(At least it was pleasant outside and we enjoyed strolling up and down the marina checking out all the boats while we were waiting.) Once we were finally seated, everything was fine. Our server greeted us promptly. Drinks were delivered shortly after we placed our order and the food came to the table not long after that. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. Compared to BBQ brisket I've had elsewhere I'd give it a six out of ten, not bad but far from the best (but I really didn't expect a place in Sheboygan to top places in Kansas City or Memphis for example). I sampled all their sauces (none of which wowed me) before settling on one that brought a touch of heat to the palate. There were other items I didn't try, but what I did have was mediocre at best. The meat ball appetizer was the best. This could have been my meal.

Robert the pitmaster is lovely gentleman with a great heart and passion for his food. If I lived here, I would eat here every week. You can taste when you eat something that has been made with love.
