If I could give 10 stars, I would…read more I'm circling back with the highest praise for B. Lin Catering, who catered my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday celebration--and absolutely stole the show. I honestly can't decide who loved the food more: the teenage girls with their surprisingly sophisticated palates... or my husband. The birthday girl felt like an absolute princess. She had the best sleepover, and the food was the clear highlight. Multiple girls independently said the same thing: "This is way better and much more flavorful than Chipotle." And listen--teenagers do not agree on anything, so that says a lot. The flavor is truly indescribable. The chipotle chicken was unbelievably tender, and the chimichurri skirt steak literally melted in your mouth--the kind of good where people pause mid-bite just to look at each other. Every single item was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly prepared with care and pride. It should honestly be a crime to make meat, chips, guac, and corn salsa taste that incredible. The service was just as impressive. The delivery driver was right on time (early, actually!), friendly, and professional, and even offered subtle but incredibly helpful tips on the best way to set everything up--those thoughtful touches matter when you're hosting a house full of teenagers. B. Lin Catering brought flavor, ease, and joy to a milestone moment for our family. I will absolutely be ordering again and recommending them to everyone I know in DC. Run--don't walk--to book them

I had to skip the burrito and fajita bars but the portions were massive and everything looked good.

**Review for Well Dunn Catering**…read more Well Dunn Catering delivered an absolutely extraordinary experience for the 125 Years of Forestry reception. They transformed what is normally a standard office space into a dreamy, elegant setting that felt straight out of a premier ballroom. Every detail--from the décor to the lighting--radiated sophistication and creativity. The staff was exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive at every turn. Their seamless coordination made the evening feel effortless. The chef's menu was nothing short of Michelin star-worthy--each bite offered a delicious blend of seafood and savory meats that left guests raving. The tea-smoked duck, in particular, was a standout favorite and gave the event an almost otherworldly touch. A special thank you goes to Sara H., the event planner of the century. Her attention to detail, genuine warmth, and thoughtful touches elevated the entire experience. She has a rare talent for making every interaction feel personal and every event feel magical. Thank you, Well Dunn, for doing exactly what your name promises--an event that was *well done* in every possible way!

The guests kept commenting on how amazing and imaginative the food was from the cocktail hour, to the main course, to dessert, and to the boxes of little pizzas to take away after the party. One guest mentioned that she felt that there were layers of surprises in the presentations, for example we had a gelato affragato cart for dessert along with the cake! Ramona was a dream to work with as well as her whole team. She was very easy to work with during the menu tasting and made excellent suggestions as to what would make the party feel special and reflective of our request to have amazing food. The service was very professional but really friendly. I highly, highly recommend Well Done Catering for any event!

Love that it's a family run business. the owner Ray and his son Joseph were fantastic- I toured most of their venues with them. They were super accommodating and attentive to any concerns I had as a bride. Our account manager Marcie was wonderful, taking detailed notes on everything (we communicated with her up until 2 weeks out from the date) and responding to my million and one questions, with a quick response time via email or call. Since we did a grand arrival by private charter, they even let us do a dry run ahead to practice docking and were super patient in waiting for us. 2 weeks out we were assigned our catering manager for the day of- Veronica is the best!! Responsive to texts and emails at any time of day (and unlike most venues where the catering manager is only concerned with ensuring the venue fulfills their contractual obligations), she and her staff showed up, worked with our day of coordinator, and played a huge role in ensuring the day went as flawlessly as it did! The day of, Veronica arrived at the venue early in case any of the production crew arrived early. She checked on us throughout the night, and you could tell she genuinely was excited for us and loves what she does! They truly went above and beyond. Couldn't have asked for a better team. Brides if you're heavily involved in planning the details of your wedding and looking for a hassle free experience, highly recommend booking one of CBU's venues. One of the best wedding decisions I've made.

I have no glassware or even a napkin. I'll never hire them for just this reason alone. They are unable to adapt. The food was a small salad, chicken and crabcake, with asparagus and potatoes. The salad was fine nicely dressed and tasty. The meal was cold, but you almost expect that for wedding caterers. The crabcake could have been great except there was no Old Bay seasoning available. Still haven't been offered a soft drink, guess I'll have to get that myself. The silk napkin, though fancy keeps falling off our laps. The venue, is impressive with the view of the bay but alas the parking is ridiculous as in you have to stack and pack the cars, so that will be fun when everyone leaves. Wedding cake was okay. Overall could have earned a 3 to 4 except for the lack of adaptability.

