Everyone kept saying "get the loaded potato," but I went for the three-meat plate instead: brisket, sausage, and ribs with potato salad and green beans. The food? Huge portions, fresh, and hot -- you're not leaving hungry. The sausage? Absolute standout. Best I've had in Victoria from a BBQ joint since Mumford's. Brisket was solid, ribs were good, sides hit the comfort zone. If Mumford's is the refined classic and Uncle Mutt's is the hometown hug, RNC is the solid weekend warrior -- generous, smoky, and worth the repeat. My daughter decided last minute that she wanted a food truck for her graduation party we hosted at the lake. We contacted RnC and they had availability for our date. After discussing options, we offered the brisket nachos and bbq brisket sandwiches. They were accommodating to some of condiment requests that they don't normally offer as well. The day of the party, they arrived and went straight to work taking everyone's orders. The workers were friendly and efficient, and the food was top tier. Was traveling thru town on the way to Corpus Christi from Houston. Perfect little lunch stop that will put you back on the road with a satisfied belly. We had the 3 Meat Plate with chicken, brisket, and ribs with sides of corn & potato salad. While we didn't want to over eat, we shared, we would next time order a 4 Meat Plate and double up on the brisket. The Banana pudding is a must to finish off the experience. It's big, so we shared. The brisket nachos were great 4/5, but would have been the bomb if it had a bit more brisket on them considering the price. The brisket & sausage sandwich was 5/5. Bread was soft & fresh. Ribs were 4/5. Very tasty but a bit dry. Nothing the sauce didn't fix. I've been in Victoria for 9 yrs and I don't think I have ever eaten here. I will definitely be back! read more

The bbq was good. Ribs are tender. But the sides were just average. Potato salad kinda tasted like store bought.

The ribs were fall off the bone! The seasoning was simple which really let the pork come through. The brisket was non fatty but still moist with a great pull. I liked the potato salad, but looking forward to trying their other sides. read more

Average at best. Pouring BBQ sauce all over the meat is not Texas BBQ. It should come on the side and I'll dip it if I want. Seems like a cover up that I see done at most average or worse places. Three small ribs and two sides on a 1-meat plate for $14 seems a bit high, too, since it doesn't include drink. Yes, I know meat prices have increased in the past few years, but I would expect more than I received for that price. No restroom and no workers are wearing masks. Thanks for that. Amazingly tender ribs, seriously the meat basically jumped into my mouth. Flavored just right too. The loaded baked potato was absolutely legit too. And "loaded" is an understatement with generous potions of everything. Give these guys a try! read more

I've only had one thing from here. The chopped brisket nachos. And they were SO good. I haven't tried anything else on the menu but I do plan on it. The nachos were HUGE, enough for at least 2 people! I went again the next week planning on trying something else but those nachos were calling my name. read more
