One employee in particular with short brown hair always has to scan my ID even though I've been a customer here for over 20' years. Whenever I question or have a question for her she always replies with such a snarky and cunty attitude. She treats everyone like this, so I've heard. I've actually gone out of my way to not go here while she's working. Stay away folks if you see this one behind the counter! What ever happened to customer service? Not at this place where the one behind the counter rules her court. The only dude that works behind the counter, however is the best and is why I would give 1.5 stars. I'd actually give him 10 stars but the brown headed lately just brings this down. Where they really shine for me is their donut cakes. I've ordered two donut cakes from Randy's, most recently a retirement-themed donut cake, and both were a huge hit with the crowd. They're fun, impressive, and make a great centerpiece for celebrations. That said, I've consistently had issues with the ordering process. Both times I ordered via email, the order was either lost or never fully confirmed. The first time I followed up well in advance, but the second time was more stressful--when I arrived at 6 a.m. to pick up the cake, it wasn't there. To their credit, the staff handled it well. They quickly made a replacement cake for the next day and offered it at half price. They also gave me free rolls the day of, which was a kind gesture, though I would have preferred having the cake as originally planned. In the end, everything worked out, but my biggest suggestion is to double or even triple-check event orders to avoid any last-minute surprises. The product itself is solid and always a hit--just be sure to confirm, confirm, confirm.
