It's nice to know that despite many stores closing, this store will remain open. The location is easy to get to, just off the Sawmill exit on Hwy 270. There's a huge parking lot and it's convenient to do your bargain shopping with Ollie's and Goodwill being right next door. It's just like any other Big Lots with nicely laid out merchandise. Never been in Big Lots before and was pleasantly surprised. Set up similar to most Walmart/Target layouts, and everything was really easy to find. I wasn't expecting them to have such a wide selection, but their home and grocery sections were quite expansive. Everything was clearly labeled with the price, and at least with the electronics, they seemed decently discounted. I didn't really interact with any of the employees here. The whole store seemed a little dead, and I was questioning if it was even open when I came in. I was just wandering around alone for a good portion of the trip, and it was slightly eerie. I was looking for cheap furniture since my dog recently tore up my 4 year old couch we got at Value City and my friends said to check out Big Lots. I didn't think they had furniture until I actually went into the store to check it out for myself with my husband. We found a great deal on a set that my dog cannot damage with her nails and the salesmen didn't sugar coat anything. We was truthful and honest about everything in the store. As well as the warranty. We didn't go with a warranty as we've had furniture sets before and the warranty didn't last too long until after the couch broke. Happy we were able to find a great deal on this furniture set and cannot wait for it to be delivered to my home soon! Now we can rest easy knowing our pet cannot damage this new set as it's very durable to outlast the toughest scratches. Thanks to the folks at Big Lots for their help today! read more

Not one stop shopping, but a good place to check out before you go to Meijer, etc. They have very good prices on some things, not so much on others- the furniture is outrageous, at least compared to the other areas of the store. But for basic household goods, and occasional food, I swing by every few months. This location is large, clean, and well-organized. Service is usually good. And getting in and out of the parking lot isn't bad, as long as it isn't rush hour. I almost always walk out with something, at least some candy. But I also almost never find everything I'm looking for. Because hey, it's a closeout store! read more

Slightly larger than the location on Olentangy River Road. It's always clean and you honestly never know what you'll find when you visit. Great store to get character themed Christmas wrapping paper and the prices on Christmas items goes down 25-50% on Boxing Day. read more

This place started as a five star location for me but based off if my current experience they dropped two stars. The employees need to be better educated on the programs they offer their customers. I came in to spend $150 dollars on two cute colored side tables that I have had my eye on the past week or so. The first disappointing thing to happen was the $80 dollar table was the last one and although he was willing to sell me it he refused to knock any percentage at all off which honestly is pretty customary when purchasing a display model of any sort. I was attempting to put the tables under their "Progressive" payment plan( basically like QVC where they divide your payments up into smaller payments much like layaway but you take it home today. I fill out the application, get one employee to try to check me out, he couldn't do it so had to wait for a second employee. All of this was ok with me. What wasn't ok with me was after all of that, takin about 20-30 minutes of my time just standing there waiting for them to figure out what the heck the hold up is- annnddd he tells me that I had to spend at least $250 to qualify to use the program. I'm seriously? You didn't know that before you just put everyone through that?!? Even though your an actual furniture employee and have ( presumably) done this how many times? I feel very much like I was bait- and -switched trying to get me to spend another $100. This displeases me. Greatly. read more

Wow, Big Lots has definitely improved in recent years. I stopped by this one since I was in the area, and was surprised to see products from Neutrogena, Pantene, Herbal Essence, Garnier Fructis, Physician's Formula Organicwear, Dove, and Yes To Carrots among the offerings in the cosmetics and beauty section. The array of canned goods included a variety of vegetables, canned soups, canned meats, fish, and fruits. Cereal offerings included Bob's Red Mill, Kashi, Bear Natural, and Mom's Organics. Everything seemed to be well within the expiration date, and only a few items had a dented box. You'll definitely want to check out the stock at Big Lots if you buy any of the above products and you're watching your budget. Supply does vary from store to store and week to week, though I've seen most of the products listed above also at the Hilliard and Olentangy stores. read more

Big Lots has really gotten to be a pretty amazing place. I remember as a kid it didn't have as much "trendy" stuff, but now they have a lot of really cool stuff! I especially am loving the Halloween items that are starting to arrive! Yay ! read more

Really surprised at how much Big Lots has cleaned themselves up and professionalized themselves over the years. This store is one of their crown jewels. Clean, modern, well organized, shelves are well stocked. Wide diversity of products. The workers know where their merchandise is located, are available to help, and seem very friendly. Been there four times and all four times they have opened up additional registers with only a few people in line to get people out quickly. There parking lot is clean, they bring in their carts, and it is very accessible. read more

The staff here is really very friendly. I be visited this location a few times and they have been helpful. The store is clean and organized, the restrooms are clean and I can't complain about anything other than prices. It is a hit and miss on competitive pricing. Today I bought a 6 foot table from here for $4 more than what Target had them priced at (because I didn't feel like driving back to Target), they had Huggies wipes for $2 and I just bought some at Kroger yesterday for .99, but I bought baby food for .50 and Kroger sells it for $1, like I said it's a hit and miss but as far as staff and cleanliness, I can't complain. read more
