So you might find that random you're looking for or if you certainly care about price. I myself was asked to leave or carry my service animal and was told they don't allow "pets" I think it's fair to say that a service animal is yes a pet but also a huge need for the disability community as well. It's clear I cannot carry my service animal throughout the store while I shop and as I told them service animal they did not follow the correct procedure for this and will be contacting the ALCU and hopefully they can get educated about it. So I'm giving this business a huge thumbs down due to there lack of understanding and failure to comply with regulations in Oregon as a business in a prominent city of Oregon

This Costco requires some patience. The parking lot is…read morecrazy. The gas station is crazy. The food court is crazy. Even check out can be crazy. I'm not sure if the parking lot here is smaller than others or if theres simply more people that shop at this location but it's ALWAYS backed up and crowded. More so than most other locations. The gas station will ALWAYS have a line up so be aware and be patient. Same with check out in store, be prepared to stand in line, even a short line, and be patient. People are shopping with double sized carts, in bulk, and at least half of those people are doing it all with kids in tow. Just calm down or choose to shop somewhere less stressful. The food court here is also a back up with limited seating, but can any of us really complain when we're getting a delicious hot dog, with a soda, for $1.50?! Just give me my hot dog, soda, bulk trays of blueberry muffins, move along and be happy.

I will definitely suggest dropping in if you need inspiration for any holiday or season. I usually drop into the Washington Square location and just happened to be here. I definitely did not leave empty handed. Today was about accessories. I found the cutest pair of black socks with white flowers on them which is so me! I am big into wearing black and white and these are so unique! I also grabbed some amazing incense, some candy and I have started collecting clear glass bottles. I could not resist one for $1.99. That is the thing... their prices are so incredible for very quality things. I find great hair accessories, bath products, snacks, home décor... just wander around... you will find lots of things. The cashier also hooked me up with more discounts and a coupon. It is great that they actually care. I really appreciate that as a customer. But, pro tip is finding inspiration. Huge parking lot in a strip mall with many businesses. It was dark when I arrived and the parking lot was pretty dim with some lights burnt out. I don't like dark parking lots so found a light to park under. First thing I noticed when through the doors was Valentines items. I picked out a couple cards, cute red waffle iron and a set of kitchen towels for a gift. As I proceeded back further into the store there were several empty rows and a couple more partially empty rows. I was hoping for more but this location was pretty non-impressive. They took over an abandoned store, can't remember what was there, just know that having a HomeGoods here will definitely revitalize this little area. People were coming and going and it was quite crowded for a rainy Sunday. Maybe it's the time of year, but the large store footprint was not filled with goods like most HomeGoods. Many shelves and entire sections were bare. Like all HomeGoods, they had all the usual suspects - seasonal, gourmet food and snacks, gourmet chocolate, art, bedding, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, storage, small furniture, rugs, home decor, pet toys, beds and bowls, lamps, towels, pillows, bath accessories, faux plants and more! My favorite section is the gourmet food. It's a challenge for me to leave a HomeGoods without a bag of artisanal pasta! They have so many varieties and shapes not found in grocery stores in the PNW so when I see them, I have to purchase! I'm from an Italian American family with roots in NJ where the pasta aisles at grocery stores are a full aisle! So this section thatba,so contains olive oils, aged balsamic, roasted peppers, capers, pesto, artichoke tapenade and other Italian pantry items makes me very happy. The seasonal section is also a must. Right now it's exploding with all things pink, red, hearts and love for Valentine's Day. Those gnomes that used to be relinquished to the garden now find themselves dressed up for every season. Shelves filled with gnomes wearing pink hats and sweaters dominate this section. I'm in this area frequently running errands so no doubt this will become a regular stop.

Every 10.00 you spend at Box Lunch and the company donates a box lunch to the needy. The donations are also made on the local level - so here in Oregon they are made to the Oregon Food Bank. The company looks to open more stores, having up to 200 stores nationwide within the year. Right now they are at 20 stores, a worthy and lofty goal for sure! The store has fun items from Disney, Star Wars, Star Trek, Game of Thrones to Harry Potter and various super hero characters. Service was usually good. There is no other outlet nearby (one in eastside Portland, one in Gresham), so it will be missed by all regular customers. Their card advertised "close-outs and liquidations," and now, sadly, it seems they have been closed out and liquidated.
