I came to this campground around 2pm on a Thu and took my chances to see if there were any first come first serve spots and there were plenty to choose from! Sweet! I had the option of Turkey Loop or Bear Loop as both were FF options. There are also a few other loops where you can reserve a spot. There are 100 sites here so it's a relatively big campground. My site was $30/night. Max nights at campground is 14 days. This campground was luxurious to me as I have done more BLM, primitive style camping recently so having toilets and showers was really glamping it for me! Showers here are from 6:30am - 6:30pm. And if you don't get a campsite, it's $12 for showers. You can also buy ice here which is $3.50 for 7 lbs bag and also firewood for $10 but being it's now fire restriction season, no wood is being burnt. But you can use propane cookers and propane fire places too. Great location, easy access to everything, quiet and shaded, lots of birds. Will definitely be back here again!

The…read morechairlift ride alone was worth the visit, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and giving us a unique perspective of the surrounding forest. To our surprise, we even spotted a bear roaming the property from above--a memorable experience we'll never forget! The weather was absolutely perfect, making for an incredible day on the mountain. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the bike shop had everything we needed, including locally made Arizona sunscreen, which was a great touch. My husband and I rented downhill bikes from the resort, and while we appreciated the convenience and quality of the rentals, they could have had a more thorough pre-ride inspection. The tire pressure on both bikes was significantly lower than it should have been for the trails. Thankfully, my husband and son had the tools and give the bikes a quick safety check before we headed out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we're grateful we checked Sunrise Park Resort off our mountain biking bucket list. We spent an amazing day riding in the dirt, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and making great family memories.

I picked up most of my skills here at Sunrise in those early days. It is also the place that I first learned how to snowboard. Lately, I have been skiing in resorts outside of Arizona and haven't been making my way over here as much. I had never tried night skiing and recently made a drive up here one weekend. I ended up staying over in Pinetop. Sunrise Park Resort allows you to ski or board from 4:30 to 8pm on certain evenings. It is a separate ticket price and you can add it on to your day pass if you want to do a full day. I really enjoyed skiing under the stars. The only bummer is that they only have a few runs open for it. Sunrise Park Resort is located near Greer, AZ. It is owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Sunrise has 67 trails across three mountains. They rent out ski gear, offer lessons and even have skibobbing. Sunrise is usually only open for about four to five months during the winter season. There are a number of places to eat at if you want to grab a bite while here. Sunrise Park Resort has mountain biking and other activities during the summer months. The parking lot isn't the greatest on snowy days, but is spacious. The closest towns with hotels to stay in are Show Low, Pinetop, Greer, Eagar, and Springerville. There are some companies in the Phoenix area that offer travel deals for transportation and lodging.

Throughout the entire day, Joe, Dyan, and their staff were there to help, check in on everyone, and make sure our guests were happy and enjoying themselves. We received nothing but compliments about the entire experience. We honestly could not have imagined our wedding day going any better. We ourselves did not stay at the lodge because we have a family property a few miles away from Aspen Lodge. But our guests who stayed loved their entire experience and enjoyed relaxing on the gorgeous property. They also complimented every part of their stay. We all honestly cannot wait to go back. We are also incredibly thankful for our coordinator, Michael Krach, who made sure our vision came to life down to the very last detail. He truly was the brains behind the beauty of our ceremony and reception. Michael handled everything with such professionalism and grace, even when unexpected chaos arose. One moment in particular showed us exactly how incredible he is at what he does. Shortly before our ceremony, when Michael went to pick up our bouquets, the flowers arrived from the supplier in less-than-ideal condition. With very little time before the ceremony, Michael completely stepped in and remade our bouquets and floral arrangements himself. The Aspen Lodge staff immediately jumped in to help, and together they transformed the flowers into arrangements that were even more beautiful than we could have imagined. After that, Michael continued to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the ceremony and reception. He was incredibly helpful, calm, and attentive, and our guests absolutely loved him. We cannot recommend Michael enough to anyone looking for a coordinator who will truly care about their wedding and go above and beyond to make it beautiful. All in all, it was truly the greatest day of our lives, and we are beyond thankful to Aspen Lodge, Joe, Dyan, their amazing staff, and Michael for helping make it so incredibly special. And another huge thanks to the other venders we hired who were recommended by the Aspen Lodge. We loved watching the horses across the road. Also, there's nowhere to walk from the RV park and there is nothing close by and also there's nowhere sidewalk on the main road, so just keep those things in mind. We had a perfect view for the Eager/Springerville fireworks show. That's not why we stayed there, but definitely was an added bonus!

