Great customer service and quality products. Love it…read more May be busy sometimes but their attention to detail is exceptional. The bagels are fresh and the lux with bagels and creative sandwiches are great. Haven't had a bad item from there yet since my arrival to Nebraska.

We drove 30 minutes to try The Bagel Bin in Omaha after reading reviews and the way the business…read moredescribes itself. Your story states that Bagel Bin is "a pioneer of the New York-style bagel in Omaha and the city's inaugural destination for this quintessential treat." Because of that, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, our visit did not reflect what's described. The ordering area was unclear for first-time customers, with no obvious signage showing where to order or where to pick up. The main disappointment was the bagels. I always order a plain bagel as a baseline. Having grown up in Brooklyn, NY in the 60s-70s, I'm very familiar with what a true New York-style bagel should be: * A tight, dense crumb with tiny air pockets -- compact but still soft * A chewy crust, not crunchy -- a gentle tug when you bite * Clear freshness -- when warm, it should smell like flour, steam, and malt What we received was dry and lacking chew, with none of the aroma or freshness expected from a hot-water-boiled, freshly baked New York-style bagel. It tasted more like something that had been sitting than something just made. We were genuinely excited to visit and left disappointed, which is not something we expected given your reputation. If this was simply an off day, I'd appreciate hearing that and understanding what may have happened. If someone from management would like to reach out directly, I'd welcome a conversation and the opportunity to experience the bagels as they're intended to be. Here's their response on Google: We open at 5am for all the freshness and aromas you desire. Thanks for the review. Here's my follow up response: I'm disappointed by this response. My feedback focused on quality, freshness, and expectations set by how the business represents itself -- none of which were addressed here. Thoughtful, critical feedback should be an opportunity for engagement and improvement. Ignoring it sends a message about how customer concerns are valued.

Employees were friendly. The sandwich was delicious, great flavor and cheese selection. Made fresh when ordered, asiago bagel was soft with the perfect browning without being tough. I enjoyed the Cadbury cold foam added a fun option to treat myself on my white mocha. The atmosphere was very relaxed and even though it was busy, perfect for light conversation without bothering others.

The bagels and schmear from B&J has me in a chokehold. Y'all... try the apple cinnamon bagel…read moretoasted with brown sugar schmear and thank me later. My first sandwich here was the classic bagel and lox on a Asiago bagel with dill schmear. It was soo yummy, but I think the smoked salmon was too salty for me. Could've been the batch I had. I've also made a custom breakfast sandwich with the jalapeno bagel, basil aioli, tomato, sausage, egg, American cheese. I would so order it again and again. The coffee is okay, nothing spectacular. I think they could add more flavored coffees, but that's coming from a girl who loves sweet coffee. The food here however, 10 out of 10. Ambiance is chill, welcoming, relaxing. I love coming here and seeing the older folks enjoying each others company while playing board games. It might be my favorite thing ever.
