We've now had no intercom or buzzer service for 3 weeks, since the exterior Acuvox unit failed. Douglas removed the unit and said he was requesting a warranty replacement, but he failed to keep 2 appointments and now has ghosted entirely--he doesn't respond to repeated text/email/phone queries from either us or from Acuvox (who we asked to intervene). Even prior to this, he had been absolutely infuriating with regard to responding to calls and texts or keeping appointments. The stuff he puts up about quality service and satisfaction is simply meaningless boasting. This is not a business-like business or run according to professional standards. We would not hire him again--probably no one should--and have asked Akuvox, the maker of our equipment to help us find another installer. Update: Here's what we don't see in Wayne's response--A genuine apology for leaving us in the lurch; a genuine explanation for ghosting both us and Acuvox; an acknowledgment that this was his problem and that he is determined to fix it immediately. Because, you know, customer satisfaction and all. Instead, he emails me separately and says he'll mail us the unit he has been sitting on for weeks, and that's it.