Bear Paw RV Park, Eagar, AZ…read more This is a beautiful area of northeastern AZ on the way from Phoenix through the Great Array and on to Soccoro. The park is just on the edge of town, which is a small contiguous township with Springerville. It is easy to find. The pull through sites are nicely gravelled and spacious. Clearly their main clientele are seasonal residents. On this day in mid-March I am the only overnight guest. The seasonal places are quite clever and people have put a lot of thought into adding on porches here, decks there to light weight travel trailers. I would guess in the summer the weather is heaven. The sites are large enough to feel a little spacious and there are tall Chinese elm trees between each site. They are just leafing out now. A roundabout walk around the whole park takes about 15 minutes, and the views of nearby mountains and hills and very nice to see. The air here is very fresh. I like the strictness of the rules: Quiet time 8 PM to 8 AM, no generators. I think older visitors would really like this. I saw lots of deer sign. A few cautions: They do not accept credit cards so bring cash ($21) for a 30 amp site. They do not have showers or public restrooms. I think they simply decided their main clientele were semi permanent and didn't want to bother with cleaning a bathroom. I will have to take a bird bath tonight. They do have one machine for laundry, with cold water only at the moment. The owner thought I would have an internet signal being fairly close to her house, but there is no signal. As a single woman traveling alone I actually feel quite safe here. The owners are nearby, and there is only one entrance and exit. I think this town and this business stands in as a good example of what AZ is like outside the big cities: Conservative, very private, sprawling with all sorts of equipment and barns. It is a functional place, and clearly the owners do a lot of their own construction work, etc. Nothing too fancy, but orderly and pretty clean.

I found the owner to be very communicative, and gracious. I received the code for the front door by email so we were able to get right into the cabin upon our arrival to Greer. Wifi worked great and while we didn't use it there is an appropriately sized flat screen for TV time, and large wood burning fireplace for the chilly nights. Also, we appreciated that there was a coffee maker and the pantry was already stocked with coffee. Finally, I asked not long after we arrived if we could have late checkout and the owner generously allowed us to stay until 2pm, which gave us Sunday to enjoy Greer and doing some scenic offroading before packing up and heading back to the valley. Really enjoyed our weekend here and would stay at Antler Ridge again.

We asked for a refund for the two night that's we weren't going to stay and moved to a different place. Lauren is a unhelpful caring person she'd told me to just deal with it. I wasn't going to risk my family health will never stay at one of their places again and will never recommended this place to anyone. That would be a Health Concern to me Because you only have 2 fans in this cabin not even a ceiling fan. Even though it was near the road it was very quiet all night. My sister's family stayed in a cabin that was clean, quaintly furnished, and had a functional kitchen and bathroom. We stayed in one of the RV spots in our 32' motorhome and enjoyed full hookups on a pretty level gravel pad. Navigation and parking was easy. The hosts were amazing! We got in around 7:30pm and they met us, showed us around, and called ahead to alert the Alpine Grill & Still across the street we were on our way for dinner. We were able to walk to dinner and back. The cabins have been closed for awhile but were remodeled and re-opened this summer. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back when we're in the area.

Some people just are not meant to be out among us and cannot seem to find a way to fit in to society. My wife and I have stayed at this park a number of times over the last several years and found the owners to be helpful and more than willing to go out of the way to help in any circumstance. The only reason I hesitate to write a review is because it will bring more RVers and make it more difficult to find a spot when we want it but that aside this is a great park, in a great location, run by great people.

Power, water and sewer are modern and in good condition. Plenty of fishing just a few miles away. Management is available if needed and are more than helpful.
