One day before we are to arrive (Dec. 24th) and receive (Dec. 25th) the scooter I get an email saying my order was cancelled and refunded due to availability. Terrible Customer Service - Avoid This Company If I could give zero stars, I would. I rented a Hoyer Lift, only to find it completely unsuitable--it lacked the necessary height for safe and effective use, making it useless for anyone. Instead of proper assistance, I was met with excuses. Requesting a refund turned into a nightmare. I was given vague reasons for delays, including COVID--still being used as an excuse in 2025. After more than a month and multiple follow-ups, I finally received my refund, but only after persistent effort on my part. Their communication was defensive and unprofessional, with personal matters repeatedly cited as a reason for poor service. A legitimate business should have proper processes in place, but this company clearly does not. If anything goes wrong with your rental, expect long delays and a complete lack of accountability. Avoid at all costs. They also decided to remove the hoist I received from their inventory so there was clearly a problem with it! read more

I searched for a rental company for a scooter in Disney World and I came across Florida Mobility. Michele, who was originally from NJ helped me so much and she was right on target. My scooter was at my hotel when I arrived and it was exactly the size I needed as per Michele. I used it every day in Disney, and it never lost its power. I only charged it once during our stay and it was wonderful. My only suggestion to other clients is to take the arms off if you don't need them. It was so much easier to get around especially when eating at a grab and go place. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and I would HIGHLY recommend Florida Mobility for all your mobility needs. read more

We had planned a Disney trip last year and was diagnosed with cancer in July and started treatments before the trip. I didn't plan on going as I was just going to done with treatments at the time of our trip. We paid a lot of money so I gave it a shot once I knew the parks had scooter rentals. Well the first day we rented at the park and someone stole my scooter half way they the day. All the scooters use the same keys in the park. Was really pissed off. The next day they sold out before I got to the park. I tried to walk but I was tired after 30 min. We call almost every scooter rental around and found this place. They was not the cheapest but what sold us on the place was customer service and the Michelle. She was very friendly and helpful. If we knew about this service I would have rented it from day one. They will drop it off and pick it for you. We had a truck so we picked it up in a hurry to get to the park and was able to get it to and from our air b&b. They pick it up from the air b&b. It was a really great scooter. It lasted all day with no problems and had a sun shade. Will recommend this place to everyone that goes to Disney. Really look into it. Well worth it. She was absolutely rude, unhelpful, and could not understand when I explained that the power charger that goes into wall outlet only had two prongs and was not charging the scooter. She said that this is her job and was trained. I beg to differ, since she could not grasp what I was telling her. I was a repeat customer, and was treated VERY UNPRFESIONALY... if her vast training and knowledge about scooter power battery was so impressive, she should know when someone says the battery charger does not work, that maybe they tried the other one they have from the 2nd scooter they have. this is not rocket science to figure out that it does NOT work. I've rented from here twice now, an love their service. I'm not sure if it's normal procedure, but they delivered to my house in Hunters Creek. Then spent time in my garage showing me all the controls, then watched as I rode it around the driveway. They use a GoGo sport, which worked great as I'm a big guy, but still broke down for travel in my VW Beetle. It arrived both times with a full charge too For rhe return, again they picked it up from my home with a smile. I rented a scooter for my recent Disney trip. I was able to book the scooter online very easily and the the online attendant was very friendly and helpful. We picked up the scooter at their warehouse. It was difficult to find, but once we did, the woman working there was very helpful and showed us how to use the scooter. The scooter itself was great. It was a portable one that can be taken apart to store in the car. I was at the higher range of the weight capacity, but the better life was still really good. I was able to find places at the parks to plug in if I was feeling like it was getting low. A very nice gentleman picked it up from us. This is long but worth the read because there is a twist! In a nutshell, FMS has great customer service until something goes wrong. This is when you discover they are neither trustworthy nor honorable. Back in May, I had a scooter die on me completely at Disney Hollywood Studios, Galaxy's Edge, located at the back of the park. This was frustrating because the LED 'idiot light' meter showed 75% power remaining. (As an aside I have since found out from a dealer that the LED meter is extremely unreliable and can easily be replaced with an $8 digital meter showing actual battery power). This day happened to be the only day I failed to bring my charger, which FMS strongly advises their customers to do. Nevertheless, here we were, stranded in the back of the park. We quickly found out we were on our own. We also discovered how difficult it is to push the hunk of weight that is a Victory scooter with an auto-engaging safety brake. Disney couldn't help due to liability reasons, and FMS wasn't allowed in the park to bring us another scooter, but they could meet us at the curb...during business hours only! By the time we made it to the front of the park, FMS was closed. We now had to get this unit to the bus, on the bus, off the bus, through Disney Springs, and to our hotel. All this took a little over two hours and we covered a tad bit over a mile. The next day I called FMS and relayed this experience to Samantha, or Sam as she is known. She listened patiently for 30 minutes and was very sympathetic. At the conclusion of our conversation, she didn't offer any type of remuneration. What she DID do is ASSURE me of a significant discount the next time I was in Orlando. I was so impressed with the way she dealt with me that I sent a pretty awesome email praising her customer service experience. Fast forward five months. We had planned another trip to Orlando so I called Sam. I reminded her who I was by summarizing our lengthy phone conversation just 5 months earlier. She seemed to not know who I was and needed to refer to the email I sent to FMS on her behalf. I was, however, thrown off by the chill I experienced from a lady who previously seemed so genuine. I gave her our dates for December. She computed the cost of a regular/basic/level 1 scooter (I don't know what a regular scooter is), then told me she was giving me a free upgrade. I am a loyal customer. If you take care of me, I will be your customer for life. if you mess up my food order, but replace the food and take the meal off my bill, I will eat with you for a long time. If you do a crappy job cleaning my car, but refund me 50% and re-clean my car, then you will always be cleaning my car. I am loyal because those businesses have shown I can trust they will stand by their service. On the other hand, if you are a scooter company that assures a frustrated and disappointed customer a significant discount for future patronage, then you would be wise to stand by that assurance. As it turns out the choice to not offer a remuneration works well in FMS's favor, as does the assurance of a significant discount. No remuneration allows them to keep their money and empty assurance of a significant discount is not an assurance they will likely have to honor. Florida Mobility is a great company to deal with...until you have a problem, then they become nasty. If you don't believe me, just read their reviews. They give five-star service until they are required to step up and be honorable and trustworthy. Here is the twist to this story: as it turns out, THE SCOOTER BATTERY WOULD NOT ACCEPT A CHARGE! Whatever was wrong with it, the battery turned out not to be depleted. The problem was electrical which means FMS absolutely DID owe us something. The problem was in THEIR scooter, yet we were the ones who had to bear the burden 100%. Sam wasn't being nice when she assured me a significant discount, she OWED me a significant discount. Oh, are you wondering what my "significant" discount offer was for a 5-day rental? About $16. No remuneration for their defective equipment that caused us A LOT of inconveniences, and no discount for me, for I choose not to do business with a company that willingly chooses to deceive their customers. read more

