I needed a jump for my problematic car battery that has been causing me issues for weeks now. They showed up, super quick fast in a hurry! Provided supreme service. They were very friendly, helpful and explained everything before they did it. I love to support a great local business! read more

Keith on the telephone and Patrick in person were both really helpful and kind to me. Found my car and helped a lot.

I've called this place to see where my mother's vehicle was. At first they said they had no such car there. Then after mentioning the cops they all of a sudden have it. The man on the phone was rude to myself and my mother. read more

5 stars based on the help and friendliness of over night tower, "Ken"? I believe to be his name. He did go out of his way to allow me to use his gas can to walk to the gas station a block away and also gave me a jump when my jump box died. So for that I would say this guy deserves a pay increase.. That being said.. this is not a promotion or even a 5 star review for thus stated Tow Company. Just for the Driver that was helpful. read more

Sold me a straight lemon. Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. I was misled to believe the car would be a daily driver. It broke down on the freeway. I have a 5 year old and I'm glad he wasn't riding with me at the time. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS... our beautiful unscathed car unfortunately had to get towed by "Kenny" the night shift driver. Our car was returned with a different L. front tire, and the R. Tire was dragged until the wiring showing substantial damage. From the front of the vehicles undercarriage all the way to the catalyst has been completely damaged!! My oil pan is now leaking.. I'm ashamed that this is a local business. Wow. The owner Keith told me to "Call my insurance company". This is NOT OK. I no longer feel safe in my vehicle that was previously remarkable... a car towed is expensive and stressful enough. This is just BS and No Way to do business. read more

Avoid avoid AVOID this place at all costs!!! My car was brought here and was fine before these ppl got it. As SOON as I pull out of their lot, there's a loud noise coming from my rear tires. When I say as soon as I pulled out I pulled over so I'm still directly across the street from their lot. I asked the driver Ken to come look and of course he starts saying he doesn't know how it could have happened. Yeah I bet you don't!! All I know is my car was running fine before you guys got it. So for 3 yes THREE days I had been in contact with a "manager" named "Shawn" (air quotes because every time I called and asked for "Shawn" I was told nobody by that name worked there..then he would get on the line and say "this is Shawn") weird. Anyways I had been in contact with him Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. I even emailed him a video of the noises as well. I told him I was taking it to my dad and then to a mechanic so they could try and tell what might be wrong from listening to it and driving it. For 3 days "Shawn" knew of this. He even asked me to have the mechanic call him directly!! Ok no problem. I called "Shawn" back and now all of a sudden he tells me they're not going to take responsibility for damaging my car!!! He said because I said I was taking it to my mechanic, then they won't take liability!! What?! I called him on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday each day I told him I was going to have someone look at it. On Wednesday he even asked to talk directly to the mechanic i was going to go to with my dad. "Shawn" wanted me to have THEIR mechanic look at it (who by the way is KEN who already test drove my car, heard the noise and told me that he USED to be a mechanic and he doesn't work on cars anymore and that he wasn't sure what was wrong. Hence the reason I wanted to take it to a mechanic with my father! Why would I want to take my car to be looked at by the same person who already looked at it and said he didn't know what was wrong and was more than likely the one who damaged it because he was the tow truck driver!!!! I mean come on now. Things happen. I never said it was done on purpose but my car was towed at like 1-3am so you're probably still half sleep and made a mistake. Own it! Fix it and apologize for it. What my father and i believe is that its an axle maybe 2. Not a huge cost to them with the OUTRAGEOUS prices and fees they charge ppl to get their cars back. The police were there when my car was towed so ill be requesting their body cam footage and im taking BBT to small claims court. Now, its gonna cost them more in court fees then it would had they just paid for the repairs!!! They are really shady here! Don't just take my word/review for it, do a Google search with this company name and ask if they've ever been in trouble for anything!!! You'll see a lot!!! read more

What can I say they get the job finished right and towed away. I've pretty much met each driver, each a solid individual as promised!

I needed to have my car towed to my mechanic in Daly City. I called Patrick at Big Guys Towing & he showed up within 20 minutes! Patrick is courteous, knowledgeable & professional. It made the whole experience a breeze. Thank you, Patrick! If you're in need of a tow, call "Big Guys" & tell them, "the Terminator sent you." read more

Very satisfied with Big Guys Towing. Jacob & his team mate were professional, quick & went above & beyond to assist us. Would recommend.

