Dad has had issues with big o tires in Corydon for years. He finally stopped using them. He advised for me several times not to use them but I went because they offered 100 days same as cash (which I did end up having to pay financing on even though paid off within the 100 days but that's a story for another day)... this time I got struts but on for my Fiat. My dad called me all excited the day it was completed and asked if I felt like I was in a "new ride"!? I replied "to tell you the truth! It feels like they didn't even do anything"... 2 months went by and Dad was out riding with me for New Years and he said "man this car is terrible! Feels like you need new struts!" He was shocked that this was the car I had them put into months before. He said he would go into the store and talk to them with me. A man who worked there told us they haven't put "top hats" on the struts so that's why it rode so rough and it would cost another $100 plus for the needed parts (labor would be free)... my dad and I called corporate and explained and the lady manager at big o called us back and said there was no way that was true. So we took her the paper and showed her where we had been quoted it. She blew it off like it wasn't important. I told her "either they lied the first time or lied the second time-but both can't be true" Dad asked how they could quote a price for work that didn't need to be done!? She just shrugged. We ended up selling the car "as is" since it had issues with the motor.. but this is the kind of work and competence that you're getting when you deal with Corydon Big O. What a rip off. The guy kept trying to offer me a "tune up" on the Fiat when I told him the 3rd cylinder was blown in the motor. Please don't go there. EVER. Not even for tires read more

We would give this place ZERO stars if this was an option. Our friends were coming into Louisville from St Louis and had a blown tire near this location. They had the vehicle towed to Big O and talked with the shop the next day. They explained that they're in town for the weekend but need the vehicle back Sunday if they could just fix it. They paid over the phone to pick up Sunday while closed. We pull up and see this! One of the employees drove by and asked us what we needed because they're closed. We explained, and he called his Mgr. And they said there was nothing they could do but wait till Monday! We are 5 hours from home! What!?!?? After a couple hours of us calling our local friends and runs to Auto Zone (who were amazing btw!) We finally got them back on the road. Would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! read more

My daughter in law purchased 4 new tires from you with balancing and an alignment. They were headed in a four hour drive to come visit. After the install, she got on the highway and the car started vibrating. She took the car back the next morning (still hoping to come for the visit... only day later) but instead of fixing the problem, they had to wait on a fleet to get serviced. I think it's BS that a customer who already paid for your services gets the big "O" we are screwing you! Personally I wouldn't buy any thing that states a Big O. That leaves for a lot of "O"ptions and most apparently not good. Maybe in the future you will handle the "already paid for services" better instead of giving the Big "O"h we screwed your AGAIN option! I'll be leaving this on Yelp and Google too. These guys go out of their way to help with your auto. I was down there getting brakes and they took me back and showed me some other things that I should take care of. Then a couple came in from out of town. They were traveling to NY. Then their car started acting up with the steering. They took their car and had it fixed in about 40 min. they were very pleased. They do not stand behind their workmanship and like to yell at customers. If you want to wait 3 or more hours for oil change and or tire rotation and balance this is right up your alley.. I have been coming to this Big O since I was able to drive, and my parents have been coming since as long as I can remember. The guys are always honest, and they always do good work. I know I can trust their opinion on what needs to be done with my vehicle. I went there this past Wednesday for some routine maintenance. While I was waiting, a woman came in to pay for her service. Kenny (the guy that has always been there... either owner or manager. super nice guy, and he is a huge Cards fan, so that right there means he is awesome) told her he was giving her a $100 military discount, and he thanked her for her service. The lady was so happy and thanked them. They said, you do not have to thank us, we thank you for your service. Then he informed her that a couple that was there when she dropped off her vehicle inquired about how much her bill would be, and that couple paid $500 towards her bill!!! This left her bill to be $207 (which was originally $807 in case you don't math good). This had every customer in the place tearing up, and the woman in the military was about to cry as well. The Big O Staff informed her that the couple who made the donation thanks her for her service, and they wished to remain anonymous. It was a really nice thing to witness, and sure made me happier to do business with these people. So, if you don't choose to come here because they do good and trustworthy work on your vehicle, them come here because they are very supportive of our troops! read more

Last summer we limped into Big O with a flat tire. The manager took us to Cracker Barrel so we could eat breakfast while they fixed the tire. He came back and got us and explained that we were missing the specialty wrench needed to remove the tire so they fixed it while still on the car. They went above and beyond and said they didn't charge for flats. We gave him $20 and told him to get lunch. Bonus was we learned that we needed to visit our dealer and get the wrench so we would be prepared next time. Exemplary experience!! read more
