The staff is amazing here and so nice. Ive used their services four times in the last year. Only once did we have an issue with an ECV scooter. Theyve been able to assist in getting a 2nd scooter in hours to me- not even next day! Only downside? Most of the ECVs we have rented were quite worn-however this pas trip I got a brand-new scooter- the delivery person actually took the tags off in front of me. Hello. I have rented from Big Orange Mobility multiple times during the year for the past couple of years. Whenever I had a problem, it was addressed immediately and taken care of quickly. I rented a scooter from Thu 11/14/2024 - Mon 11/18/2024 for my trip to WDW. It was the worst experience I have received from Big Orange Mobility or any other scooter service. The scooter shut off while going up the ramp in Space Mountain. If you know the ramps at Space Mountain, you can understand how difficult it was for my daughter, who has arthritis in her hands, to push this machine up the ramp. After the ride I called the Big Orange Mobility. I was told by Nathalie Durand, that the scooter was a new scooter and that when going up a hill, it sometimes will shut down. Really, a "new scooter" that will shut down going up a ramp!! I was insulted that she would believe I was uneducated enough to swallow this bogus excuse. I was then told to push a button located on the battery to restart it. We had to do that in excess of five times while leaving this ride to get it to maneuver up the ramps. It's very inconvenient. It stopped abruptly, causing everyone behind me to run into each other. The battery drained so much after a full charge. I called around 4pm that same day and was told there was not another scooter available. I was met with the confused Nathalie, who stated it was a new scooter, and she could not understand why this was happening. The scooter mimicked the same problem the following day when going up the ramp for the Flight of Passage ride. Thankfully it was a short trip. I knew I would NEVER use Big Orange Mobility again. I don't know if they are under new management, but I have never spoken with Nathalie in my previous rentals. The previous individuals would have handled the situation quickly and would not have insulted my intelligence with such nonsense excuses. Admit your product is defective, take ownership, and make it right!! Big Orange Mobility failed to do this. I took pictures and a video of the scooter. It was scratched and used, and it was unreal. We were tired of paying Disney $50 a day for a scooter in the parks. We called Big Orange in the middle of Hollywood Studios for a rental to be delivered less than 4 hours later. The scooter was completely fine. The battery suffered a bit in extreme cold conditions, but my wife could go all day without the battery dying. We changed our pickup time on the last day, and Big Orange was accommodating. We saved half on what Disney wanted for a scooter rental. Very happy with this company. read more

Kerri and the entire staff are amazing! I highly recommend utilizing them for all your mobility needs. They went out of their way to deliver outside their normal delivery range to a VRBO hours outside of Orlando. Because of their help the entire family was able to attend a wedding. Most Vrbo entrances are not handicap friendly. I recommend all VRBO owners and vacation manager in the Orlando area add them to their listings. Thank you Big Orange Mobility for making this possible. Loved using the scooter. Would never be able to keep up in theme parks without and the scooter I had was running around all day and the battery kept a full charge for all but maybe the last hour of our days and only down by one light indicator!! Handled well, easy to use. Billy was the nicest guy and cheerful and helpful. We had a phone issue and he and the office handled that very well! I went to Orlando on vacation and rented a scooter from sun mobility rentals. They were basically a scam artist that just rips you off.. It left me stuck in universal studios with no way to get around. I called big orange explained my problem and had a new scooter delivered to me in person 2 hours later. The tech who delivered it was amazing and smiling with a company shirt and a help you attitude. This company can be trusted from product to support. Looking for a scooter for our upcoming trip to WDW. Originally booked with Yellow Scooters (Big Mistake - long story... After reading their other reviews - I felt it was better to lose $25 which is the cancellation fee then deal with anything while at the park). Anyway... I called a few other companies and they either didn't have a scooter size we needed or couldn't do the drop off/pick up times. I called Big Orange Mobility and WOW!! Excellent customer service from the start. I told her what we needed and she gave me her suggestions. Then came the part about drop off and pick up. We have to meet them at our hotel (Disney Property) but they were willing to work with our schedule. We arrive Friday night but need the scooter first thing Saturday morning. I told her that we didn't have a window because we already had breakfast reservations in the park and needed to allow time so she arranged for the scooter to be dropped off at 730am. The driver will call us about 7am to let us know he's on his way. We should be ready to go by 745am which should be plenty of time to get to MK for 9am breakfast. When we are done they will pick up the scooter but we have breakfast at 8am. So we had to meet them early or possibly the night before. The agent recommended that they pick it up at 10am after breakfast so we didn't have to rush and there is no extra charge. Other places wanted to charge an extra day for 30 min. Big Orange is not charging a penny for 2 1/2 hours. Now to me that's customer service. Highly recommend them just from this conversation and reading the reviews I feel confident that the rental will go smoothly. I'll post an update when we return after Thanksgiving. read more

