We were set for a move on Friday, July 31. 2 trucks, 5 workers. No one showed. Guy on the phone promised they'd move us on the following day. They arrived the next day, with only 1 truck and 4 workers and couldn't load all our furniture. Promised to return the day after that, which was a Sunday, and would arrive "between 8 and 9." True to their word, they did arrive on Sunday, but at 4 p.m. Movers did move my furniture to my new address, finally. But on Monday I received a text message asking why I had NOT chosen All My Sons to move my household goods. NFI. All in all, the actual movers were fine, but the company must be run by the Three Stooges. read more

Manager then calls saying 'they were afraid' because I have dogs...dogs they were playing with at the house! 2nd crew is sent from.pensacola. they were more professional, but despite going over all items packed, # boxes, looking at furniture being moved THE TRUCK WAS TOO LITTLE! I do not recommend booking with this company. I was given a price upfront without receiving a formal contract, which I now realize was a mistake on my part. On the day of the move, the total came to $1,400 based on an estimate. I was told I would receive a refund since the job finished earlier than expected (around 4 PM), and the agreed refund amount was $315. One of the employees even confirmed that this was documented on their end. It has now been 20 days, and despite contacting multiple representatives within the company, I have not received any updates or resolution. The lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating. Additionally, there were several scratches and damages to the walls of my brand-new home, which was very disappointing. As a teacher, I am mindful about where I spend my money, and I expect honesty and professionalism from the companies I work with. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those values. All My Sons didn't just drop the ball -- they launched it into orbit. We booked SIX weeks ahead, got multiple confirmations, and then the morning of our move they simply didn't show up. No call, no apology, not even the bare minimum courtesy you'd expect from a professional company. We had to call them to find out they'd bailed, and the response was basically, "Yeah, we're not coming. Tough luck." This is the kind of negligence that wrecks people's plans. Hired them for a move on 4/27...worst move imaginable. They broke one of my wife's lamps and hid it from us. They apparently stole my son's basketball goal. I say apparently because they won't respond to me to let me know what they did with it. I was never contacted on move day by a service manager to ensure a quality experience. The movers told me a second truck load wasn't covered under our agreement even though I pay them by the hour regardless of truckloads. They left packing materials behind in the house that we had to clean out. After filing a claim that was denied, I've enlisted the help of the BBB and the AL Attorney General's office. I'm hopeful that this will lead to some reasonable resolution, however I'm also realistic that this company is run by con artists and will never take responsibility for their actions. Don't let the same thing happen to you. This company is really a scam. They will try to insist on charging to a debit card instead of a credit card so you can't fight them as easily and so they have direct money to your checking account or savings account. Fortunately, I don't have a debit card so they had no choice but to accept my credit card . Their quotes are meaningless. they will overcharge you in dollars per hour, they will charge you for time that they were not on site, they are Masters at being scammers. They will send too few people for the job so that the job takes longer so that they can then charge you time and a half overtime. This is their business model. I called them and told them they need to make it right or they will deal with my credit card company. Then they said we'll just deal with your credit card company. I cannot stress enough that you should not trust a word from these people. Karma has great plans for this company. They added a 3rd person the night before to make things "faster" 3. The fast guy called in btw...so I was given the slowest guy that made "every body slower" 4. Took twice as long as planned so they raised the price 500 PERCENT TO 2600. 5. Tried to discuss with mgmt who talked to me like dirt. Then threatened to keep my stuff and told the movers to lock up my things in their truck, and just take back to their office where they would charge me rent daily. I called the police 6. So at 5pm on a Friday had to pay to have mine and my kids things unloaded 7. Broke several things, no apology, still 5 days later there is no invoice. 8. They were told they had 10 hours to handle the move. They took their time, no one ever told me that this was a 10 hour job and never received and updated quote. This company will low ball you, then once they have all your belongings, raise the price exorbitantly, then squeeze the money they want out of you, all why they talk to you like dirt. At one time the manager actually said I was stealing from them. His name is Colton. He is the manager of the Pensacola office. I negotiated with them and the lowest they got it was $1500 which is still outrageous. Why would i want movers from mobile if im moving from pensacola to pensacola? They are literal thieves. I solicited quotes from a few different companies and eventually decided to move forward with All My Sons out of Mobile Al. Let me tell you, they did a fantastic job through a long and sometimes frustrating day. Mike walked me through the process and how the move would be based on weight, and let me tell you there were no hidden surprises. The