They will charge you 10cents if you need a bag. Bring your own or try Ross and TJ Maxx.

The manager and the cashier were very useless when I asked them to apply a discount code from their website on a product I bought.

No apology. The people behind me were also upset because they had been waiting in line also for the same reason. No apology. * I told her the package contained all the info she needed to process the return. I was in too much pain due to (I listed the issues) after the wait, and the walk to continue, (still no apology or help) left the package for her to process with all the info needed, and went home. * It disappeared. Amazon did not receive it. I called the store, explained the situation, and they said they'd look into it. Amazon still has not received it. I received a phone call message marked 'spam' from an unlisted, unknown number with someone who said they worked for Kohl's. Although the number was unidentified, I called anyway. *The person said they found it, it was in the back of the store, and I could come back in and process it. They won't process it, although all the paperwork is there (bar codes, shipping label, phone codes, etc. He will have to ask management if he is allowed to provide customer service. Yes: a few years ago, the management was much better, they cared about the customers, the clerks were trained in customer care and service. No more. I recommend Wal-Mart for better service or shop online. Yes, I am seriously old-fashioned. I believe in customer service, or at least people who understand. I can see why the masses are moving toward more online stores.

Upon entering, a security guard also entered and gave us a prolonged and unusual look. At the time, we did not think much of it and continued shopping. Shortly after, my husband went to the coffee section while I remained in the women's clothing area. I moved between the women's section, the juniors section, and then the designer area. Throughout this entire time, the security guard followed me closely, remaining only a few feet behind me. Each time I moved to a different section, he moved immediately after me and maintained the same close distance. At one point, I heard the security guard make a phone call, which appeared to be regarding me. His proximity and behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I contacted my husband and informed him that I was being followed and profiled by the security guard. He came to join me immediately, yet the security guard continued to follow me even after my husband arrived. I then spoke with a manager to report the situation. What was particularly concerning is that many other shoppers in the store were dressed similarly to me, sweats and jackets, which was appropriate given that it was snowing. The only clear difference between myself and those shoppers was that I was the only visibly brown person in the area. The security guard's behavior made me feel criminalized and unwelcome, as though I was being treated as suspicious solely based on my appearance. This experience was deeply distressing. No customer should be made to feel intimidated, surveilled, or forced to leave a store based on race or ethnicity. This incident reflects a serious concern regarding discriminatory treatment of shoppers, particularly people of color

During the return of an item purchased online, the cashier was rude, impatient, and visibly irritated. At the time, there were no other customers present. I addressed his behavior by stating that he was being rude; I did not , insult him, or behave disrespectfully. After I thanked the cashier and stepped away to continue shopping, I observed the same cashier start helping another customer, and both of them began laughing and making derogatory comments about me. I returned to the counter to address this behavior, at which point the other customer began yelling at me, telling me to "behave better," completely unaware of the irony of his own actions. The involvement of other customers in a matter between a Nordstrom employee and me was inappropriate, unnecessary, and deeply unsettling. When I stepped outside the store to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, an individual named Justin approached me and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He immediately stated that the cashier who assisted me was the kindest and most polite employee in the store. He also referenced the existence of video footage. I asked whether he had personally reviewed the video, as his comments appeared to reflect a preconceived bias similar to that displayed by others involved. He acknowledged that he had not viewed the footage. I informed him that I intended to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, as this was not the first time I had felt humiliated at this location. I thanked him and left. While in my car, I contacted Customer Service and was treated professionally and respectfully; the representative demonstrated a high level of understanding regarding my experience. I have been a loyal Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer for many years and have shopped at locations across the country. I have never experienced treatment like this elsewhere. Unfortunately, this incident marks the third time I have felt disrespected and humiliated at this specific store. On a prior occasion, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Matthew, whose response I found to be dismissive and arrogant. I clearly stated at that time that I would no longer shop at this location, but unfortunately, I did not respect my decision and my boundaries. Given the seriousness of this incident, I am escalating this complaint to higher levels. The conduct of both the employee and the customers who felt empowered to intervene without any factual understanding of the situation was inappropriate and raises concerns of a potential hint of discriminatory behavior. I was informed that video footage with audio exists, which I welcome being reviewed. I will not shop at a store where I am made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or singled out. I choose to spend my money where I am treated with the same dignity and respect afforded to everyone else.

I've been working with trainers on my new service dog. (We still have our original dog too) in he just completed the Colorado K-9 Federal/Prison training program. Ok that's my back story..... I am now able to go to stores (my husband is still in the store) shop by myself with no anxiety, fear, PTSD panic episodes. Now for Walmart: we are greeted in a very friendly manner when we arrive. Employees say hello to me, I am not self conscious or fearful that the store is angry. I want to thank Walmart for the kind treatment and respect I am given. We actually find reasons to shop there.

The Walmart at 13420 W Coal Mine Ave in Littleton used to be a good place to shop, but…read moreunfortunately that has changed. Prices have increased significantly--items in the cosmetics department that once cost around $10 are now $13 to $15. Clothing prices have also gone up, yet much of the selection is still low-quality polyester with very few natural fiber options, making it hard to justify paying $30 or more. Another frustrating issue is that many makeup and personal care items are now locked behind glass, but there often seems to be no staff nearby to assist customers. The store's recent reconfiguration has also made shopping more difficult, as items have been moved around and there is rarely anyone available to help locate them. Overall, the shopping experience has declined enough that it no longer feels worth it to shop there. At this point, stores like Target or Walgreens offer a more convenient and satisfying option for cosmetics and clothing.

I asked if I could purchase 4 x 24 pill packages (96 pills), as I might take 3 pills/day (90). These work well for sinus colds, etc. The associate talked to the pharmacist, or perhaps it was a senior associate, then told me I could only purchase 48 pills. I asked why, as 48 pills didn't even allow me to take 2 pills/day before they would run out (the Equate instructions allow you to take up to 6/day). When I explained the state allows up to 120 pills per month, the associate told me it was a Walmart policy. I wanted to alert everyone that the Walmart on W Quincy in Littleton, CO has a policy for pseudoephedrine hci of only 144mg/month (40% of the state allowance). The other possibility is that the associate or pharmacist does not understand the state limits, is confused about Walmart's policies, or she is making her own nanny rules. M.L.