My wife and I ordered a power scooter for a week at Disney. It was delivered late in the evening on Sunday. On Monday morning we got the scooter out of the back of our van. I put the key in it to turn it on and the key broke off in the ignition. I called big orange and they basically told me they couldn't do anything about it right then, but they would call me back later to come pick it up. Later turned out to be at about 5ish that evening while my family was deep in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. So we agreed to wait until the next day for them to pick it up. The delivery driver was great, and told us that it should be no problem getting a refund processed because it was a faulty machine....that was 2 weeks ago now. We have tried calling several times with no luck getting a refund even though it was their machine that didn't work right. Do not use Big Orange Mobility. read more

Do not use this company. We rented two scooters to use at Universal Studios. The delivery was on time, but their scooters are junk. One quit before we got to the Transformer ride. We had to wait an hour and a half to get another one. That one lasted a little longer but died as the park was closing and we were in Hogsmeade. Threatened by the company with responsibility of this dead scooter, we had to drag it out of the park and get it on the shuttle back to our hotel. They then tried to blame it on our weight. We rented online and the weight was never mentioned. They also never mentioned a refund. My bad back was not helped by the scooter, only made worse by having to drag it out. Service is awful and scooters are worse. The scooter even though showed fully charged didn't even last 2 hours. Tried calling the customer service number and no one ever returned my call. Sent them an email from their website, never got a response. Charged it for an hour at the park and couldn't even make it back to the car. Bought special Halloween tickets at MK and the scooter ruined the whole night. It was like taking $300 and throwing it away. read more

I ordered a scooter for my grandma to ride at both Disney and Universal Studios. The scooter was great! We got the canvas attachment and cooler and would highly recommend it. She was shaded all day and our whole family had access to water all day! It saves you so much money! The customer service was fantastic! The scooter fit perfectly into our mini van and would fit into any trunk! The tips we received were very helpful! My family and I travelled from the Milwaukee area to visit Orlando. I needed to rent a scooter to spend four days at the Disney parks. I rented a Titan Executive scooter from Big Orange Mobility for four days in March of 2017. I did a bunch of research on the internet and narrowed it down to Big Orange Mobility and I'm glad I did. They offered to deliver the scooter late in the afternoon on the day before we needed the scooter and pick the scooter up the morning after our forth day. No extra charge for that service which allowed us to get an early start to Disney on our first rental day and allowed us to stay late at Animal Kingdom on our last rental day. Oh, and delivery and pick-up at our rental villa was free as well! If that's not enough of a recommendation, let me add this. On arriving at Animal Kingdom on our last rental day, we assembled our rental scooter and realized that we did not have the key for the scooter. We looked everywhere with no luck. I had to call the Big Orange office and ask for help. They immediately made me feel OK about the lost key and told me that one of their drivers would call me right back. Literally two minutes later the driver called, asked where we were and when I told him we were in the ADA parking lot at Animal Kingdom he told me he would be at our location with a replacement key in 15 minutes. Well, 10 minutes later he pulls up, provides the replacement key and waits to make sure it works. It did. He was incredibly polite and said we should not worry about the lost key and to go into the park and have a great day! With that, he was off. That my friends is pretty incredible customer service.
