Mike's provided an accurate and I think fair estimate for the repair and promptly completed the work. Good- Been two days now and no more coolant leaks. Questionable- When I picked the truck up at Mike's I noticed a clicking noise soon after starting the engine. I went back into the office but it went away before Mike and I got back out to the truck. I have noticed that same new noise once more since I got the truck home. If it persists I plan to take it back in.

With my crazy thinking of beating the odds, I told James I'll make it. Guess what - I made it to the gas station 5 miles away before the car started over heating. Now, I am really stuck with an overheated car -I am so far away from Boston, and over 230 miles away from Orlando also very low on money. Long story short, I made a call to James and he heard how stuck I am - he said: "If you can get the car over here we can try to fix it" - For the first time AAA was able to tow the car, and James was able to fix it. You must know this: You are dealing with a team that knows cars better than any dealership, or any box car store repaired place - these guys knowledge run circles around any dealership -- Just ask any one on the team to show you there tool box, and get ready to be amazed. I can tell you they work hard and they get the job done right. They are beyond fair with the price for the work you are getting done. NO ONE CAN do what they do - I will stand on that, and I can bet you that you will never go anywhere else for service. The only thing I can say bad about this place is the outside - It not fancy with flowers and glass doors like a Toyota service place or a Pepboys, or Goodyear - but if you can overlook that, and remember what you are there for -Fix your car or truck --This is the one place I trust 100%......

They were actually HALF the cost of the dealer price. I had the appointment made with the dealer already but when I found Vu's on Yelp and called and got an estimated from Vu's (after taking it to them in person) I immediately called the dealer back and canceled!!! So glad I found Vu's Automotive! I will definitely be using them in the future for my wife's Beetle! Vu's specializes in these types of cars (foreign) and he was very knowledgeable about them! Incompetent Con Artists…read more. I brought my 2009 528i to S&S for a full diagnostic. Courtney asked if I was having a specific problem. I said yes, I hear knowing when I turn right and the car was over heating. I asked her if the diagnostic included inside and outside of the car. Courtney said yes. Their mechanic did NOT look at the exterior OR interior of my car. He only looked at the specific problem I came in for and did no analysis of his own. They charged me $100 dollars for an inspection that they did not complete. Just by looking at my car you can see two chips in my windshield, chips in the paint, both headlamps need repairs, the bottom right lamp is broken and MISSING, my tires were worn due to suspension misalignment, my front right tire was bald on the inside causing a slow leak and one of my other tires was bare to the point where you could see the WIRES inside. None of this is reflected on inspection sheet. If he would have inspected the inside of my car he would have known that my sunroof does not close, the horn is damaged with dent in it, the navigation in my vehicle does not work, my windshield wiper fluid reservoir has a leak, the navigation dvd is stuck inside the cd player, the air conditioning goes on and off on its own, my air filter hasn't been changed in at least 3 years. On my inspection sheet, the mechanic, Paul Kirk marked all of these issues as checked and ok. Since he never inspected the car for himself and only looked at what I brought to Courtney's attention the analysis was completely incorrect. He states, "the vehicle looks as if maybe it was towed recently. Tow truck driver grabbed the sway bar broke the sway bar mount off of the subframe." In the 4 years that I have owned this car it has never been towed for any reason. These people blatantly lied about inspecting my vehicle and estimated $3500 in repairs. I agreed to two repairs and they charged me almost $1000 for work that did NOT solve the problem. My car kept overheating after I paid them $920.24. I came back and expressed my discontent. They wanted to charge me ANOTHER $100 just to look at the car again. I told them I would not pay another $100 because they did not fulfill their end of the initial agreement to fully inspect the car. Courtney's reasoning verbatim was, "we don't look at the fine details." I would never advise anyone to do business with these people and I am considering legal options. I decided to take my vehicle to Tom Bush's BMW dealership in orange park. Because they did a full inspection of my car they were able to tell me how the damage occurred and the proper repairs needed. They also provided a video of their inspection.
