I bought a LG range in Dec 2023 along with…read more the extended warranty. One evening we heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen. The stove was cold, not being used. I called Furniture and Appliance Mart in Rhinelander, were I bought the range, reporting that the glass in the front of the oven door shattered. They told me they would send the claim to the service department. After about a month I called about the claim as they told me to do. At that time the service department told me the shattered glass was not covered, even though the factory and extended warranty were in place. No one could be bothered to advise me about this, even though we didn' t have a range. I then went in to speak with the store manager and he told me he would forward my claim to the service department.because the store did not handle warranty work. I didn't hear from the servise department so I called them. They told me the shattered glass was not covered and I would need to call LG service department. I couldn't believe how I was being jerked around. I called LG and finally got some help. They are going to send a repair tech to my house to fix the range. All this took severAl months plus many hours on the phone to do the work that the store or the service department should have done. I moved to Rhinelander about 4 years ago. Since that time I spent several thousand dollars on furniture and appliances from this store. I would have thought I would have received some servise when it was necessary. I received nothing from the store and that's exactly what they will receive from me in the future! I will never buy anything from Furniture and Appliance Mart again.

They offer everything one would expect from a small craft brewery, both in terms of style and pour sizes -- everything from tastes, to flights, to small seven ounce pours (shorties), to a full pint. I had shortie pours of their lager and IPA. The lager was light and refreshing but not thin and watery (think "lite beer"). The IPA was lightly hopped compared to many IPAs on the market these days -- which I thought was good -- one can taste and enjoy the hops without being overpowered by them. The taproom is located in a storefront on the downtown main street. The decor has an "up north vibe" but I wouldn't say it is attractive or coherent in style. There's a bunch of historical memorabilia on display hearkening back to the old days when every town had its own local brewery -- which in this town was (of course) The Rhinelander Brewery. The staff was friendly and could readily talk about their products. The Rhinelander Brewery is not that much different from hundreds of other small craft brew taprooms around the country, so I'll stick with three stars, which for me means average -- but totally acceptable -- in terms of everything one would expect from an establishment like this. I had theCarmelita, 20 ounce, as I needed to get more energy to make it through the afternoon and also, I needed to 'get my Maxx on.' Yes, TJ Maxx is right around the corner at Riverwalk Centre. The Briar House is always an A++ experience due to the high-quality coffees, as well as the really friendly hospitality!! I recommend to always include the Briar House with your TJ Maxx'in as you will be sharper and more mentally alert in hunting down and spotting the deals!

Menard's is always very well-stocked, clean, and a big offering of anything that is seasonal, this time it was Halloween and the start of Christmas. Lots of neat home decor items. Also, they have a great selection of jeans, light jackets, heavy jackets, and Gloves, and everything outerwear that you would need in the North Woods. All of it at very respectable prices.