Everything was handled through their online request for a quote and email. Responses were usually received within 24 hours. I never felt like I needed to pick up the phone and reassure myself that they were taking care of my request. The online quote form is very detailed and when I stated that the theme for my daughter's party was Lord of the Rings, they ran with it. The creativity shown in the menu was amazing. It made my daughter extremely happy from the start. Hannah definitely worked to keep the menu within our budget, offering suggestions on where we could tighten things. The week of the event, they were back in touch to finalize details and on the day of the event, Chloe showed up with the food at the designated time and was very professional and polite but also very approachable. She did an excellent job setting up and explaining all the dishes. Finally, the food! Absolutely amazing! The hits were the leaf-wrapped elven lembdas bread and Balin's spiced beef (brisket). The brisket was so tender it melted in your mouth. While those two were the standouts, the rest of the food certainly held its own and disappeared quickly. I would definitely use Farm to Feast for any future catering needs.

The ham and biscuits were pasty with deli ham; ropa vieja empanadas were unimpressive and doughy, chicken skewers were bland- looked poached, mini crab cakes were not memorable. The staff was responsive, available and worked easily with my contact so I had guessed it would be fine. I was moved by the name and had expected freshness, goodness and quality. I wanted my husband's reception to be beautiful with delicious food but instead, I was embarrassed with what was served. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the site, buyer beware.

Corcoran handled both our catering and all of our rentals--and absolutely nailed it. The food was exceptional. We're still getting texts from guests saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had--some even said it was the best event food, period! We got compliments on everything from the starter salad to the passed hors d'oeuvres. I wasn't initially excited about the beer corn fritter, but it ended up being my favorite bite of the night. But what truly set our experience apart was working with Jordan. I honestly can't say enough positive things about her. She became like a second planner for us--offering expert guidance, always responding quickly and thoroughly, and saying yes to every single request with grace and positivity. I had so much trust in her judgment, and she never steered us wrong. One week before the wedding, in a moment of pre-wedding panic, I decided I wanted to change our napkin fold. Jordan didn't just talk me through options--she went to the showroom, set up our exact table settings, tested multiple options, photoshopped in our decor, and sent over a mini lookbook... only for me to choose the original one. That's the level of above-and-beyond care she provided. On the day of the wedding, I shared a special moment with Jordan about my grandmother, who had passed before the wedding. She held my hand, we shed a tear together, and I felt so supported and comforted by her presence. It meant the world to me. We will absolutely be recommending Corcoran--and specifically Jordan--to all of our friends getting married, as well as to colleagues planning corporate events at 101 Constitution, where we got married. If you're looking for a caterer and rental partner who will care deeply about your event and help bring your vision to life, choose Corcoran. And request Jordan!

She patiently answered all of my questions and made sure my order was correct. I have never ordered from a catering service and I was nervous! I was so impressed that I am doing the happy dance. The brisket was tasty and they even sent over extra gravy for the brisket. The sweet potato and carrot side dish was mouth watering. Even on zoom, my family and I were trying to figure out the ingredients. It was delicious. The chicken soup had large pieces of chicken and carrots. They gave us a large number of matzah balls for the soup too. The chocolate torte was fabulous. I couldn't help from licking the knife as I portioned it out for my family. The delivery was excellent and the delivery person was wearing gloves and a mask. We were missing one item and I called Karla, she had someone deliver it within minutes. The portions were plentiful for 10 people and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend La Prima catering and I won't hesitate to order from them again. I'd totally be fine with a nice prime rib one year... but you have to have brisket. Your meal also must include no leavaners... rising agents... yeast... anything like that. Then you have to have *Charoset (basically an apple and nut salad) *Horseradish *It'd be weird to not have gefilte fish *100 other things Basically it's a pain in the neck. So just the thought of trying to shop and get all of these things in the current climate was mind numbing. La Prima Catering to the rescue! Luckily I am part of a group where local restaurants and food services are posting info and I caught wind that La Prima was taking last minute orders for Passover. The price was right, the meal sounded delicious, and the woman Karla even reached out to me after I asked a question on the message board. It was clear she was responsive. Let me tell you! They really killed it, to be honest. Everything we got was fantastic. The brisket was super tender and they included a TON of extra gravy like my mother had asked for. The matzo ball soup was quite good with tons of fresh hand shredded chicken pieces. The tzimmes (which I had never had before) was indulgent with a rich depth of sweetness that in itself deserves 5 stars. The meal also included charoset (I prefer mine with a little more wine flavor). And the flourless chocolate cake which was chocolate decadence in every way shape and form. It was rich, and chocolatey, and it was honestly a mousse like consistency which I didn't mind one bit. It was the perfect finish. Me and my fam did our first virtual Passover like many of us around the nation and it went really well. I might honestly lobby for us to just order from La Prima next year to save one of us the hassle. I would be totally fine making like one thing (maybe a potato kugel) and getting the rest from La Prima. It was that good. Thank you La Prima. Thank you for saving our Passover. Thank you for dealing with my Jewish mother (she's the one that ordered). And thank you for putting a lot of love into that food you sent. It really made our holiday.