team sent to help us move was professional and very good at what they do. They were respectful of some of my dads older furnishings and very careful through the load in and load out process. MOBILE, AL: Provided a lowball quote. The movers were late (my husband made plans to be available for the move, but because they were late, he was not able to be there for me. Movers sat in my home and smoked in my home when they were supposed to be loading trucks (we are not smokers). When they finally loaded the truck for a LOCAL move, they drove right past our new neighborhood so we were again, waiting on them. Michael demanded 3X what was quoted- or refused to unlock the truck and move the items into my new home. I ended up moving MOST items off the truck myself with my teenaged daughters. Michael called me a liar when I expressed my concern and quoted several made-up laws (he clearly didn't make it through law school). Thieves and fraudulent practices run this company. BEWARE. Better Business Bureau has been contacted, and all charges are in dispute as I have yet to receive an itemized receipt. I was emphatic that I could not pay more than $250 because I was donating furniture to a nonprofit and paying myself for the move. I had already secured that price from another company though they had not called to verify they could do it the day I needed this. Mike from All My Sons called and was given the information about what needed to be moved and I was not willing to pay more than $250. He said he could do $248 and schedule immediately for the day and time I needed. I secured with a $50 deposit. The crew showed up on time, speedily had me sign the contract on the IPad and began the move. They damaged the walls of the staircase, took a gouge out of the wood from the front door and later when pulling away took out the wrought iron mailbox required by our POA that will cost us $425. The worst was that when they were leaving to take the items to the nonprofit charity, they tried to charge me $1210. I refused to pay this so after a not so pleasant exchange with Mike on the speaker phone with this driver and myself I told them to unload the truck. When we got off the phone, the driver said he would get it to the nonprofit so taking an additional $170 cash which was all I had on hand, he left with the furniture. It was never delivered. They got $210 and my furniture. The nonprofit got nothing. I felt this was a scam, I was told $248, they wanted $1210 and I lost my donated furniture. read more

I wish these REAL reviews ews were attached to the website and not just the ones the company liked. I was given a quote from Ryan. I asked why their per hour rate was so much higher than others. He said it includes the truck, the two men and ALL materials for the move. When the movers arrived there were two men, but ONE dolly. This slowed them down quite a bit and was odd for a moving business. When I moved in, i had MORE things. I had two men who had to go UP THE stairs. It took them about 1 hour to load the truck and 2.5 hours to unload and bring things up the stairs. They only had one dolly but I offered to rent two. One of the gentlemen was in his late 50s and the other one in his mid 30s. When Ryan gave an estimate of 3.5 hours to load and unload I had no reason to doubt the estimate. The movers were two young guys. I didnt see much of Patrick beyond introducing himself . I heard him downstairs talking on the phone. The first thing I heard him say about the move there was only 1 dolly and that was going to slow him down. The first thing Mike said was that I didnt have much and it wouldn't take long. He would stack 3 boxes and carry them down when Patrick had the dolly. When we got to the other side and it was time to pay, Michael, the Operations Manager told me the total was almost $1000. He said the labor would be 7.5 hours and materials would be $200. I told him Ryan said the materials were included. He said I was a liar. I asked him to speak to Ryan. He said Ryan worked for the call center and he would not be able to reach him, plus, he would lie making it impossible for Michael to know which liar to believe. Ultimately Michael took off the materials saying in Alabama he could not refund anything anything else. Though I noticed in a google review this was done. He never apologized for calling me a liar. After the guys left, keep in mind I was working alongside them the entire move, I noticed some things were missing. This was Tuesday. Patrick said he would bring my things and replace the broken wheel on my chair. He asked if Friday was ok because he was very busy. I said ok. I did not hear from him and he didn't call or text. I called his phone multiple times wving messages. I reached him the following Monday. He said he would be there on Tuesday. Again he did not call or come. I texted him that I received a link to review the move and I would include those things if not received by the end of the day. He began to text that his father had recently died. Then said he worked 2.5 jobs and had three kids. Then he added that the youngest one of his kids has ancer. I have no way to know if that is true. I did offer my condolences. I still never received my things. I called customer service and spoke to Jordan. He said to call back the next day to speak to the Operations Manager. After finally getting connected to the operations Manager it was Michael. He said he would get Patrick to bring the things and send me a claims form. I don't have any form, but Patrick put one item by the door to the building and left it outside. I would NEVER use these guys or recommend them. Which is worse? The most disrespectful people. Literally damaged all my doorframes put a dent in the wall of the rental I was moving out of and