Stood here for the 4th of July weekend and it was perfect - My son and I loved this house and our stay in it. It had everything you can think of. The kitchen had everything and then some. The shower even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps installed on the wall. The back deck where the bqq pit is, is spacious and has 4 chairs and a table. The house was cozy and comfy and within minutes of all of Big Bear. Even the neighborhood was perfect and just a few minutes drive from the Holloway Marina. My only regret was having to leave. We had to leave our home due to our street being paved a few weeks after my husband's surgery. We found a cabin that was easily accessible with a yard our dogs would enjoy. We had a lovely time during our stay at the A-Frame-of -Mind. The cabin is stocked with pretty much everything you need especially in the kitchen and bathroom. They have a selection of spices, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion. They also provide a bunch of games, corn hole is always a hit in my household. The cabin was nice. It was clean and had all the amenities needed like shampoo, dish soap, coffee. Everything worked well like washing machine and dishwasher. The communication with the cool cabin employees was the best I have ever experienced. They texted answers to questions within minutes. I gave it a good instead of great because the house got hot and some of the screens were missing and those screens that were there were dirty some with holes and covered in spider webs. So when opening windows it was kinda gross. But it's big bear which means a lot of pollen and dust. this cabin was well cared for. The other problem was the master king bed didn't have the correct size bottom sheets on it so they used a top sheet and the under fitted sheet was a queen that didn't fit. Not the end of the world it was a great weekend. read more

I have been very impressed with our stay at the Lazy Bear Cabin. 10/10 recommend. The communication has been top notch. I received texts and emails as the trip approached and the week of I received a digital "guide" about the area and things specific to the home. It's been a really positive experience. When we arrived I got the hint of natural gas smell (I have the nose of a hound) and we opened the house up. The next morning I noticed it seemed to come from the dryer and I texted to let them know. They immediately sent someone out to check on it and fix it and it was fixed immediately. Super grateful for our experience and this cabin is AMAZING! Perfect for our family. I really wanted to like this place but it was a disaster from start to finish. We drove all the way up to Big Bear and got there at 4:10 for our 4pm check-in. The cleaners didn't show up until 4:20. We had to leave and come back, and didn't actually get into Chalet Des Ours until after 5:30pm which completely threw off our first night since we had dinner plans. The door locks were broken - like actually broken. Every single time we left the house we had to yank the doors super hard to get them to lock and even then we weren't sure if they were actually secure. We were genuinely worried someone would break in and steal our stuff. How is this even allowed to be rented out with non-functioning locks? Then after we checked out they hit us with a $95 charge claiming we left the hot tub dirty. The water was cloudy when we got there that first night - looked exactly like their photo. We only used it twice, covered it both times, and put the temp back down like we found it. We were only there 2 nights. But of course we didn't think to take photos when we arrived because we didn't expect to be blamed for their poor maintenance. The whole thing felt like they don't actually take care of Chalet Des Ours and then charge guests when things go wrong. Between the late access, broken locks, and getting blamed for a dirty hot tub that was already dirty, I can't recommend this place. There are way better rentals in Big Bear where the owners actually care about keeping things maintained and not screwing over their guests read more

Even when we arrived almost midnight someone was able to respond to us right away and was available if we needed anything. First time for our family to rent a cabin in Big Bear Lake to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday and we were not disappointed. The location of the cabin was very accessible from Big Bear Blvd. The cabin was of the right size and the two bedrooms were big with sun- lighted windows and the sheets were pristinely clean. The place has everything we need: kitchenette, couch, wifi, smart TVs and a deck. The home was spanking clean, cozy, warm and exudes no unusual smell at all. The toilets were clean and has all the amenities. We will definitely come back especially that the staff are so nice and communicated well, namely Jess, Adrienne and Star. Kudos to them. We (me n my son visiting from FL w his amazing girlfriend) had the ideal time in what turned out to be a last minute rental here for two days and nights after a Verbo rental misled us into it advertising as a two bedroom when it wasn't so we found this awesome, beautiful, super cozy, everything we could ask for cabin like rental last minute and couldn't be happier with everything! From the carpets, which usually I'm not a fan of, but for a cabin especially in the winter it was absolutely ideal, to the full home heating, to the very comfortable beds to be fully stocked kitchen with anything everything we could need they even included a full spice rack wow and just literally all you need to walk in is with your vacay clothes/outfits, toothbrush, bath kit, and shampoo and all else is there, just couldn't have been more pleased! read more

We've rented Peregrine Chalet in Big Bear Lake with company Big Bear Cool Cabins. It was very pleasant stay. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, very cozy, decorated with cute Big Bear style. Family room has that warm and inviting atmosphere. Very cute and comfortable kitchen where we have found everything we needed. Each item in the cabin was carefully thought out. Just amazing! We also had a dinner outside in covered patio. Beside the patio there is a jacuzzi that was warmed out for us and automatically hold the temperature. The cabin allowed pet stay, so we've brought our dog who had a great time running freely inside the fenced backyard. We've really enjoyed the cabin and planning to come back in the future. read more
