I ordered a bathroom sink faucet replacement through Amazon Home Service, 8 days prior to the…read moreinstallation date. Warnerimp was then booked as the service provider. Today, Warnerimp emailed me 2-1/2 hrs. before the scheduled time of installation asking for product information. However, I did not see the email until during the window of time for installation. I responded immediately with the product name & installation guide (with 1 hr. & 20 min. left in the installation window), only to receive a response that they needed to reschedule & asked for alternative dates. I told them I was cancelling the order, and that I did not appreciate finding out they needed to reschedule during the time they should be installing the faucet. Warnerimp responded basically blaming me for not responding early enough - that they had written earlier today & that I didn't write back until the time of installation. I told them they shouldn't wait until the day of installation to email a client requesting information needed to do their job. Not to mention that this had been on their books for over a week, AND they had my phone #, which is generally a much better way to reach someone if you really want to get something worked out quickly, rather than hiding behind an email sent on a Saturday morning. Also, shouldn't a company such as this understand which tools are generally needed to replace a sink faucet?? Honestly, I think they just didn't want to work today. To me, this demonstrates unprofessional, petty behavior, & I will not consider them for my household needs in the future. Too bad, because I just bought a home & I would love to find a professional company with good customer service.

Johnson Drywall removed my stippled ceiling and repainted the walls at my house in the Atlanta suburbs. The very first time I called them, David Johnson personally answered the phone; this was already impressive because other contractors wouldn't even call me back. Because it was a huge job spanning multiple rooms across the entire house, he originally estimated the job would take 2-3 weeks; the job ended up taking only 1 week to complete! David Johnson brought in more workers and even had them work on the weekend to complete the job sooner, which I was very happy about. David Johnson was very easy to reach via phone or text, and provided a detailed estimate via email before we started any work. He worked with me to keep costs down and very generously did not charge me for some more minor aspects of the work. Also, while he's located in Cobb County which is an hour away from me (I'm in a closer Atlanta suburb), he met me at my house to create the estimate just a few days after our initial phone call. I'm so happy with the final product; our ceiling looks smooth and beautiful, and the walls look great too! I strongly recommend Johnson Drywall if you have any ceiling or walls work needed in the Atlanta area.

At first, I assumed it was one of my daughters transforming her dinner into a projectile, but it turned out to be something much more concerning--a leaking skylight. I called my friend that had recently told me how happy he was with some work he had done at his house on a water damaged bedroom. He recommended Intown Craftsman and I called them that very night. I received a response the next morning, a phone call from Russ Melton. He assured me a member of the team would arrive soon with an estimate and even invited me to call him personally if I didn't hear from the team soon. There was no need, I received an email and a call later that day. Russ showed up the next day and provided an estimate for the project. While I had him there, I showed him some other issues with the house that had been on my "to-fix list" and he provided an estimate for those projects as well. The cost was exactly what I expected, and I gave him the go ahead to schedule workers ASAP. They came within a few days, even though it was all happening around the Thanksgiving holiday. Jose and another roofer (sorry, I didn't catch his name) showed up early for the appointment but waited out front until the appointed time. They were courteous, kind (even to my very excited dog), and had the problem fixed in no time. They even installed additional flashing to the second skylight (which hadn't yet started leaking) just as a precaution, free of charge. The office staff were just as kind and professional as the roofers. I worked with Deb Burris who helped me with billing and scheduling. The interface for billing was simple, the contracts and estimates were clear and easy to understand, and she was very knowledgeable and responsive over texts, emails and calls. I will certainly be calling them again soon for those other household projects. I recommend using them if you have any home improvement or repair needs.

They were also the most expensive out of three companies considered. In response to Intown's reply: We did pay $600 more to fix the hidden trim work. We didn't feel it was right to pay an additional $1,000 for that and other items addressed in the estimate. As for changing the scope of the project, the recommended paint did not perform as described by Intown. We could not see our way clear to pay an additional $1,400 on a $14,000 job. We used to be one of those 1,400 satisfied customers. Sorry we could not work this out.
