Supposed to be a Southern tradition with cream cheese added, i am served a bagel with cream cheese and bacon

This big apple leaves alot to be desired, i have had my order made wrong the last 5 times i have went no joke, its always a pretty decent wait so to have to wait again to have to get the correct item made is very frustrating, the big apple in Davison has never gotten my food wrong and overall quality and staff is better

Blueberry next to a very deflated (but more expensive) Asiago

This place is downright a great asset to the community, however the quality/quantity has recently gone downhill and I'm hoping I can rescind this post asap with their correction. I brought to their attention that, selectively, some bagel batches are not as full as others. Many weeks ago I ordered chocolate chip bagels and they came out the size of half dollars. Today I ordered their upcharged Asiago bagels and, well, compare them to the blueberry ones from the same order. Of course, I should be checking them before leaving the store, so yes this is my fault, however it's the unique flavors and quality that makes me make the drive there, and if the quality lags... I'll just order elsewhere. Fix it, Big Apple- I know you can do better!

A sandwich so big I saved half for later!!! It's amazing. Turkey club!

Very rude. I observed that if you're not a "regular" the staff is very unfriendly and even nasty at times.

I was just in there probably half hour ago and when I pulled in it was 98° outside. When I walked…read morein their air was not working and I believe it was the manager that said it was broken for at least two weeks. That's a concern when you're serving food at those high temperatures it was probably 90° in there. I literally sweat when I was ordering and waiting for my sandwich that is absolutely ridiculous. I'm reluctant to even eat my sandwich, but I paid $14 for that a bag of chips.

Grand Blanc (Saginaw Rd Location)…read more On 8/9, I visited the Grand Blanc location on Saginaw Rd around 1:08 PM to order two sandwiches -- a Giant #5 and a #7. The #7 was overcooked in the toaster and then sat there unattended. While making my #5, which normally comes with no mayonnaise, I also asked for the sauce to be on the side. The woman working there (I believe she was the manager) told me "the sauce barely touched the bread" and resisted remaking it, even though I made it clear I didn't want sauce at all. She had a young man remake the sandwich, but then mayonnaise was added -- again, not part of the sandwich I ordered. I had to request yet another remake. During this time, the woman made several unprofessional comments like, "Help her, hurry up to get her out of the store," while slamming items around and clearly acting irritated. Meanwhile, my second sandwich was over toasted and sat unattended. At that point, I asked for a refund, but she said they "don't offer refunds" and instead gave me a card for a free sub. I had to go to the Hill Rd location since she did not want to remake the sandwich. This was an additional trip out of my way, but it was well worth it -- the Hill Rd store was a breath of fresh air. The staff there were polite, the service was quick, and the sandwiches were made perfectly.

Nice bagel/sandwich shop, but definitely not as inexpensive as you might assume…read more Don't get me wrong- this is a nice bagel shop, especially for the mall. They're definitely doing something right. The bagels are incredibly fresh and obviously baked daily, plus the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, as well as their freshly baked cookies. It's obvious some TLC has gone into the mix here. If you expect stale bagels and a commercialized taste, you might be in for a surprise. The food is fresh. I don't think the staff would let a stale bagel leave in a customer's hands. No joke. The only problem is the price. I get that everything is fresh. Shouldn't every bagel shop be selling only the freshest of fresh goodies? I think so. The prices here at Bagel Brothers are a tad high, especially on the baked goods and treats, like cookies, muffins, biscotti, etc. Most of the baked goods are in the $9 price range. I think paying that much for a cookie, as good as it is, is a bit excessive. It's not made of gold. The bagel sandwiches are a bit higher than most of the competition, too, but I don't believe they're as out of line in price as the sweets are. It's just a little bit steep, especially for the area. Located in the former Cinnabon location at GVC, Bagel Brothers opened this year and since then, I have enjoyed their bagels and cookies a few times now. I was actually pretty excited to try it, but not so excited about their prices. Again, considering the area and the competition, it's a little high, but the quality is certainly there. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate muffins and their fresh bagels, which come in a variety of flavors, including pumpernickel, whole wheat and sun dried tomato (my personal favorite). Personally, I think the Lox bagel, with salmon and sprinkled with capers, is the best bet. I think it was about $7. Most of the loaded bagel sandwiches are in the $6-$8 range. Regular toasted bagels with cream cheese are a little over $2 (gourmet cream cheeses are extra, but the regular cream cheese suffices). If you want to spring for the gourmet cream cheese, get the dill. It's worth the extra money. They also have a large selection of sandwich wraps, as well as soups. I haven't tried the soup yet, but the broccoli and cheese looked pretty good. So far, service has been fine, but nothing out of the ordinary either way. The location is great, right on the first floor and away from the food court upstairs, which is occasionally a zoo. There is some seating out front, so you don't need to feel as if you're compelled to plop down on a bench in the middle of the mall to wolf down your bagel sandwich in a New York minute. I think they have a great product, but I don't know if everyone would be willing to spend that much for a few bagels and cookies or a muffin. Just saying. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me that much and I'm willing to spend a little more for the quality, but I'm not certain everyone would feel the same way. Like I said, excellent quality, but slightly exaggerated prices. Overall, I think it's worth it.
