I wouldn't give them any stars if I could. After reading Laura's Yelp review, I knew I had to warn…read morepeople away as well. Robert came into my parents' home and promised the world. In hindsight, there was another estate sale company that we should have looked at. Robert promised not to "touch" my mother's jewelry drawer until we had a chance to go through it and select our own personal pieces. When we arrived, all of her jewelry was laid out on the bed. Only later did we realize that my grandmother's vintage pieces and all the of Franklin Mint boxed jewelry had been taken. In addition, they don't care if it rains and then demanded that we go purchase 2 large boxes of plastic for $60.00, so they could put out all the items on the yard. They tore the window screens because they handed out items from the home through the windows instead of walking through the very convenient patio doors. They sold in "lots" to hurry the sale and allowed people to purchase the lot and then leave behind anything they didn't want in the lot. The yard and covered shed were a mess. They sold each basement wall for $10.00 and again, people left behind what they didn't want. They even had the audacity to sell the dehumidifier that was plugged in and running for $20.00, which had been a purchase made two months prior for approximately $400.00. Ruts were left behind in the backyard from the food wagon they allow on the property, as well as the soda cans and paper wrappers. They did NOT clean out the house as promised. They left an entire corner in the basement full of things they said, "wouldn't sell". That is not what Robert said during his initial meeting. He promised everything would be emptied out. Renee put all of the food and cases of canned food items in her personal vehicle before they left for the day. She said her father taught her not to waste food. One of the buyers who came back the next day to take the items he purchased, told us that items should have been sold separately and that there were valuable items left behind that were overlooked. He said he felt like they didn't want to deal with it and just wanted to take their money and run. Robert was given a key to the house so that they could stage items and after the sale we realized the key hadn't been returned. When we called Robert, he said he had placed it back in the hiding spot. It was not there, leading us to believe that he just didn't want to bring it back. BEWARE of this company; Robert, Renee, and Renee's boyfriend Travis are con artists.

I will be taking up the matter with the Board of Auctioneers. One of the defendants in the lawsuit called the auction company many days prior to the auction asking them not to sell it because he could be liable for fraud. They ignored him, and told me the day of the auction when I showed them the court papers, that they would call the Sheriff on me if I said anything at the auction. They claimed they had no idea- I cannot believe that a company that auctions property does not do their due diligence and check with the Register of Deeds or title company to see if a property legally can be sold. If they would have done this, they would have clearly discovered the Lis Pendens. I informed them way before the auction started and they still chose to not disclose, and when someone in the bidding audience asked about a law suit, they said there was none.
