i'm here almost everyday, they even remember my order! This yummy place brings great munchies for breakfast or lunch. Service is quick and the employees are always friendly! The inside is kept clean with plenty of seating space for a nice and relaxing spot to eat a bagel or one of their freshly baked muffins. Definitely check this place out!!

I so wanted this place to be good. Chewy bagels, and not the NYC kind of chewy. I asked for double toasted and I'm not sure they toasted it at all. Made the bagel with cream cheese only on one side. Thinnest tomato slice ever. Definitely would not recommend it for bagels, but I gave it two stars just in case some of their other food is good because it wouldn't fair to give them one star (even though the place has bagel in their name!). Also gave it two stars because the young man at the counter was super polite and nice.

A Hidden Gem in San Marcos! I've been coming to this place for years, and it's honestly one of my favorites. Recently, I ordered via DoorDash, and unfortunately, my driver, Changyun, took half of my order. After contacting the restaurant, I was blown away by how gracious the owner was. They immediately made it right, replaced my entire order, and welcomed me to come down and pick it up. The level of customer service here is top-notch--so friendly and down to earth. This family-owned business really stands out in San Marcos, especially when it comes to quality and consistency. We don't have many great bagel shops in the area, so this place is an absolute gem. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by in the morning and grab a bagel (the muffins are a must-try too!). Highly recommend it!

Nice spot right next to the freeway exit with a good size parking lot. There's chairs inside if u want to eat there but I notice most people are just in and out. Good selection of not just bagels but other pastries. I really enjoyed the jalapeño cheddar bagel. The cinnamon one was literally just a plain bagel with cinnamon haha. Their cream cheese is also very nice and light. Seems like they whipped it to get a more airy texture.

We've gotten their dozen bagels before and loved them because they were made fresh. Recently came in and ordered their signature sandwiches and weren't as impressed. I came in towards closing time, so this may explain why the bagels were stale. Although, I feel every customer should have a good experience regardless of the time. Lox Bagel -- the bagel was stale and I got the end scrap pieces of the smoked salmon. Portions weren't the best. Breakfast Bagel -- stale bagel, sausage was really good.

Bagels are tiny, tasted old, no flavor and not even toasted. Hardly any cream cheese option's. The bathroom is disgusting and the shop felt dirty. Worst bagel I have ever had.

Once you step inside, it's very clean and quiet. Lots of seating for dining in and just a very homey place. I was feeling breakfast food, so I ordered the Kitchen Sink Crepe because I was craving hash browns; while my best friend ordered the Bacon & Egg Crepe. We had the chance to meet the owner of the restaurant and he was the absolute sweetest to chat with! Our order came out very quickly, like maybe about 5-8 minutes. The Kitchen Sink was very yummy and flavorful! I loved the chipotle drizzle on top and the way he caramelized the onions and mushrooms, along with crisping the hash browns really nicely was the cherry on top. Some pieces of my hash browns were a little bit burnt but it wasn't a huge deal considering I like my potatoes really crispy. I was confused because I believe he gave me avocados in my order but I didn't remember getting any for my crepe; but I absolutely loved it with my order so it's definitely something that I would do again! My best friend also loved her crepe! We pretty much ate the plate clean. We definitely want to come back more often to try their dessert crepes next! I will also be bringing my husband here because we love savory crepes. Thanks again for the great experience!

Whenever I come in and this person is working I know almost immediately, either by the way they incessantly hover over the poor workers at the front or if I'm getting gypped in my food portions. I understand how stressful a morning rush can be at a small cafe, but I wouldn't call it an excuse for having my meal come out half assed. I've come in during hectic hours on different occasions and not once has my food come out quite as poor. There was one instance when my avocado toast looked like the avocado had barely coughed on the toast. I can't imagine how hard it is on everyone else to have to work with this person as I've had a pleasant experience every other time. The gamble of going in with the chance this person is working is making it not worth it at this point.

We started with the Hummus Plate (4/5) and Spicy Sage Fries (5/5). The hummus had really good flavor and I especially enjoyed the garlic and olives in it. It paired well with the fresh veggies. The pita bread was a bit dry. The fries were definitely my favorite appetizer. They were flavorful with a slight crisp on the outside which is exactly how I like them. For my main entree, I ordered the Pesto Garden Pasta (2.5/5). It came with a generous portion of vegetables and was a good size overall but I wasn't a fan of the pesto flavor or the texture of the noodles. For dessert, I tried the Raspberry Cheesecake (3/5). They had many of the same items as last year... omelette station, prime rib, shrimp, breakfast items, desserts, etc. Across the board, it was better than 2025. Cooked better. Tasted better. Desserts were really good. Service was ok. Price was the same $85 as last year so maybe that's a win after a year's worth of inflation. But again, without an included cocktail or mimosa or anything, I don't think the value was there. Especially considering the primary guests are mothers and they're probably eating about $35 worth . I wouldn't pick to come here but it wasn't father's day.

I'm a huge Wicked fan and was excited to see this event advertised on Yelp. This restaurant was the only one in North County I can think of that acknowledged the movie when it was about to be in theaters. First of all, it was easy to get to based on my GPS but kind of challenging to find their parking lot. I ended up finding a 2-hour parking on N. City Drive which was in walking distance. All I was thinking of while walking up to Draft Republic is that this place is massive. Inside, the hostesses verbally instructed me where to go...came across bowling...arcade games...sports on tvs on my way. Behind the curtains, I entered the room in awe. Draft Republic really went ALL OUT!! The Wicked witchy vibe was sooo magical. I loved the beautifuuul Elphaba/Glinda decorations, cleverly creative themed menu option names, actual movie playing in the background, and the take-home momentos. Nick and staff were super wickedly friendly too. The Wicked Bites, Grimmerie Shots and Wickedest Cocktails were all FANTASTIC!!! I definitely tasted Draft Republic's wickedness. I appreciated everything about this experience....well well done. What a WICKED TIME! I hope there are more speakeasy pop-ups in the near future :-)

Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.
