I am about 140 lbs below the limit so this ecv should handle me fine, but the one waiting for me at Shades of Green was so squeaky and loud it was giving me a headache. Called and customer service was very nice and sent someone right away. The gentlemen came with a new scooter within an hour, and everyone was so pleasant I wish I could leave a good review, but I can't. I showed the employee what was going on and how noisy the first one was, and he literally said to me that "A lot of them do that." I rent a scooter every time I come to Walt Disney World, and I come every other month. Never have I had one make any noises like this. I told him I would be returning the second scooter if it made noise too, but when I drove it I had no issues. Until I rounded the corner and of course, squeaky loud noises coming from the left rear wheel drive area (the first one has same issue but coming from rear right area) The scooter itself has seen better days and chunks are cut out of the wheels, I'm not sure what the issue is exactly , but I just finished driving 13 hours and I'm too exhausted to do anything other than drive this thing for the next few days. Stores do a poor job of making sure their battery cells are still good. I just got back from Disney World. My wife rented me a Victory 10 3 wheel scooter from GMS. The battery meter has 2 red lines, 3 orange lines, and 5 green lines. During the seven days we were there, I never used more than two green lines. Six nights I only used 1 green line. I am extremely impressed with the Victory 10 3-wheel mobility scooter I got from GMS. Other places may not do as good of maintenance to make sure their battery cells hold capacity. I'm confident GMS tests those regularly. The drop off and pick up service was easy, the person was very nice. I cannot speak on price because my wife is the one that rented the scooter. But you can be confident that the battery will hold if you get it from GMS. We will use them again.

He was prompt, courteous and in a minute he instructed me on how to disassemble the scooter. I was very pleased with that, it was became very helpful later on. Now, this are not new scooters, there's a crack here and there, it could have better maintenance but the services compensates the cosmetic parts. Overall, I was happy to have a scooter on a holiday weekend and on a short notice. The scooter itself was easy to disassemble and it fit in my car's trunk. Yes, it is a little tricky and a little heavy, but ITS AN ELECTRIC SCOOTER, it's expected. The battery lasts for about three full "working" hours. It will depend on the weight of the person, speed and going on hills (there's plenty of them at Epcot). Make sure you turn it off every time you stop and remove the keys. I suggest you keep your eyes open and try to connect it and charge whenever you can, i.e. when you're getting on a ride, eating or resting. You'll find outlets around the parks, looks by light poles, behind doors, or eateries. Usually employees are not helpful, just do your magic lol

With full charge we were able to use it throughout Disney Magic Kingdom park without the need to plug in and charge. It easily fit into our boot (SUV) as well. Fortunately Orlando Medical Supply had them listed online. They have a decent selection of strollers- we happened to choose the Special Tomato Push Chair which was very clean, and worked perfectly for our needs. I was able to order everything online including filling out the rental agreements and the company called me to verify when I missed checking a box. Their customer service is very pleasant, they respond very quickly to emails as well. They deliver the unit to a resort if you are staying, so we had our stroller delivered to Fort Wilderness. The company texted the day before to verify the time we scheduled the pickup. I adjusted it back an hour as we had to add an extra hour as we seemed to be running slower with everything we did. That wasn't an issue and I met with the delivery driver the next night at the scheduled time. The driver calls 10 minutes before scheduled to verify the meeting time/place. He took the time to show me how the stroller worked and the quirks about the stroller (front wheels sometimes lock and the unit spins). Pickup was just as streamlined as the dropoff. I rented a scooter from Thu 11/14/2024 - Mon 11/18/2024 for my trip to WDW. It was the worst experience I have received from Big Orange Mobility or any other scooter service. The scooter shut off while going up the ramp in Space Mountain. If you know the ramps at Space Mountain, you can understand how difficult it was for my daughter, who has arthritis in her hands, to push this machine up the ramp. After the ride I called the Big Orange Mobility. I was told by Nathalie Durand, that the scooter was a new scooter and that when going up a hill, it sometimes will shut down. Really, a "new scooter" that will shut down going up a ramp!! I was insulted that she would believe I was uneducated enough to swallow this bogus excuse. I was then told to push a button located on the battery to restart it. We had to do that in excess of five times while leaving this ride to get it to maneuver up the ramps. It's very inconvenient. It stopped abruptly, causing everyone behind me to run into each other. The battery drained so much after a full charge. I called around 4pm that same day and was told there was not another scooter available. I was met with the confused Nathalie, who stated it was a new scooter, and she could not understand why this was happening. The scooter mimicked the same problem the following day when going up the ramp for the Flight of Passage ride. Thankfully it was a short trip. I knew I would NEVER use Big Orange Mobility again. I don't know if they are under new management, but I have never spoken with Nathalie in my previous rentals. The previous individuals would have handled the situation quickly and would not have insulted my intelligence with such nonsense excuses.
