much Big Rick's (Brittany)! You have renewed my faith in local moving companies! read more

Excellent response time, great communication, reliable, prompt friendly service, would highly recommend!!!

We called Big Rick's to help us move a large, unwieldy armoire into my office. We were injured and risked life and limb last time we tried to move it, so we wanted pros this time. We called about 6 other places and most who said they specialize in in such a task wanted to charge us for two hours worth of work. Others never returned our calls and e-mails. Big Ricks knew the job would be quick and gave us a good rate. Moses and David showed up on time and got the job done quickly without anyone dying or anything being damaged. Thanks. read more

Rick was incredibly responsive right from the start. He answered all my questions, was available short notice and confirmed our appointment the evening before my move. He arrived early and his truck was bigger than the single wide trailer I was moving out of. His team was quick and efficient and got our house moved in 3 hours on a Saturday. They took great care to cover furniture and fragile items and even set up my kids bedrooms. My only regret is that I wasn't as prepared as I should have been. Highly recommend Rick and his team! read more

Moses and David did an amazing job!!!! We used them to load our pod and we didn't think everything would fit but they made it work. They moved quick, handled our belongings with care and were delightful to work with. They were amazing!!!! True professionals!!!! read more

Great communication, hard working and respectful crew, Moses was the Foreman and his crew of David and Ray worked consistently throughout the day to move our belongings. They were consummate professionals and they treated our furniture and property with the utmost care. They took the time to wrap and pad everything masterfully. I wasn't just impressed, I was blown away with how hard they worked. I'm greatful I chose this company. Huge shout out to Big Rick's Moving, they really nailed it! read more

We moved our household belongings from Colorado to Tucson in a 26' U Haul truck and 12' trailer packed to the max. Had everything prearranged with Rick to meet us at a storage unit and confirmed our arrival in Tucson the night before. Rick and his 2 crew members met us at storage a bit before our arranged time. We had rented a 10' x 24' unit with 10' ceiling. Rick did the placements while his two guys unpacked truck & trailer. Phenomenal job of packing and in two hours the unit was packed with a few inches to spare. When time comes to move from storage to a residence, we will use Big Rick's without question! Extremely fair pricing and he and his crew WORK! read more

Preparing to move out of state, with an adult child who has already moved to a different state. Had a need to swap two storage units (10x20 and 10x10) and subsequently move my adult child's belongings from our home down to storage. A big job that we could not do alone. After researching, we settled on Big Rick's to help us out. From initial contact, all the way through until their truck drove off into the distance, the experience was professional, thorough and caring. Moses and Johnny were attentive, careful and wasted no time. It was one of those hot, humid Tucson days and although it took over 4 hours (big job), these two never stopped nor wavered. I was very impressed with the care they took with many of the fragile items that had to be moved. Top notch work, Gentlemen! I would highly recommend these movers and would most definitely use them again, if I had a moving need, big or small. To put a fine point on it, these folks were on-time, careful, caring, professional, and hustled in the heat. They gaveadamn and did so at a very reasonable/competitive price. Not sure why a small number of peeps gave these guys a 1 star, but I suspect they are the kind of folks that can never be pleased (may you receive what you put out there). Our experience was nothing short of stellar and based on my experience and observation of their ethic, I'd highly recommend this company for any moving needs. read more

Rick, Moses, and David were amazing! We have moved many times and they exceeded our expectations! On time, went right to work, and very fairly priced! I would give them more stars if possible - cannot recommend them enough!! You will not be disappointed! read more

Moses and Rick are the best. I've had to relocate many times in my life and have used several different moving services. None of them compare with these guys. Not only did they have everything moved into the new location in less than two hours, they went far above in customer service and initiative. I recommend them to family and friends. You won't find other movers as good as these guys. read more

Rick was very responsive and communicated with me quickly. Unfortunately, due to my move being such short notice and needing it done quickly, his first available was a week out so I went with another company. But if his work is as good as his communication with me, I am sure he would have done a spectacular job. Thanks Rick! read more

I'd like to send a special thank you to Big Rick's Moving for helping move my daughter, a college student, out of her apartment. As a parent, it meant a lot to know she was safe and in good hands. She called me to say, "Mom, these guys were so cool! They would not let me lift a thing!" My daughter gave a tip after watching them move furniture and boxes from the 3rd floor by stairs. Great customer service and reliable people are a rarity. I'm referring and I'll be back! Thank you, Rick! read more
