I've been to this location several times and can't recommend them enough. They consistently go above and beyond. Most importantly, they're honest. I was quoted a price for CV joints, but when the parts came in, Andrew called to let me know he had found them cheaper and was adjusting the price down. Who does that? Most places would've pocketed the difference as profit. I really appreciate that kind of integrity. They're also thorough when it comes to spotting issues. You might think they're just trying to upsell--but the concerns they pointed out were for things they don't even work on. That says a lot. This incident occurred at the BRAKES FOR LESS on Atlantic Blvd. Went in for basic brake PACKAGE . I received a call that I needed front rotors. I asked how much and they told me. When I looked at my receipt, I had only front brakes and rotors and they gave me premium brakes INSTEAD OF WHAT I ASKED FOR, which was the basic package.When I asked why I did not get the package which includes front and rear brakes. They told me I did not need rear brakes. But that is what the package price is for. Front and rear brakes. I called customer service, and asked to speak to a supervisor. I am still waiting on that call. Going on a month now. I don't know if this is a company wide thing, but I personally would not recommend BRAKES FOR LESS for your brake service. they have three packages which front and brakes. If you don't need the rear brakes, then the price should be less. If you're going to charge me the same price, then install the brake PACKAGE AS STATED! $500 for FRONT brakes and rotors ???????? read more

I wish I could give a negative 1000. I made an appointment on November 3rd at 8 am. I called their 1-888 number as no one was there at 8 am. Someone came at 8:16am. I was advised that I needed new brake pads and rotors. I advised I wanted to proceed. I paid $636.94. Shortly after, I heard some noises. I eventually went back on November 24th. They drove my car, saying the brakes were working as intended. I made an appointment and came back on December 1st. I left and still heard the same noises. I tried somewhere else. On December 7th, I went to a dealership that took a look at my brakes. Thanks to Brakes 4 less, who quote unquote guarantees quality pads put cheap pads on my car. The pads messed up my rotors. I had to spend additional money that i was not prepared to spend to fix their mess up. I spent $668.64 for the rear pads and rotors. I have to go back for the front. Brakes 4 less provided a horrible service, and I will never go back. This is ridiculous. I will work to get my money back. read more

This chain Buisness is horrible! Traveling from NC to Florida I noticed brake noise so I pulled into brakes 4 less in Brunswick Ga. After the repair and back on the road, I noticed my caliper covers we're making a lot of noise so when I got back to NC, I found a hole in the wall Brakes 4 less to fix what was wrong. He said they don't do brakes with caliper covers and to call the Mgr in Jacksonville Fla. I explained what the issue was and that I wanted my truck back the same way as when I brought it in. This beanhead Mgr said they are not fixing or reimbursing the repair, so my recommendation is do not use this worthless company read more

I went to a different store first to get an idea of a price to fix my brakes. My quote was over $600.. so I decided to get another opinion here at Brakes 4 Less. The manager took me and showed me what was wrong with my car. He then gave me a couple options. They did 4 wheels brakes and changed my rotors all for only $288.16!! Wayy cheaper than I expected. Also it came with a great warranty. They fixed it fast and did a great job.. didn't try to trick me or sell me stuff I didn't need. I would recommend coming here. read more

Exactly what I like to see from a business in auto repair. I took my wife's car in because she was hearing an occasional squeak when applying her breaks. I was able to get an appointment immediately and upon arriving they had the tires off checking the breaks conducting a complimentary break check. I shortly got a call back stating the breaks were still in good shape and did not need to be replaced at this time. I am grateful for them not trying to sell me breaks when I did not need them and will be going back to them when the breaks finally do need to be replaced. read more

I called and specifically explained everything I needed. They gave me a price of 269. I got to the store at my scheduled appointment time and they changed the price to over 700. I called to complain and the supervisor at the corporate office stated I could take my business elsewhere because they were not going to fix the issue and did not care about my business. I stated I would rather pay more somewhere else and receive excellent customer service, than the way this supervisor (Dextor) treated me. I went here today to get my brakes looked at, and I was fed the hugest line of bull that I have ever heard. They said that my master cylinder has a leak and that the reservoir was completely empty. First of all, it was COMPLETLY FULL they didn't even bother to remove the cap. Second, they told me that the bolts were fallen out of my front passenger caliper, when I checked, the bolts were there and even the plastic caps that cover the bolts were there still, so they didn't even look at that. They then proceeded to tell me that all together it would cost me over a thousand dollars. for things they claimed were wrong but were COMPLETLY FALSE! How many other people have gone there and believed their lies and were actually dumb enough to believe them and pay outrageous prices for FALSE CLAIMS?!! I have never before in my life thought they would try to do such thing. Good thing I am intelligent enough to know he was stupid. Went and got my brakes done two weeks ago. My car brakes were making a whistling sound. What was supposed to be a 139 brake job turned into a 500 dollar job. I came here to get my drum brakes repaired, at first the repair was great then a week later my brakes started squealing I take it back and they say they can't replicate it and that it's normal. I end up going somewhere else to find out that the drum set was completely scored and I had to replace all the hardware and drums. I would not recommend Brakes 4 less. read more

