SOME "REGULAR SHOPPERS" SEEMED TO HAVE AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE... I shop regularly there myself. I started noticing that the same individuals seem to get all of the good items in their cart. It's not just one or two items. They typically have a cart full of high-end purses, perfumes, clothing, and more. Today they took extra long to put a bin out and waited for the same group of oriental women to walk in and get positioned. A new bin went out immediately upon their arrival. Last Friday I tailed one of the oriental women into the store and scored several items which is atypical. I asked one of them if they knew the exact times that the bins were being put out today. Her response was that it was just a big coincidence that they walked in when the bin was being placed out randomly. This was the same woman that had FaceTimed the manager ( who happened to be of a similar background) in my presence a while back while we were waiting to get into the store. As a consumer, this is very bad business. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the male manager as I left today. My advice is if you see oriental women entering the store follow them because they may know EXACTLY where things are going to be placed. read more

You know, it's... a thing. Not my thing. Big open store, filled with crates of random Amazon returns and overstocks. If you dig through for an hour, you might find some gems. I don't have the patience or interest. I've gotten items occasionally at other bin stores, but don't rush to find them. This one was right in front of me, as I was waiting for someplace else to open. So, why not? Random food items (probably expired.) Toys. Brake pads. Clothes. Phone cases. All sorts of things. But not always labelled, so, brake pads for what car? Cases for what phone? What's in that sealed cardboard box? Dunno. Prices vary by day. On a Monday everything was 5 bucks. Not crowded, though evenings and weekends these places are nuts. I saw some scented Play-Doh so I got it for Baby K. Pancakes, bacon, and orange scents. Amusing and silly. She loves it. Just didn't see anything else interesting. Service was friendly and fast. Come check it out. Maybe it's your thing, or you'll find your thing. read more

We visited this Bin store on Friday, November 15, 2025, and were thrilled to find it since we're from out of town and love the Bin stores in our area in Tennessee. However, let me start by saying that this store is incredibly disorganized and trashy. While I did find a couple of good items, overall, it was a disappointing experience. The store was filled with trash, and the good stuff was scattered everywhere. I purchased mystery boxes at checkout, excited to see what we might find. Unfortunately, most of the boxes were filled with trash, and there were no good items. I highly recommend not purchasing a mystery box at this store for $10. They're all trash, and I wouldn't recommend going back to this store. read more

Typical outlet store. No organization, grimy objects, cheap-o's breathing down your neck, low prices. You really got to dig to find anything worth while. There were repeats of many things, and many items were boxed up, but you could still reas the label on the box and know from there, what was inside of it. They had things ranging from karate belts, to calendars, shoes, and many random food products. I grabbed a few things, a bucket of chalk, fake nail tips, and a couple brown sugar body scrubs! My friend found little dog hair rakers, and a tiny vest/outfit for her pup. If you want to come, make sure to bring disposable gloves with you or hand sanitizer to use once you're finished. I don't live in Columbus and stumbled upon this store while visiting with my two teenagers. My daughter took a box to a counter with a sign that read "Box opening and plug-in testing" and began to open it to see what was inside. An employee named Sean slammed a claw grabbing stick on the table next to her and said, "Don't open the box." She came to me in tears and explained what had happened. I confronted Sean, who claimed she wasn't following the rules and that box opening was now in another section. I pointed out the sign where she was standing, which clearly read "Box opening..." He read it aloud and I asked how she was supposed to know the rules had changed. I requested that he apologize to my daughter, but he just walked away. read more

So I guess this establishment just goes along with the whole neighborhood and other stores in this strip mall. Basically you go into this big room that has these cheap looking bins with stuff in them. Mind you this is not quality stuff. Basically, this is leftover old packages that Amazon had returned or whatever the service is not great they do not take cash I don't feel comfortable with that, the selection, there's nothing of great value. I would rather go to a thrift store, where things have been looked at and selected for a good quality, and where the customers are treated very nicely. Apparently you can look at stuff and there's boxes you are not allowed to open the box at the venue have to go and have one of the employees open it. Fair warning, if you come across a box that has a hole in it and you happen to look into the box, you will be yelled at and you will be asked to leave . read more

