Supposed to be a Southern tradition with cream cheese added, i am served a bagel with cream cheese and bacon

This big apple leaves alot to be desired, i have had my order made wrong the last 5 times i have went no joke, its always a pretty decent wait so to have to wait again to have to get the correct item made is very frustrating, the big apple in Davison has never gotten my food wrong and overall quality and staff is better

Blueberry next to a very deflated (but more expensive) Asiago

This place is downright a great asset to the community, however the quality/quantity has recently gone downhill and I'm hoping I can rescind this post asap with their correction. I brought to their attention that, selectively, some bagel batches are not as full as others. Many weeks ago I ordered chocolate chip bagels and they came out the size of half dollars. Today I ordered their upcharged Asiago bagels and, well, compare them to the blueberry ones from the same order. Of course, I should be checking them before leaving the store, so yes this is my fault, however it's the unique flavors and quality that makes me make the drive there, and if the quality lags... I'll just order elsewhere. Fix it, Big Apple- I know you can do better!

A sandwich so big I saved half for later!!! It's amazing. Turkey club!

Very rude. I observed that if you're not a "regular" the staff is very unfriendly and even nasty at times.

They're definitely doing something right. The bagels are incredibly fresh and obviously baked daily, plus the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, as well as their freshly baked cookies. It's obvious some TLC has gone into the mix here. If you expect stale bagels and a commercialized taste, you might be in for a surprise. The food is fresh. I don't think the staff would let a stale bagel leave in a customer's hands. No joke. The only problem is the price. I get that everything is fresh. Shouldn't every bagel shop be selling only the freshest of fresh goodies? I think so. The prices here at Bagel Brothers are a tad high, especially on the baked goods and treats, like cookies, muffins, biscotti, etc. Most of the baked goods are in the $9 price range. I think paying that much for a cookie, as good as it is, is a bit excessive. It's not made of gold. The bagel sandwiches are a bit higher than most of the competition, too, but I don't believe they're as out of line in price as the sweets are. It's just a little bit steep, especially for the area. Located in the former Cinnabon location at GVC, Bagel Brothers opened this year and since then, I have enjoyed their bagels and cookies a few times now. I was actually pretty excited to try it, but not so excited about their prices. Again, considering the area and the competition, it's a little high, but the quality is certainly there. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate muffins and their fresh bagels, which come in a variety of flavors, including pumpernickel, whole wheat and sun dried tomato (my personal favorite). Personally, I think the Lox bagel, with salmon and sprinkled with capers, is the best bet. I think it was about $7. Most of the loaded bagel sandwiches are in the $6-$8 range. Regular toasted bagels with cream cheese are a little over $2 (gourmet cream cheeses are extra, but the regular cream cheese suffices). If you want to spring for the gourmet cream cheese, get the dill. It's worth the extra money. They also have a large selection of sandwich wraps, as well as soups. I haven't tried the soup yet, but the broccoli and cheese looked pretty good. So far, service has been fine, but nothing out of the ordinary either way. The location is great, right on the first floor and away from the food court upstairs, which is occasionally a zoo. There is some seating out front, so you don't need to feel as if you're compelled to plop down on a bench in the middle of the mall to wolf down your bagel sandwich in a New York minute. I think they have a great product, but I don't know if everyone would be willing to spend that much for a few bagels and cookies or a muffin. Just saying. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me that much and I'm willing to spend a little more for the quality, but I'm not certain everyone would feel the same way. Like I said, excellent quality, but slightly exaggerated prices. Overall, I think it's worth it.

Then a third time I emphasized "just onions and cream cheese." A short while later she handed me a bag. I thought it looked on the small size for a Nova lox bagel, but went to have a seat. Then someone put a box on the counter and called out nova lox bagel. I went to the counter and asked the same woman who took my order if that order was actually my box, and she said no, so I went and sat down. A few seconds later she walked toward the table and said I had the wrong order and that "you asked, and I told you 'no,' and *you just walked away*." She said this last part with a lot of attitude. I said that I asked her if the boxed order was mine, and that she had said no, so I had gone and sat down. She gave me some retort full of attitude. Then I took the boxed Nova lox sandwich and sat down, opened the box, and saw it had capers. I took it back to the counter and told her in a normal speaking voice just matter-of-factly, "I ordered this without capers." She said, "You only said no tomato," to which I replied that I had ordered it without tomatoes or capers. Due to her rude tone of voice and attitude, after eating, I went to the counter and asked the only worker that was at the counter what the woman's name was. She mumbled something, and it didn't sound like a common name, so I couldn't understand her. I asked again, and she said, "You can ask her yourself. She's right there." She pointed to the seating area, and I saw the woman who had taken my order was now wiping tables. So I went up to her and asked her her name. The reply was, "Whatchoo need my name for?" I said because I wanted to complain to a manager. She replied, "I AM the manager." I said that then I needed to talk to whomever was over her and complain because she was very rude to me. She said that no, you were rude and "everybody saw it." I had never been rude, never raised my voice. The only thing anybody had seen was a woman who had returned to the counter and simply questioned if she had given me the wrong order (I had) and then, when she had gotten my order wrong, asked for it to be corrected. Neither time was I rude or raising my voice in any way. When I kept asking for her manager's information or corporate information, she ignored it and just kept repeating, "Bye!" loudly. Since I had no way to identify her, I packed up my things and took a photo of the back of her as she walked back into the back room. I did contact corporate about this and gave them the details from the receipt. This is the only negative incident I've ever had an Einsteins in the five states I've lived in. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. Tone and attitude are things that are hard to convey in a review, but I can say that nobody in Einstein's management over this store would be proud of the way this worker acted. I'm hoping they have video with audio and will review it so they'll see it supports my rendition of events.

Plus, the place was clean and even saw an employee making sure the garbage got changed. Not a 5 star review as orders were slow coming...when we got there, you can see in pics no one else there, but it became quite full quickly, and our orders then took abit to get. A local guy who was also waiting said it gets full on weekends and there is a usually a wait. Not sure about our order as we got there before the crowd...there seemed to be enough people making the orders. Also....I did not see any employees wearing a mask. It's up to you personally if that matters or not. I got the Northern omelette for $4.99, and the cinnamon toast latte in a large. Filling enough to get me through on a road trip till coming back early evening. Did not get complaints from my other family members that were with me about their choices. I'm not sure if the jumbo muffin was fresh baked or not. I thought it was till I looked on their website to see if I could find which one it was and they list some as freshly baked, and others as "My favorite muffin" brand....it was good nonetheless! Had a better experience at this location over another one I reviewed....so yes, I would go back here.
