I have been going there since Eddy moved in about 25 years ago because it's close. My friends and neighbors always told me it was too expensive. On 11/27 my electric window stopped working. He charged me over $900 to fix it. My friends still kid me about it. The same problem came up, window not working. I took my car in and told him It also had a small problem with the brakes. He called to tell me the brakes will be $300 and the window $1100. I said don't do the window. My bill was over $500 including $190 to "inspect and advise" on the window. Next day I took my car to Liberty Auto glass. In 90 seconds the guy pulled the window out and showed me the broken part. He said he could fix it tomorrow for $170. Next day I brought it in - out in under 20min - $170. Yeah, Eddy is "nice" but I feel like I have been over charged for years. Totally ripped off. Shop around your estimate before committing to service here! I've been coming here for years with multiple cars, but I feel it's time to move on. I like Eddie okay, but when I shop around his estimate, I can always find a mechanic who can do the labor for less, usually hundreds of dollars less wirh minimal to no mark up. They have price matched once, but I might as well go to the other mechanic. Recently, they charged me $190 for one hour to diagnose my CEL problem! I was never told of the diagnostic fee up front and left in tears for something they quoted me that will cost over $1,500 to fix. I got a quote from the other mechinc to fix the same problem for $700. Again, I shopped the estimate around and went back to the more reasonable auto shop I'm sad to leave this place as they are close to me and Ive been coming here for years, but they have gotten too expensive and I feel like they always find something wrong with my car costing hundreds of dollars, even during an oil change. read more

I've bought my tires here as well as had an oil change, and my tires rotated. My fiancé also had an oil change with them and had a wonderful experience too. They've also kindly assisted me with clearing codes on my Honda hybrid because it can be a bit hard for me to figure out how to reset those manually. 1/17/2025 went to the Big O Tires website and saw they had a Michelin tire Defender LTX MS2 in the size 255/70R 16 115T XL for $235.99 each. Set of 4 for $943.96. Website states call for availability. I was told the tires were in the warehouse and that I would have to pay in advance before they would bring them over to the store. After I got the receipt, I see I was billed $289.99 each and the set of 4 was $1,159.96. When I questioned the price, Robert told me that they did not have the tires and had to buy them from a different store. B.S. Run From Big O Tires as fast an you can. BIG O TIRES is an absolute must. I had a screw in my tire; very unfortunate. Being very tight on money and having dealt with this screw for months; to say I was over it is an understatement. I messaged to get a quote on the repair as many other tire shops either refused to do it, their quote was too high, or said they didn't have availability. I spoke with Eddy, I'm assuming the owner/manager, and he told me to bring it in as repairs are free of charge even if you didn't purchase from them. Skeptical as I was, I finally drove in this morning thinking I was going to be at the bottom of the priority and be forced to wait forever. Ray, I think was his name, was in the waiting area; which is decorated with all sorts of things which definitely kept be busy. Ray took my keys, made a few very funny jokes, and said it'll be done very quickly. Sure enough about 20 min later my car came around with yet another very friendly worker, and all was done, free of charge. I hate to do this because I think the buisness is good, but this is the truth. I thought they did a thorough job on catching the damaged tire I told them about. One week later, the screw that they said they removed had popped out from the inside, I had a flat during lunch and had to change it. I called them and they were to busy to fix their mistake. I dont think I am coming back. I liked it there but, someone fucked up and they were too busy to correct. Maybe, they are so busy that mistakes can be made. This place gave me the worst customer experience I have had, at any business, EVER! Big O should change their name to Big NO! I bought a full set of tires back in December. My receipt says I have this warranty etc.. every month since December there has been some issue with the tires. They are constantly getting holes in them, not holding air, whatever. Most recently, last Sunday, I was on the freeway when a tire blew out at a high speed. It destroyed the tire and almost killed my girl and I. Luckily we were able to pull off the freeway and I was able to get a tow. When I called Big O on Monday to tell them what happened and inquire about the warranty, the manager Eddy tried to invalidate my experience by saying these things didn't happen etc.. I got the tire replaced at a spot closer to my house. I kept the old tire, then drove over to show it to Eddy at Big O. I don't know why, but I guess I thought they would appreciate the situation. Maybe at least an alignment would be under warranty. Eddy went on to try and tell me I was wrong and he would not be honoring the warranty. After realizing I would have to eat the warranty, I was very frustrated and had words with Eddy. Not the coolest thing I've ever done, and I'm not proud of it but Ill take responsibility for that. Eddy responded very aggressively with expletives. It seemed like he was trying to start a physical altercation with me. Almost immediately after that, 5 other employees came running out of the garage to attack me with wrenches and other implements of destruction in hand. The first guy to the scene was pretty cool and just shook his head saying .. "I wouldn't" .. I got back in my car to leave. Right at that time, this other fool who looked strung out ran up on me SUPER aggressive .. banging on my car window yelling .. "do you want to get shook?" Cursing at me, trying to get violent while wearing his Big O uniform. (See picture of this guy below), I clapped back from inside the car, "do you want to go to jail?", I said.. meanwhile all his coworkers were holding him back and telling him to back off.. "let him go, let him go", they said. This is the most unprofessional experience I've even heard of, in real life. Is this really how Big O does business? About 10 minutes later I went back to take the aforementioned picture for this review. I wish I had video of the main altercation but I was more concerned with staying alive. In summery, they don't honor warranty and will threaten you with physical violence. These guys are super shady! Take your business somewhere, ANYWHERE besides Big nO tires! read more
