    On March 20th, I purchased a bicycle online that was delivered to my home. Upon assembling the…read morebicycle, I discovered that the gear derailleur assembly was damaged. I phoned the manufacturer of the bicycle (Sixthreezero) regarding the damage; however, the call went to voicemail as it was a Sunday. As one can imagine, I was a bit upset by this as I am a middle-class guy and $450 is a good amount of money for me to spend on something that was delivered damaged. It was at this point that I decided to take the bicycle to my local Academy with the intention of getting a refund. I wheeled the bicycle into my local Academy and was warmly greeted by a nice young lady at the customer service desk that validated my purchase and asked if I could speak to her manager regarding the issue with the bicycle. The manager on duty at the time was a young man called Paul. I showed Paul the damage to the bicycle and expressed my disappointment as I was excited to receive the bicycle and was looking forward to enjoying it. Paul apologized for the mishap with the bicycle and asked me if I would allow his assembler to attempt a repair on it. I was happy to allow this as I really like the bicycle that I purchased. Paul thanked me for my patience and expressed his confidence in his assembler and told me that he would happily refund me for the bicycle if his assembler was unable to repair the damage. The assembler at this location was as good as Paul conveyed to me. Not only did the assembler repair the damage to the bicycle, but he also filled the tires and gave the bicycle an overall tune up. I couldn't be happier with the customer service that I received from Paul and his crew at this New Caney location.
