I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated during my recent visit…read more I politely asked a woman wearing a loss prevention/security uniform with short gray hair, "Ma'am, do you know where the bathrooms are?" Instead of simply answering my question, she looked me up and down with a very rude and judgmental expression that made me feel unwelcome and embarrassed. She responded, "Oh honey, the bathrooms are for paying customers only. Are you going to shop and pay before you use the bathroom?" I explained that I planned to browse the store but needed to use the restroom first. She again replied in a dismissive and rude tone, "No. The bathrooms are for paying customers only." I understand that stores have restroom policies, and if that is the policy, it could have been explained respectfully. What was unacceptable was the condescending attitude, the judgmental look, and the way I was spoken to. No customer or potential customer should be made to feel belittled simply for asking a polite question. Because of this experience, I chose not to shop there. I hope management addresses this employee's customer service skills so that others are treated with the courtesy and respect every person deserves.

Wright Walmart Super centers 3450 VALLEY PLAZA PKWY, FT WRIGHT, KY 41017 to get some lunch meat, bread, cheese, etc. I've been patronizing this Walmart for about 20 years, as this Walmart is on my way home, and the prices are reasonable. During my SELF Checkout- there was a (presumably a Walmart employee) lady, I couldn't tell if she was a Walmart employee because she did not have a name badge, or vest of any sort. I was trying to weigh some fruit or something. She kind of jerked my stuff around and looked at me funny and wouldn't talk to me. I ask her her name because she had no name badge, and she looked at me like I was weird or something. I only have one eye so it took me a little longer to self check out and I stoop and shake because of my severe scoliosis, and plates in my neck. So every time she deemed necessary, she came over and interrupted me and moved my things around. It's kinda like there was a language barrier? I guess she is maybe a DEI hire, she seemed to be Hindu or something of the sort. The red dot on her forehead gave her away, I didn't know Walmart introduced spiritual awakening, or prayer at their stores. I was confused. I have several Hindu friends, but that's not the point, it was the language barrier I guess? But no Walmart name tag, i've finished up my order and tried to use my debit card, the computer screen said 29 items, so now the machine wouldn't let me complete my checkout, the computer needed an associate approval. The lady came over and scanned some kind of card from her pocket (name badge?) and them a video played of the two cans of sockeye red salmon that she scanned herself? I was then able to pay for my food. I guess she came over to me for five times during the checkout . She did try to be helpful. I think but demeanor is everything when there's a language and name badge barrier. However after completing my checkout, I did advise the manager (in private) that she had no name tag and she was NOT very cordial, the manager of Walmart explained to me, that Walmart has a policy that all employees MUST wear Walmart name tags. I also explained to the manager how rude this lady was. About jerking my produce around .... It seems this whole thing was non conforming to American standards. I'm done with Walmart.

While in town, I visited the I Love Cincinnati shoppe to pick up a few souvenirs. This is…read moredefinitely the place to go as they sell all types of souvenirs and apparel. You can find a lot of local sports team merch here too. I picked up a couple of magnets and a WKRP sticker. For those not in the know, WKRP used to be an old sitcom from the late 70's-80's about a radio station in Cincinnati. The shop is located on the 2nd floor of the historic art deco style Carew Tower. This tower is also home to the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland. The interior although grand was sparsely occupied by businesses. Ghost town vibes for sure however the grand architecture within the building is worth walking around in. The only difficulty we had was finding parking. This shop is in the downtown area and parking spaces are hard to come by. My husband ended up driving around and picked me up when I finished shopping.