I'm not very familiar with these bargain bin stores... but I went to 'Where Ya Bin' twice, once on a Sunday and once on a Wednesday. It's a giant warehouse space, but the employees are friendly and the checkouts are fast. Theres a "product testing station" where the employees will open the boxes for you so you can see what's inside, so don't open any packages on your own. It was really crowded both days when I went, and I didn't really find anything that I had to have. It looks like a combination of close-out products that weren't sold in stores... and Amazon/ other returns. Lots of car parts and party supplies, toys, and just odds and ends. **Also be careful because there's perishable items in the bins too and some are past their expiration date.** read more

To Whom It May Concern, This message is on behalf of all the loyal customers who have faithfully shopped at your store every Friday--some as resellers, others simply purchasing for themselves. Lately, it has become clear that we are being unfairly targeted, seemingly because of our loyalty. Perhaps someone feels we're finding items that others can't, but the truth is, success in a bin store comes down to time, effort, and experience. Whether we're first or last in line, it all depends on how much time we spend searching, how well we keep our eyes open, and whether we recognize value when we see it. There's absolutely no way of knowing what you'll find--it's all chance. Yet, for some reason, complaints are being made--whether from upper management or employees--that paint loyal customers as if we're receiving special privileges. That is completely false. Many of us travel 20, 30, even 60 miles just to shop here. We stand in line with 75 to 100 other people, with no guarantee of finding anything better than anyone else. Some days we walk out with great finds; other days, we find nothing at all but still make purchases. Loyal customers have gone out of their way to support this store. We've picked up fallen items, removed glass and knives from bins to prevent injuries, and even helped new customers learn how the process works. To hear that loyal customers are now being treated unfairly is both disappointing and frustrating. For example, we've been overlooked when selecting people for the line, as if that somehow affects what we find. This is a bin store--it's not Target, it's not Walmart. It's every man for himself, but with respect. No one snatches items from someone's hands, and no one expects to be punished just for occasionally finding good items. I hesitated to say anything or leave a negative review, but it's truly disheartening to see a business turn against its most dedicated customers. We have always been kind, respectful, and fair. We've never asked for special treatment or favors--we've simply supported your business. And yet, we are now being watched, targeted, and treated unfairly for reasons no one understands. Do better. I was actually really excited to come here, because I love cheap things and rummaging for a good find. Granted, I came on Thursday - the last day in the cycle, when everything is $.25 - but everything was truly just junk and the atmosphere and employee interaction is abysmal. They have many duplicate items, but don't attempt to put them together, so each bin we looked through was essentially the same thing. There were 2 instances when I was picking through items that I touched something leaking or sticky. After that, I mostly just looked, because it was disgusting and, as mentioned in another review, there are no hand sanitizing stations despite the hands-on nature of the store. I'm sure on other days there may be some worthwhile options and not a garbage heap of 2021 calendars and broken containers. But the worst part was the atmosphere. The floors are so dirty, and there are constantly employees yelling around. On 2 occasions, an aggressive employee approached my group and told us that we cannot open boxes. We were really confused, because none of us were opening boxes, literally just turning them around to read the labels. He could clearly see on approaching that he was wrong, but instead of apologizing, he said, "Well, it appears that you're opening the boxes, so don't do that." It was just rude and uncomfortable. This same employee scolded other customers around us, even getting on a microphone multiple times to scold people across the room who were truly doing nothing wrong. He called, "Sir. Sir!" into the microphone, and of course every man in the store looked his way. He was referencing a south Asian man with a stroller and said, "You need to get the stroller out of here." The father obviously didn't intend to do anything wrong and could have much more easily and respectfully been asked to move his baby face to face rather than across the room with everyone staring. There were not enough people in the store for the stroller to have even been a problem, and I don't know what the employee expected the man to do with his small child. Even if there were worthwhile items, I wouldn't come back here because of interactions like these. You will be met with unclean conditions and hostility. read more

Truly an indecent experience turned into a nightmare! The administrative personnel are unprofessional, rude, discourteous and plainly lacks diversity and customer service training. They disrespect employees, as well as customers in front of an audience of shoppers. I mean yelling, screaming at human beings who are there to support the business. Seemingly, they target "particular folk" with mean, insulting comments, even though they have done no wrong. I will not come back to a store that acts like they're doing a favor by serving "marginalized " people. When other customers lend service to fellow customers, and the administrative staff just watches like screech owls, clearly, it is time for corporate management to intervene. read more

