Fall off the bone and an odd sweetness that made it easy to get lost in them. The smoked tamale with brisket and ancho cream sauce?? Stop!! So good! The cheddar cheese stuffed sausage? The cheddar cheese they use was FUNKY in a stinky locker room way that kept pulling me in again, bold and delicious. The Cuban pulled pork tacos? Juicy and savory with an orange and lime kick, with a tortilla that was thin, fresh, and stretchy. It's a good thing I ate the dry rub rib first because I it was perfect... fall off the bone and well seasoned. 10/10 Everything was amazing and then when they give you the Blue Bell ice cream cup with sprinkles at the end it's the cherry on top of happiness. So worth the drive!

Definitely worth the stop! Spent about $75 for our meal for 2 adults + 1 kid (with some leftovers) so not cheap but it's good! Sides: The cream corn wasn't really spicy but just had the jalapeño flavor. Corn bread was on the crumbly dry side but good. Potato salad was typical. Meats: The meats were the best part with excellent quality and melt in your mouth. They also had good sauces with my favorite being the Texas gold with more of a mustard flavor. Service: very helpful in bringing us our food and getting me a high chair for baby and wiping it down again. Bathroom is surprisingly clean and is detached from the building in a separate area.

Everyone kept saying "get the loaded potato," but I went for the three-meat plate instead: brisket, sausage, and ribs with potato salad and green beans. The food? Huge portions, fresh, and hot -- you're not leaving hungry. The sausage? Absolute standout. Best I've had in Victoria from a BBQ joint since Mumford's. Brisket was solid, ribs were good, sides hit the comfort zone. If Mumford's is the refined classic and Uncle Mutt's is the hometown hug, RNC is the solid weekend warrior -- generous, smoky, and worth the repeat. I'll definitely be back, maybe next time for that famous potato. Final verdict: 4 out of 5 -- strong showing, great sausage, and good vibes.

The first place we picked from Yelp, we couldn't get to as there was a walk-a-thon or marathon or something it access to the place were we heading was blocked. So we headed out of town and saw Jalapeño's. Pulled in. And got a table. Service was great. I got two small bean bacon and cheese breakfast tacos. They were probably the best I've ever had - at least as far back as I can remember. My mom had pancakes and my brother had the omelette. We all sampled each other's and everything tasted so good. The corn and flour tortillas are made fresh there. Salsas too are made there from scratch. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.
