I was looking to have hardwood floors (previously purchased at a flooring warehouse) installed in my home along with a few heavy lifting projects around my house (door replacements, light fixtures, drywall repair). I had been getting estimates for weeks and received a variety of answers from "we can't use this material, you have to buy from us or we can't install" to "your drywall just needs a good scrape and paint, it should be fine" (which was not true since it had giant bits of TAR on it from a mirror and some pretty extensive dings in the drywall underneath). In comes Home-Aid Home Repair to the rescue. Mike came over within 2 days of me emailing him and gave me a written estimate the next day - which was also a holiday. Color me impressed! Price-wise, he was less than some of the other estimates I'd received and he also took the time to explain to me why certain things were possible with my materials and exactly what he was going to need to purchase to complete the project. I knew that I wanted to work with someone I trusted and who would "keep it real" with me throughout the process and he was all that and more. I confirmed him to work on my place right away. He and his crew showed up the following Monday on time (they even called in advance to say they were on their way) and they worked for 3 days to give my place a total facelift. They were up front about my displacement (they had to re-pour concrete which meant my dog and I had to find alternative housing, which was no big deal since they told me in advance) and also walked me through the whole process of what they were planning to do and how, along with the materials they were planning on using. I visited the site every day (not because I was checking in, but because I ran out of clothes/forgot things at my house) and they were working away every time! They were always exceedingly cordial and always called me "Miss" when I would arrive at my house. In the end, it ended up taking them 3 days to complete the job when he initially predicted it would take 4. The floors looked beautiful and he and his crew put everything back where it belonged as well as cleaned up after the construction mess. He also provided copies of the receipts for everything he purchased (no upcharging on materials!) By the end of the third day and they'd left, I just sat in my condo in total awe of the work that they'd done and how amazing my place looked. All-in-all, Mike and his crew are the diamond standard of home renovations and once my list of things to work on builds up a bit more, I have no hesitation in hiring him again for all of my home repair needs.

I was very pleased with the work both times. This review is going to focus on the most recent work. 1) they responded immediately to my call and came onsite for quote within 48 hours 2) their estimates were communicated by email and were detailed and clear. I did have questions about the estimates and we resolved them before proceeding 3) they show up when they say they will. This is huge!! 4) they were straightforward with what they didn't do. The example is I was considering an epoxy floor which is a speciality. They said up front they didn't do it versus trying to wing it. (BTW They helped me come up with a great alternative). I could not be more happy with their services and highly recommend them.

The remodel included a heated floor system, that all documentation said was to be connected to 120 volt circuit. Unfortunately, their electrical team installed it on a 220 volt circuit. We didn't find this out until a few years later when the thermostat failed, and a manufacturers rep diagnosed the problem. Fortunately only the thermostat failed although according to the manufacturer the floor elements could have also failed do to the over voltage situation. When DB Atlanta was first notified they indicated they would be willing to work with us to correct the problem, but eventually refused to return our phone calls, refused to answer a complaint filed with the BBB, and refused to respond to a letter from our attorney. We have more projects in future but would never again use DB Atlanta, nor could we recommend them.

When they reach out to you, they send emails from Pinnacle Home Repairs, but Contract then states Everstrong Construction, But they are listed on Yelp as BuildRight Construction. I am so disappointed in this experience, because I worked so hard to save up the money to complete this project of installing a Patio and pool wrap around on my house. I met with Kabren at 859 Spring Street Atlanta Ga. on December 9th 2025 and gave him a depost of 50% of the money in which he requested to take my project. I paid with a certified check from my bank. Kabren deposited the check into his BOA checking account, and when the check cleared, he started ordering supplies. When the supplies arrived he sent his team over to start the project, and requested payment for the work that was done. In which his contract states 50% down to get started and the final payment once job was completed. His team came to my home and worked two days and I haven't been able to get him to complete this project. i call and try to communicate with Mr. Kabren and he doesn't answer or return calls. He offers you a great price to take on your project and gets your money and you loose all contact with him and his assistant. They block your number or don't answer your call. If your looking to utilize this company please rethink it and run fast as you can to a legit company. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered.
