This sandwich chain is known for their oven toasted subs, salads, and milkshakes. They also have mac and cheese, soups, combo deals, and kids meals. I got the small farmhouse salad and Nate got the Italian. There are a lot of options for sandwiches, including white or multigrain bread, flatbread, "thin cut" for less bread, and three different sizes - skinny, original, and big. It's kind of overwhelming but we just got the original size and multigrain bread. Once it's toasted, you can add toppings. Mayo, mustard, pickle, tomato, lettuce, onion, oil, Italian seasoning, and hot peppers are free. I like their hot peppers which is like a giardiniera mix. The person who rang us up was super helpful and polite which I really appreciated. The salad was fresh and tasty, and I liked the portion. The bowl was a bit too small for me to mix the salad up easily, but not a big deal. The sandwich was full of flavor and the bread was perfectly toasted. The tables were in need of wiping down, but they were pretty busy when we stopped by. Overall though, I really liked this location of this chain.

It's average bagel sandwiches with a price point that leaves me questioning why I paid $13 for a thin bagel "sandwich" (in today's to-go order) that was missing for a key ingredient - the goat cheese. Outside of today, it still baffles me that the cost and the product just don't line up. Quality is good, but it's scrimped imo. The redeeming factors for today's splurge: the bagel "flavor" was good & the salted toffee nut latte is worth the price you pay (standard cost for a 12oz latte). If you've got extra $ to spend 'in this economy', Bagel Kitchen is pretty ok...but it's just that - ok.

I loved that theu have a really extensive list of bagel and cream cheese flavors. I went for breakfast one morning and grabbed an egg and cheese on an everything bagel. My only real complaint was that they don't have many veggies to add to a breakfast bagel. I had some onion added, but whe I asked for pepper got told "we have some in a shaker or packets". Not...quite the pepper I was looking for. Oh well, the sandwich was still good. Was told to bring a couple bagels home as well, so went back on my last day in town and grabbed a couple to bring home with me. The bagels had a delightful crust with a oh-so-chewy center. Just perfect. If you're looking for a great little bagel place in Grand Rapids, Terra Bagels has you covered.

It was a Sunday morning so it was pretty busy and a little tough to move around but I didn't feel like we waited in line or for our food long at all. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a jalapeno bagel + one of their seasonal lattes. So yummy! The bagel was literally so fresh and soft and everything was the perfect temperature. Would definitely order again.

I ordered a couple breakfast sandwiches to take home, a blueberry lemon muffin, and a bag of bagels. It took about 10-15min before they were ready. When I got home, we noticed they swapped the proteins we ordered on my sandwich and my wife's sandwich. I asked for bacon on hers and sausage on mine, but they swapped them. The sandwiches were very good, so we didn't really mind. We swapped them ourselves. This is a pretty crazy spot. They have homemade pizza, ice cream, beer, deli sandwiches, pastries, breakfast, everything. It's the same owners as Railtown Brewing Nextdoor.

I would recommend pre-ordering the week leading up if you can't get there early. We went with the BEC on a cheddar everything, spicy boy on a cheddar jalapeño bagel and a hash brown on the side - YUM. The bacon egg and cheese was our winner, but each item was delicious. The everything cheddar might be my new favorite bagel in Grand Rapids! The spicy boy did pack a punch and did live up to the name, with a lingering heat. Those who love spice would be big fans. Set in such a cute area and the interior is a very cute, inviting space. Service was wonderful and inviting as well. Can't wait to be back to try more bagels!

They are only open on Saturdays 8-1pm, and I used to live farther away and it would've been difficult to make the trip to Eastown, but currently I'm walking distance to Lake Dr. It's a small store with about 3 tables inside, so mostly for takeout. I was expecting a line at 9am, but there were only a few people ahead of me! They do open advanced online ordering, which may help with the foot traffic. I ordered 3 bagels - everything, asiago, and za'tar ($8 for 3). They were out of sesame, and I got the last za'tar bagel. I wanted to make my own breakfast sandwich at home, so I didn't try their sandwiches or cream cheese this time. I also ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte from Toro Coffee (~$6), which had a pop-up stand inside as well. The bagels almost look "overbaked/overcooked," but they really just have that nice crispy exterior and fluffy inside that bagels are supposed to have! Being from the East Coast, I've complained a lot about there not being good bagels in Grand Rapids - but this is easily the best spot I've tried! I will come here again to pick up bagels for a special occasion!

Flavorful and the exact right amount of spice. The whole mom 'n pop shop had fun add-ons that could be purchased like candy cigarettes, local pops and delicious sounding pints of ice-cream.
