Regina is an excellent cook! I enjoy her soups and the gelato ice cream especially. She and her staff provide excellent service.

Great place for lunch. Homemade cookies and pies. Nice little hidden gym in downtown Columbus. It is not fancy, but it is good.

Let me just say I try to take my work life very seriously I thought this was gonna be a nice job…read moregood hours clean place and yes it was most of that there was just one main problem, the owner from the beginning I knew he seemed pretty strict on things and I get it, then a couple days in I just noticed how much he was really yelling at all the other employees and for the littlest things, I felt like I was walking on eggshells working around him hoping I wouldn't be getting yelled at next because no one will be yelling at me at my place of work. I worked for a couple weeks and just knew it wasn't gonna work, I was just under to much pressure there I knew eventually I would be the one getting yelled at, I talked to employees and they've all thought about leaving plenty of times and because of him. He had been saying things about me to the other employees because I moved a table to close to the wall and forgot to wipe off a cart before putting it in the back around the 2nd week I was there . I ended up quiting on my break around the 4th or 5th week I just brought my clothes and hat inside and told my employee I was sorry and I couldn't do it, nothing disrespectful not bad said just that. I come back after two days for my last check to sign a paper I walk in stand next to the counter and don't say a word just wait to be helped and the owner Steve decided he wants to yell out loud "oh it's my favorite person that just up and fuckin left the other day" and then in a different/mimicking voice says "I want my money I want my paycheck". Are you fucking kidding me that is so beyond unprofessional you are 58 and the owner of this business but can't even treat your employees or customers with decency, it's actually crazy how you can act like that I was completely dumb founded, you need to check yourself. And to everyone else working there you do not deserve to be treated like that.

I ordered eggs over-medium and they came out cook solid all the way through and over cooked to the point of being dry. On the other hand, the pancakes were thin and soggy. Like they had been reheated with steam. Overall not a pleasant meal. Waitress was okay but the staff who seated me and did check out didn't say hello when I walked in or thank you when I left. Will not be back.

When the waitress came over, she didn't apologize for the wait or anything just said "are you ready?" We ordered food and drinks and again, it took like 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Still no apology. Finally got our drinks and our food came pretty quickly, which I was happy for. Unfortunately the food was bland and my mom's was disgusting. My kids both got pancakes and they ate and it was good so I was happy with that. I got a French dip and the au jus had barely any flavor, and the roast beef tasted like it was a few days old and definitely tough. Chicken fried steak was literally disgusting and a cheeseburger was completely overcooked. It was decently clean but the bathroom was kinda dirty and there was no paper towels. Overall, just a really disappointing experience and we will not be back.

No thanks, I will take exactly what I ordered. Do they give me what I asked for? Nope, I got what they wanted to make. Simple, large Americano with steamed heavy cream. Counteroffering with a latte with half and half is nowhere near the same. So as I get to window asking if they made an Americano with steamed heavy cream...they said yes. What did I drive off with? Some half and half nastiness. If you are not going to make what I order, please tell me to drive off and go home without coffee. Last time I was in Columbus, I actually quit going to Scooters and Starbucks. I am sure if I ordered the sugared down coffee drinks, I would not know they don't know how to make coffee.

This location is still in its new phase; there have been a couple blips in the ordering process-- which probably are due to inexperience--things that I'm sure will get worked out in time. Otherwise it's good service-- just avoid going during Columbus' busy times (8am, noon, 4pm) and you should be fine.

The waitress was friendly and prompt to come and get our drink order and to get it brought to us. Then our order was not long after that. A table of 4 and we received our appetizer quick enough and had time ro enjoy it before our order came. We all made sure to get something different so as to try as much of the menu we could. Burger, fries, cauliflower, chicken fried steak sandwich, pork tenderloin sandwich, onion rings, glue fries, drinks and im sure im missing something. Everyone left feeling very satisfied, and loving our choices and what we ate. The place is smaller and I can see once its a packed house it is probably noisy but its to be expected. After all it is a tavern. I will be recommending the place as much as I can and will visit again when I am in town.

Heads up, if you use the men's restroom, take a couple of napkins with you as they have one of those recirculating dirty cloth towels to dry your hands