As first time shoppers, we had no idea how easy it was to get kicked out. One of our party put a top back with the pants it belonged to, and was immediately told they needed to leave for the rest of the day. We tried explaining they had not been there for the announcement (having just arrived) and being new didn't understand the extremely strict interpretation of "opening" things. No learning curve, no warnings, no grace, only dismissal. So we left our full cart and exited as well. Not worth spending time in such a toxic environment for mediocre deals on a Saturday. read more

First time there. Got kicked out within two minutes. I looked inside an already opened (like flap was open, zero tape, no seal) box and was told I had to leave the store. Didn't take anything out, literally just looked into an already opened box. No one told me any rules. The signs say "don't open boxes", but I didn't realize that meant you can't even look in already open boxes. I love the bin store in Johnstown. Not the same at all. read more

My mom got individual chocolate milk things and when I drank one the next morning after I have put it in the fridge it was expired..and it has been since 2019!!!! it was really chunky and it made me tho up.. yes my mom did forget to check the expiration date but why in hell would you even try to sell milk that was expired.. I would definitely not recommend going here and it's not like they were in the bin with the other stuff, it was sitting out in the front of the store with more of them read more

This is a new place and a Horders paradise. Here, you get 1 shopping cart, and depending on the day, everything you see is one price. There are about 30 to 40 huge bins filled with anything, and everything is all piled up. You get to sort through and rummage through all the bins. A lot of the stuff is on boxes, so it's a mystery what it is. They have a "Opening and testing station" where you take unopened mystery boxes up, and they open them, and you can decide if you want it for that price. According to the employee I spoke too all the new stuff comes in on Fridays, and that is also the highest cost day. So basically, it's a "would you pay X for this or wait another day and see if it's still there and you can find it, haha?" They have boxes of free masks, and you can only have 1 cart full per group or family. In my experience, I found some things worth $7, but I didn't need some, not like a 2022 calendar. The downfall for me since so many people are touching so many things they do not have a hand sanitation station, so bring your own if you wish. Keep in mind that most of this stuff is products that were overstocked or bought on Amazon and returned with or without all parts. Meaning cloths, blankets cloth of any sort could contain bedbugs. I would just be knowledgeable about that, too. Amazon used to sell its stuff to auction houses that removed it, and people bid on it online. This is the new way of taking care of returns. I am sure there are some great deals here, but it's concerning because resellers will buy this stuff, and you have no clue where it has been or what it has been used for. The cheapest day to go is Thursday as whatever is left is I think $1 or less Tuesday is $3 so if you wanna check it out you might find somthing great or not it's a gamble but so is life haha. You need time and patience if you go to this place. Be prepared to look things up on line to get the true cost. Many items are less expensive on Amazon and you don't want to over pay. However if you have plenty of time and treat it like a treasure hunt you can walk away with something you needed at a great price. I was there on 10 dollar day and bought a 99$ item in perfect condition. Two issues caused the three star rating. One - the line to check boxes is too long. I didn't even bother waiting for it. And secondly there is an aggressive man making repeated announcements not to open the boxes or you will be ejected. It's awful. My advice to them is if you see someone opening a box address it with them. Stop talking crap on the public announcement system. read more

Terrible employers and trash place...The first time I've ever been there and I was not know the rules, I was checking the boxes that already open to see what is in, an employee approached me and said I shouldn't open boxes. I said that I didn't know that. I really didn't know it because I was considering that it was a NORMAL store. She said they have signs on the wall and they had announced 3 times to not opening boxes. I said that I Didn't even see the signs and heard announcement because I was not paying attention to read wall sign and announcement was blurry I didn't even hear what they said and she answered me that I should have known that because they had signs. I said "ok, I won't do it any more." After a few minutes she came back with her supervisor and ask me to leave the store ! Seriously! Me, a costume, I treated like an animal or a thief. Such rules ! Ending up like treated like this! I don't recommend anyone to shop there unless you have a patience of a saint. read more
