I want to make this clear. The young men who came to pack and move me, (I'm 73 and handicapped)…read morewere very polite and did the best they knew how to do, except for leaving a big pile of pooh in the toilet without flushing it. That was unpleasant. The rest of this is about the company and the training these young men did not receive. They arrived around 10 am and I showed them the small apt that needed to be packed. Packing should have only taken about 3-4 hours, except they had not received any training in working smart rather than hard. They did work very hard, but they did not know what they were doing. My impression was that they had not moved anyone before and did not know how to pack boxes, or even to put pictures and other wall accessories into boxes. Being in a power chair, I thought it best to stay out of their way, so I was very surprised when it ended up taking them until 4:30 to get the truck packed. They grabbed supper and we headed out to the new place where they unloaded and were done by 7:00. I watched them carry in paintings and other pictures, wall accessories, 2 at a time as well as other items not boxed. They worked very hard, and I give them an A for effort except for a couple of things. #1) They left a cupboard and a drawer untouched, and left items in drawers and on shelves as well as scattered around the apt. I had to pay someone else to pack up the remaining items. #2) They left the toilet full of poo, and when I returned the next day, it surely did smell. I give the company an F. My charges were high, and to top it all off, I received a call this am telling me I owed them for another half hour. I told the woman I would call back, but she wasn't in this pm so I left a message. We'll see how this plays out, but there's no way I'm paying them another dime. I don't mind paying big bucks for a job well done; but the lack of training, sending me 2 inexperienced young men without an experienced person to advise them and help them, is not the way to earn a big fee. I am VERY SORRY I CALLED THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYONE IN THE FUTURE. I certainly would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN if I am unfortunate enough to have to move again. There are several other moving companies locally who I'm sure would do a much better job without overcharging for their service. BE SURE TO CHECK AROUND BEFORE YOU SIGN ON. I have not yet had the opportunity to unpack as I'm still waiting for the inspection on my home, so I don't know what I'll find when I open the boxes. While this posting has placed me in San Francisco, and while I'd love to live there, this move was from Ft Walton Beach, FL. to Navarre, FL, about a 20 minute drive up the coast.

I am a 65 year old disabled woman. When I called them to move us a person came out and went over…read morethe place and marked a list of what needed packed and moved. That was 3 months before we moved. I called several times for them to send me out boxes to hang my clothes. Never got those. She gave us a estimate of what it would cost. Between I think 1300 to a little over 1500. The day the move came the three men that came to move us wasn't aware of all they had to do. Even one of them said the paper she had was 3 months old. They didn't know they had packing to do also. They didn't bring enough supplies for the move. Had to get I think he was the manager to bring more supplies out. All this took more time. They were moving I think until 8 or 9 that night. The guys were wore out and tired . So by the time they got to our new place they just put things anywhere they could. They put things in my closet that I can't even get to still. Also my sister's closet is the same. Crammed in any way they could get it. They never ask me where I wanted things except my bed. They put my dresser in the wrong place and it's real heavy can't be moved now. Things that supposed to go in the living room is in my bedroom crammed in a corner. I can't get it out. They put the boxes in the livingroom and they have been hard to move and get in them. The guys did the best they could of what they had to work with. They didn't know they had to pack things. They weren't told by the person there was some packing to be done. My whole place is a mess. So I called and spoke to the manager in Mobile her name is Amanda. She called me back and I told her what went on and she said she would be out that Monday to fix things and move things that needed to be moved. She never called or showed up. So I called back later in the week asking to speak to her and they gave me excuses that she was on the phone . So I left a message for her to call. She has never called me back. They left my place in a mess. Also they said they had to charge me more because of the hours spent. About close to 900.00 more. So we ended up paying around 2300.00 for the move. It wasn't my fault they didn't get the correct information on my move. It is their fault for the extra hours, but I had to pay for it. They have not treated me right. Not coming out when she said and not calling me back at all. They just didn't care. They got their money and left. Is this how you treat your customers? I will never recommend your company to move anyone I know. And I will never get you to move me again if I have to. You should do better than this. My sister and I are just 2 older women and we needed your help to move. The girl told me before the move that I didn't need to worry about anything that they would take care of everything. They didn't. So I will sum it up. I have been very disappointed with this whole move and how I have been treated. This is my experience with Two men in a truck. Paula Gregory

I loved how they respect not only the customers but also each other! I WILL be calling them for my next move! I had a small overcharge, and Darryl made a decision to make it RIGHT! RUN. Do not use this moving company…read more The manager, Brian, sent two movers to help my mom move her furniture, and I was absolutely baffled by the attitude and treatment they gave her. My mom's beautiful furniture was damaged and thrown into the garage in a hurry. Before they even started moving, they argued with my mom about paying $180 per hour upfront. My mother eventually called me crying. Two men arrived, apparently decided the job was going to take too long, and then began slinging and throwing her belongings right in front of her. What kind of treatment and customer service is that? When my mom asked about the damaged furniture, she was simply told to call the claims department. This is heartbreaking. My mom is now left with her beautiful, new furniture damaged inside her home, with additional belongings sitting damaged in her garage, and she is left not knowing what to do next. There was no compassion, no accountability, and no sense of care for how this experience affected my mother. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. RUN!