I took my car there to get my brakes changed. I noticed some squeaking sounds coming from the brakes. I asked my friend who scheduled the appointment for me. He said give it a few days sometimes new brakes will do that. It was still squeaking at two weeks so my friend scheduled an appointment with Dennis the manager. When I took it in Dennis was immediately rude to me because the appointment was in my friends name just as the initial appointment since he was paying for it. Then the whole time I was telling him about the squeaking he thought I should absolutely know which brake it is and exactly when it squeaked. When I told him it squeaks at random times and I'm not sure which brakes he gave me a look like I was crazy. When he took my keys and his guy drove it around for maybe 5 min he came back in the office "I'm not saying you don't hear anything but my guy drove it and didn't hear anything he drove it on the highway and everything, when it's squeaking you should drive it straight here" he has this condescending tone since I walked in the office. I got back in my car drove off and a bit down the road and the squeaking is there. I called my friend and told him all about it and how he made me feel stupid for not knowing which brake he let me know when he gets back into town in a few days he will take it back. We take it back my friend rides around with the mechanic and when he gets back I asked what happened he said it squeaked every time the dude pressed the brakes. They immediately put my car in the garage and started working on it. I had to get to a meeting and we left my car there. My meeting was 4-6 the place closes at 6. I went around 7 just seeing if they left my keys somewhere with my car. When I got there my car was unlocked so I looked all the way through it and on around the outside of my car no keys. And there was a tool left inside. I'm happy I checked because at least I got to lock my car doors for the night. My Boss took me home and of course realized I don't have my house keys. So what a stressful night for me and then I called my friend and he got a hotel since I didn't have a place to stay. In the AM my friend called Dennis he got reimbursed for hotel and told him his guy was suppose to leave the keys with the car but didn't. When I got there to get the car i walked in the office Dennis just handed me the keys with no words for me. Not an I am so sorry. Yes my friend paid for it and ultimately was the reason they fixed it but one it shouldn't have got that far. I was there twice with my child. Had to leave my car there twice was there three times and he didn't even apologize to me I don't know what he said to my friend but it was my car. Not my friends it was my house I couldn't get into. It was me not being able to get new work clothes. I will never ever even consider going to any brakes 4 less. I did say did your guys get the tool they left on my passenger side floor. The actual work that they do is good, but this review is for the service aspect. The sign and building is hidden so you are more than likely to drive right past it or worse, cause a traffic jam to make a last minute turn once the sign sneaks up on you. There is a parking lot in the back and only one way in and out so be careful when driving in there. Walking up to the front door, there is a steep hill and a very tiny lobby. The manager is nice, but their system is very outdated. Once you have an inspection, he uses a catalog book to give you a quote on a SCRAP PIECE OF PAPER. Nothing official, or on letterhead, or anything legitimate. I would have expected something more from a chain. Then, when I came back for service the next day, the guy forgot what I was getting done so they had to do another inspection to remember. The bright side is they had a better price than their competitors and was done within 2 hours. Interesting enough, customer service did reach out to me for a survey and I told them this, but did not have a reply besides 'thank you for your time.' read more

Garbage! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy in the world. Part1 Ford Explorer older model went in for brakes and since a later model went ahead for all 4 brakes. OK, went home then next day front right side froze up while driving luckily put emergency brake on and went directly back to shop. Then had them put master reservoir in place only to have brakes squeak continually after that. Went to another location from the Atlantic store to the Beach Blvd. Store there went and they just sprayed the brakes down and sent me on my way. The mechanic literally said to me: they will make less noise now. Then he said : O they overfilled the brake reservoir and you may need your brake lines done so come back and see us for that. So, after 4 trips to two different stores in less than a year I am NEVER going back to this moronic mechanic place again. While trying to get through to a manager it took two days before anyone got back in touch with me. After finally threatening a law suit the manager agreed to meet up with today. At this point instead of doing simple brake lines and brake job I am out over 800 dollars and brakes that still don't work. Don't ANYONE ever go here. I would not recommend them to fix a go cart. read more