Wonderful experience! Caroline was such a huge help. My father in law struggles getting around and visiting the different parks at Disney World was so much more enjoyable because we had a mobility scooter for him. We didn't have a scooter reserved and called on a Tuesday morning and had a scooter reserved by early that afternoon. The scooter was in great shape, comfortable and held a charge all day long. If negative stars were an option this place would be in the negative. I first became suspicious when our hotel charged me for holding the rental until we arrived. They choose not to do business with this company. We left our hotel and went to the first Disney park. The chair proceeded to break down. Called the company and their answering system said representatives are with other customers which was untrue. The business was closed and there was no emergency number to call. Literally left us stranded in the park. Thankfully we called a cab and with the help of the park personnel and our hotel staff we got back to the room safely. The following morning at 6 am the company did call to see what the issue was. The woman did not understand why our 6th voicemail was " rude and nasty" REALLY. You left us stranded and wondered why we are upset. This company is unprofessional and lacks common decency when dealing with handicapped people. In a need to assist me touring the various theme parks at Disney World I decided on getting a scooter. After reviewing the many options and various costs online I decided on getting a 3 wheeled Go Go Scooter from Florida Mobility Rentals. This was the best decision I made. Since I was visiting for 2 weeks (8/12 - 8/26) the scooter provided me with both comfort and relieved the stress of long walks. Their service was excellent. We scheduled delivery at the Boardwalk Resort for 3:30pm. No sooner did our plane land Bob, our delivery representative, contacted us by phone to verify the time and place for delivery. When we arrived at the resort Bob was already there and gave us full instructions on the scooters use and dismantlement. Since we were changing hotels after a week we scheduled the scooters pickup at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for 8:00am. Again Bob contacted us to verify pickup and was promptly there before 8. The scooter was a tremendous help and was not difficult loading into the back of a Nissan Rouge Sport vehicle we rented. In 95 degree humid weather it was a godsend.
