Bad service and untrustworthy! They bent my lower control arm on my 3500 then try to use nonsense physics to tell me it wasn't them. Simple tire rotation caused several hundred dollars of damage to my truck. I would not recommend using the Big O in Norman. read more

These guys did my oil change on Saturday and by Thursday my engine blew up cause they didn't do the filter correctly. I call corporate and the manger called me back acting like he didn't know what was going on and he said he got picture from the tech. I'm sure when they got my car back they went and put everything back how it was supposed to be to make me look like an idiot. Guys don't waste your time and money on these people who can't even properly change tires. They will MESS YOUR CAR UP! Go to take 5 or have your grandma do it for you before you take it here and have to buy a new engine. These guys never reset the engine light or gave me a new sticker . They are trying to say it's a like in the oil pan how ever that will not cause your car to do what mine did . Horrible. They aligned and balanced my tires. They didn't even do that right and I bought the 1 yr warranty for it. However, I took it back and they said "we took care of it, there a few few things that need to be changed soon." As, soon as I pick up my car I start hearing weird noises. A few days later, I looked and my brakes caliber bolts We're loosened. My left one completely came off and my car stalled in the middle of the road. once I got to looking my left one was completely gone and my right one was also on that same pace. never, going again. I took my car to Big O Tires in July 2021 in order for them to change one of my tires. I need to stress that the tire they changed was of a different manufacturer that the tires I has in my car and I remember that because I asked them if having a different brand would be a problem for my car. After the service, I left the place and since this is the first car I own, I did not check my tires whether something was wrong as I didn't think about it. Throughout the past 6 months, I still did not pay attention to the tires until yesterday when my tire pressure light check came on. I took it to the nearest mechanic and they checked the tires. Turns out 3 of my previous tires were replaced by Big O Tires with 2017 old tires. So I went to the shop to ask how my tires were changed when I only asked for 1. Theo, one of the employees was not only rude, but he refused to check the cameras( as they only keep the footage for 2 weeks, which is the biggest lie ever), he refused to check the other 3 tires to see whether they had them in the shop. What kind of shop do you have that does not have records of whether you had that tire in your shop or not. On top of that Theo accused me of lying instead of actually checking. I guess it is my fault for not checking before as this place is not to be trusted. read more

If i could give zero stars i would. I worked in an auto shop for 10 years and this place talked to me like i was down right stupid. Mansplaing as i like to call it. They charge double if not tripple for labor and parts than any other place. I got quoted $300 from a big O in Texas and this same one charged me nearly double. Shame on this location. So let's talk about about how my first experience with Big O went from a 5-star review to a 2-star review. At the time I decided to go with Big O, they had a single review for 1-star based on them trying to scam someone (basically upsell) - which unfortunately is a common practice for some repair shops. Knowing that I still decided to go with Big O because of their prices and tire options. You can go online to their website and find the exact tire you want and bring that into the store and they will order it for you no questions asked. They try to bend over backward for the customer to help get you taken care of. They offered to come to my work and pick up my car and return it with the new tires installed. This is a very nice gesture but I'm not very comfortable with that so I opted to come in on the weekend and have them installed while I wait. The quoted price for the tires was $447.96 (mid range tire) and there were going to be some additional fees for installation, disposal, alignment, and taxes. The price quoted before the install was $626.40 but this is where we ran into our first issue. They had included an optional 3-year tire protection plan for $67.20 that was not disclosed on the quote and only surfaced when presented the bill after payment was taken. It wasn't an easy process to get them to refund this and it took a while to get it corrected. It might have taken longer to get this fixed than for them to actually install the tires and perform the alignment. They lose 2 stars for this issue - so anyone who uses their services, be certain you see the bill up front before they complete the service. They lose another star for bringing me the cabin filter and the air filter for me to inspect as a way to validate them needing to perform an additional service. I came in for tires, why are they estimating 2 hours for the installation and alignment while performing additional tasks that were not requested. Unless requested, please don't do any additional checks that are unrelated to the service that I am requesting - especially without consent. This is totally unnecessary. Because it actually took a lot less time for them to complete the install and alignment. Overall - There were a few shady practices by some of the staff, not everyone was like that. Others were extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. Beware of the Upsell - I'd recommend you have your regular mechanic or yourself perform the regular maintenance tasks and leave these guys to handling tire replacements and alignments. Their prices on tires are very good and comparable to other places and the actual installation fees are minimal. Do your homework and you can escape any upsells and end up with some actually great service. read more

SCAMMING OLD LADIES: NORMAN OKLAHOMA:My 84 year old grandmother in law went to get their 25$ oil change and tire rotation special. She left with an estimate for $1800 to replace the struts on her 97 Camry because "they were damaged and must be replaced" . They also tryed to get her to sign up for an in house credit card to pay the enormous sum. After I sent her to another reputable shop they told ...her her struts were fine and even if they were not it would only cost $536 plus tax for everything with a lifetime warranty and labor.I called today and asked the manager of Big-O what this same service would cost and they told me less than $900.