They only got 1 star because I couldn't select zero. They had me waiting for over 3 hrs for a tow and then said they couldn't show up

Liars. Called and said the many delays in towing my vehicle was because of the bad weather. It is currently 45 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. When that was said, the excuse was changed to "traffic". Horrible customer service and blatant liars. read more

No one looks forward to having their car towed, but to make it even worse..... The owner, worker, or whoever this guy claims to be is rude. I didn't take my frustration out on him, I didn't yell or scream. From the get- go the person who answered the phone had a nasty tone. On top of this rough start. They didn't report the tow until 6 hours after it was towed. So for 6 hours I'm thinking my car was stolen. If your car gets towed by this company I'm sorry for you. Sorry for their ignorance and rudeness. Unfortunately, companies like this will get away with it due to the nature of the business. read more

I parked my car at Home Depot in the Westlake parking lot. The security called Big Guys tow company to tow my car. I later found out that this company towed my car at 2:30 am. To preface everything.... At 4 am i went to leave and my car was gone. I called 911 to see if its been towed and they told me no one reported it as towed. So at this point my car was being reported as stolen. I went to the police station to do my report for a stolen vehicle. At 7:36 DCPD called me and told me that they just received a call from Big Guys towing and. I was at their shop at 7:57 am when the guy at the office told me i would have to pay an extra $150 for an early pickup. I asked him when they open he said 8 am. I waited the 3 minutes and saved $150. I asked the worker why they didn't report the car until 7:36 am if they towed it at 2:30 am??? They blamed it on the tow truck driver who is "new." After learning their information they still decided to charge me full price and they refused to tell me what the boss or owners name was because he was scared he would get fired if he told me. THE WORST TOW COMPANY. read more

Dicks! And they stuck a big ass paper sticker on my damn drivers side window. I could've fought the tow in court, bc nowhere did it state 4hr parking at the place I parked overnight; which is the reason they gave me as to why they towed my car, but you know that they know you wouldn't want to deal with the hassle on top of getting charged $400/day and not having your means of transportation. I was towed literally 1.5 weeks after moving into this complex, and DCPD didn't order it. Zero sympathy given. DCPD, some lawyer or the news should do something about their practices. Accelerate karma by NOT giving them your business if given the option read more

Had my car towed last night out of a private spot. I'm failing to see how is isn't theft for a towing company to trust the words of a random individual who wanted my PRIVATE spot. No verification check from the property owner so once again I'm failing to see how you didn't just assist a random person in theft. Just to attempt to charge me $485 to get my own car back. read more

Car insurance company made contact to Big Guys through my roadside assistance. Wait was long and extended several times for a total of 3 hours. Phone was not answered by Big Guys when the first 2 deadlines came and went. Driver called with attitude and kept threatening to cancel this request for service. Driver much nicer in person and tow was completed without further problem. read more

These 2 guys are almost like gangsters. They never follow regulations. They do what they can to make you pay as much as they can. Very rude. They talk to you like they own your sweet ass. When you speak to them you know these people went to prison before. Even you gave up your car, they will come after you with a debt collector. But what my friend did is just ignore all letters sent from debt collectors. Then they will eventually leave you alone. Once your car is in their yard, you will have to pay through your nose to get it back. I did use their service to drag my old car out of a ditch once. I paid $75. Not bad. But other times dealing with them my friend and I had very bad experience. read more

They tow staff at apt. complexes cars(maintenance staff) there working on more than 1 occasion, illegally. They harass staff at local shops who repeatedly ask them not to park in handicapped spots outside 711..as someone disabled trying to park in these spots I appreciate the staff who try to help ppl who live in this town with a disability use the shops & all too little disabled parking. It pisses me off to hear that they've yelled profanity (b*tch,etc..) at employees. I've heard for over a year from different ppl about this "business "& it's shady behavior. Will be contacting authorities now. As a disabled person living here for over 30 years, these clowns need to be held to account. read more

So got my bike towed because of an accident. So after the accident I came here to pick up my bike. The accident was painful but so was the $365 for towing and not even 4 hours of storage. Well at least these guys provided some help with a crowbar and help pushing my bike onto my truck. read more

Worst tow company I've ever saw!!!! I'm living 6 blocks away, and was unloading huge boxes out of my trunk just near my door on a fire lane. Closed the door of the car get in home to bring all boxes, 10 min. and my car was gone!!!!! I called them, but service was very rude, just told me where to go and hang up. 10 min later I was waiting for the owner near the gates for 30 min.!!!!!!! When he came, he even didn't give an estimate papers!!!! Just told me if I don't want to pay he'll go away!!!! He was very rude, no explanations at all! After 5 min arguing he called a cops!!! All that time he even didn't open gates, I was standing at the street. As a final cops advised me to pay, TOTAL 455$ Never use this company and especially their truck drivers, if you don't want to pay really a lot and get for that worst service ever! It's hard for me to give five stars to any tow place just because when you deal with them it's not always in the best circumstances, however if you own a car you cannot live without them. Anyway, they did their job. Why I gave them a 4 star rating? The owner was understanding and logical.. he gave me a fair deal for his services. For this, I am thankful. read more

Scammy business. Towed my car and didn't report it to the police (which is required by law). No one had records of my car and we thought it was stolen. Police recommended that we file a stolen vehicle report because it is "highly unusual and improbable" that a towing wouldn't contact them because every tow company knows to do this. They ended up reporting it two days later, and claimed they had faxed the a report. Police records department said they never received a fax. Now, the towing company charges by the day, so its pretty clear that they were just trying to hold on the to vehicle longer. I told them that not reporting the tow is illegal and that I didn't have to pay (and that the law states they owe me up to 3x the fees). They claimed I needed to pay for one day. read more
