We loved our brisket sandwich & will definitely be back. This place has been here for years & I have no idea how come we've never tried it! You place your order & get a buzzer. There are several tables behind to eat outside.

Doug and Dusty a heckuva job. As I walk past a little container, smokehouse, I realized that it had to be a great place because the line was long. I stopped a couple people that were locals and they told me that it was incredible!.. On my way back from the visitor the line was still long, I patiently waited, I ordered a half chicken. I usually never order chicken. I'll tell you what, on my way back to town, l have to tell you how much I loved eating the chicken and I think I even ate some chicken bones, LOL. The smoke flavor was incredible while the chicken was so moist and tender. When I picked up my order, I told Doug and Dusty that I better enjoy their food. I went back to tell them that I did and there was a sign saying that they sold out. I realize they had just gotten another smoker delivered. So of course I had to help them get it assembled, LOL. They had a couple other fellows that we're helping them to get the smoker in place but I didn't get their names. They do you have picnic tables that you could sit down and eat your food but I was on a self-guided tour of the town. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. DOUG WHAT KIND OF WOOD DO YOU USE? I WOULD RECOMMEND.

Reminds me of central TeXas brisket, and that says a lot. Your charro beans were terrific, too. Thanks, guys!

No Becker ribs anywhere on the planet. Expect to pay a reasonable high price for this quality.

Thus, when we got to Poncha Springs and suddenly had 4G again, we chose the first food truck listed on Yelp. We did not know what to expect from a rural food truck with only 3.5 stars at the time of our visit, but our growling bellies demanded that we risk it. OMG are we ever glad we did! Combine that everybody-knows-your-name feel of your local dive-bar, with the earnestly eclectic comfort of your favorite independent coffee house, then hide that under a wooden carport, and you will have the vaguest impression of the dining room. An order window faces into the humbly hip dining room, and a bright white sign, looking for all the world  like an oversized tri-fold pamphlet displays the menu.  I know exactly what I want from the pictures on Yelp, but I have trouble finding it. Turns out that if you want fried shrimp and sweet potato waffle-fries, that's just the Shrimp Basket with a substitution. Those sweet potato fries are pretty darn amazing, though, and the shrimp are some of the best ive had this far from an ocean. Raz went for the Cajun Pork plate. I was astounded at the slow burn of the spicing, and the absolute perfection of the succulent meat. The absolute star of the whole experience, however, was his side of spicy ranch-style beans. They were savory, smoky, spicy, and had almost none of the sweetness I generally associate with bbq beans. Thus, they were the perfect pintos, and I would be willing to make the half-day drive back here just for them. This place is an absolute diamond-in-the-rough, and worth every one of the 5 stars I'm giving.

I ordered the brisket tacos without the jalapeño cheese sauce. I'm happy I did since the brisket literally melted on my tongue. A last minute add on was bake beans which were a Smokey flavor. Happy I stopped and enjoyed the food! Recommend stopping for the food and service!

Everything was delicious! I've had a few sandwiches from BWBBQ (and have nothing but good things to…read moresay!), but this review is about their catering. Tracy was super flexible - we changed the order up a few times and helped us decide exactly what we needed for our little party, and I also picked it up earlier than planned. No problems! The food was packed cleanly and efficiently, and there was no problem getting it home without spilling a gallon of baked beans in my Subaru. We had pulled pork, a specialty of the house, and the usual suspects for sides. They provide three different sauces from three distinct regions, which is great. A bunch of our guests were from Saint Louis, so the KC style sauce went fast. I'm partial to the mustard sauce because it is so unusual to find in this part of the country. They're all good. People also really liked the slaw. Everybody had a great time - but maybe ate a little too much! These guys are from GA, and know their way around a smoker. I will definitely be doing this again. Thanks!