didn't say anything as they were leaving to head up to my new house. Left all my stuff on the side of the road. After yelling at my grandmother because she asked them to organize the boxes a little nicer, this was after my mother asked them countless times to please organize the boxes in one room, smoked weed in my driveway then proceeded to speed on the freeway, didn't wrap my TVs even though they had their own moving blankets. We moved from Mobile to Spanish fort recently and had 2 options for moving companies. We chose All my Sons and in the weeks prior to moving they were amazing on communication, video walk-through, and explaining the process. Our experience truly started the week of the move. We were told they had no idea what they were moving, even though we completed a video walk-through. Then the day before the move their truck broke down and our Friday move was pushed to Saturday, to only move us back to Friday a few hours later. Our move was to consist of a truck and a 4 man crew. Not only were they an hour late, they showed up with 3 people and not 4. Once the crew was in our office all three asked the same question which was "are we moving all of this." This was a standard 4 room office with desk and chairs, small fridge, small printer, picture frames, etc. Since the billing was by the hour, this crew did not come with any tools or a floor dolly. They arrived with only an industrial dolly and it took over 5.5 hours to load the truck. There was another 45 min to arrive at the new location, and 3 more hours to unload the truck. We started at 11:30am and finished at 8:45pm. The crew had verbal arguments multiple times in our presence, had arguments with the manager that we dealt with before the move, complained the truck had a flat tire and couldn't unload due to safety reasons, and again, had no floor dolly to move furniture effectively around corners. This whole process should have taken 5-6 hours and instead it was an all day event. Also, keep in mind that we helped move all the boxes into each office to speed up this entire process. Then the kicker was at the end, they wanted a tip. My review of this whole process was AWFUL. read more

HORRIBLE. It was supposed to be a simple move of just over 2 miles. We boxed everything except the large, heavy items. They sent two kids who had less than 3-weeks experience between them. The kids didn't know how to operate the tablet, so I never got a copy of the contract. They didn't have supplies (no cover for the Sleep Number Bed); it took them a billable hour to "wrap" it only to have the bubble wrap fall off as the slid the bed across the floor. They dropped the couch and bent the frame. They dropped my stereo receiver; now some of the inputs and outputs no longer worked. They damaged the door to my wife's new washer and dryer set. The list goes on. I completed and sent the claim form to the local manager (who is no longer with the company), per his request. It was somehow lost. Corporate lost track of my claim--which doesn't do a lot for their commitment to quality of service. Now, almost a year later, without a contract I have little or no recourse and just accept the thousands of dollars of loss. It isn't worth the effort to deal with them. I can't believe I paid a company $1000 to put me through such grief and destroy or damage a lot of my furniture. The truck they sent initially was too small, and would not hold all my furniture. The crew who moved me refused to take anything upstairs and left everything downstairs in my kitchen and living room. It seems like the leader of the crew got upset when I started taking pictures of how badly they were packing stuff in the truck. I knew stuff was going to get damaged and I told him, but he would not listen. They actually turned my dining room table, facedown on the floor of the truck with nothing under it and then packed furniture on top of it. Needless to say, the butterfly leaf on my table is destroyed as well as the top of my table. When we got to the new place, they refused to unload the truck without me paying the balance for the move. And they told me they would drive off with all my furniture if I didn't sign their tablet. I called the supervisor and he told me that I wouldn't have to pay for the second truck to get the rest of my furniture moved, but I did. The first crew also charged me for $200 in supplies they did not use. I requested two or three times to have that money returned, and they still have not returned it. They had to get a second truck out here to finish moving my furniture from the first apartment and that crew did a very good job. They had to move everything upstairs but I still had to pay another $400 for it. However, in all fairness, the company did reimburse me that part of the money. I wish they would give me the $200 in supplies that they charge me for that they didn't use. Pretty much everything I own is damaged in some way; gouges in wood furniture, they totally destroyed a metal desk, a hole in the back of my nightstand. As well as the top, being all, scratched up. Expensive picture frames that were damaged that I now have to pay someone to fix, every piece of furniture that I own was damaged in some way, shape or form. They gave me $400 but that doesn't even begin to cover the damage. I'm 67 years old. My furniture was in good shape, and I was planning to live out the rest of my life with it, but now it's all damaged or broken. If you should decide to use them, I certainly hope you have better luck. I'm very disappointed to say the least. read more

Drug furniture across the floors, which scratched hardwood floors in the unit we moved out of and our new home. Lazy and unprofessional movers. Loaded glass and fragile items without wrapping them in anything.
