I think he officially has more shoes in the closet than I do. My son could care less about shoes. He only has what he absolutely needs to have. On our most recent trip, we found many options, but not in the size/color that was desired. FF turns this disappointment around with their shipping option. We've done it twice now. If they don't have the size/color that you want, they will ship it to you for free! I love this!! Within a week, a package shows up and there is no more running back and forth to the store because I already know that I like the shoe and just needed another variation. As a side note, this store is really clean. I never find shoes out of place or little footie socks lying around. I think the staff deserve a little kudos for staying on top of things.

I stopped in over the holidays recently with a pair of Timberland boots that I had purchased only a few months earlier. The sole of the shoe had begun to come apart, and as you can imagine, I was not pleased with my over $150.00 purchase. I had been in the store no more than a couple of minutes when an associate (Danielle M., if I got that wrong I apologize) approached me and asked if she could be of any assistance. I explained my situation and that I was shopping for new shoes when she told me "let us look up your receipt and exchange them." In less than ten minutes, I had a new pair of the same shoes on my feet as I walked out of the store and was given the difference in taxes from Chicago to Algonquin so I could purchase a cleaning kit for them. She even sprayed my boots with water repellent before I left the store. Simply put, Danielle went above and beyond to make sure I was not only happy but got value for the money I spent. I am a DSW customer for life now! Loyalty, respect for me and my hard earned dollars goes a long way in my book, and I will never shop anywhere else for shoes again. Remembered me from a year and a half ago and helped me big time. Found jeans that were an even better fit. Understood what I needed and because I am on a weight loss program found me similar jeans that were on sale! I was in and out and able to try them on in less than 30 min.
