First off, allow yourself at least 30-45 minutes to get through this store if it's your first visit. There is so much to see and great items throughout the entire store. You can pick up anything from outdoor furniture to bakeware, from pergolas to mirrors. Second, be cautious about what you put in the basket. There were several items which were very difficult to decipher the pricing. They have a bunch of tiki torches and I wanted to pick some up for around our patio but there was no pricing. By the time my husband was able to find someone to help him get a price, I had moved on to another part of the store and we forgot to go back to get the very well priced torches for $2.99 a piece. He's going back tomorrow to grab them for us before they're gone! Last, it's very easy to get caught up in how pretty some of the items are but frankly some items we're severely overpriced. I used my self control (which was not easy!) however we got out of here for less than $60 and picked up some beautiful plant stands, some absolutely adorable indoor/outdoor pillows for our patio furniture for $7 a piece and a few solar lanterns for a decent price if you ask me. It's nice that solar items are starting to come down in pricing!! My favorite part of our trip was at the checkout. We walked up to get in line behind a lady and her two boys in the cart. The younger kiddo was kinda whining but not annoying...just being a kid. Turns out he wanted candy!!! I told him I wanted some candy too, I totally understood his pain. By the time we were about done checking out ourselves, we had a woman behind us with her little lady beginning to beg for candy too. We just laughed because evidently, product placement is everything!

I bought a cellphone cover on their clearance rack for $1 awhile back. I buy up their candy around holidays because they have the hard to find stuff for awesome deals. I love their make-up they sell. The check out can get long sometimes & move slowly, but the cashiers are really nice & helpful. Considering the prices & the friendly staff it's worth the wait. They are suppose to be putting one in Valpo in 2015 for those in that area.

I went in there to get balloons for a baby shower. The person who helped me (sorta) obviously was annoyed that she had to come to the front to help. I asked for 3 different balloons and they didn't have any of the 3 I asked for - pink heart, pink flower, and purple flower. These aren't exactly specialty balloons. The whole balloons area was a hot mess, so for all I know, DT may have those and they wouldn't know it. There were easily 15 people waiting in line and it wasn't until one person decided to want to return food to the store that held everyone up before they realized they need another cashier. Then, one of two cashiers ran out of 5's. Called for someone to help, I don't even know if she ended up getting what she need when I left 10 minutes later, also holding up the line. The store is prominent on a main drag, and apparently everyone wants to shop at 9:15 in the morning. I chalk that up to poor management and that's about it. The buck definitely stops there and there's no one else to blame. I don't intend on going to this DT ever again.

The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.

I spoke to Jayma, who was very friendly and personable. One of the rings was available, one was not. So, I had a lot of questions for Jayma. Not one time did she seem tired of any question that I asked and was really helpful to me. Kay Jewelers makes it very convenient to be able to pay a payment over the phone. I live over 30 miles away so Kay also gives the option of having your purchase sent via UPS to your residence or sent to a closer store location. I loved that Kay is so accommodating because I needed those options! lt was evening and dark so I really didn't want to make that long drive to pick up my purchase. Kay also recently has Affirm as a pay over time option which is great also! I saved alot of money with Kay! I hope my fiancee likes his ring - I got it as a Christmas gift. I want people to compliment him on his ring as much as they compliment me on the ring he got for me. The ring also compliments mine. I so hope he likes it but if he doesn't, I definitely want to give Kay Jewelers the business and have him pick out a ring that he does like. Jayma was the absolute best! Even after she shipped the ring out via UPS to another store closer to me, she followed up with the busy store location to make sure that it was delivered and then contacted me with the status. Now, that's excellent service! I can't thank her enough. Ask for Jayma when you come into this establishment. She has 15 years with Kay which is a big deal. I did pick up the ring and can't wait until Christmas - Jayma was a part of the excitement I had about purchasing the ring because of the total experience.
