One of the pictures shows an entire wall displaying shoes, but they are no longer sold. This store is the best place to get your Three Lakes emblazoned merchandise such as mugs, clothing, and home décor. I like how most of the items have a high quality look to them as opposed to a souvenir look. I got a nice mug that has the Three Lakes Chain depicted on it. Matching coasters are available as well. The items tend to change so it's a good idea to check back in a few months to see if anything is new or if you see something you like be sure and snap it up. Candles, soap, and handbags are available as well. The children's area is not as extensive as what is pictured; however, it is available. The shop always smells so good! The restroom is delightful featuring a full length mirror.

There was always a…read morevisit to the dime store during our summer stay and I'm glad to see the tradition of Wisconsin Dime Stores is alive and well in Minocqua. Toys galore. These are not super quality posh toys, these are cheapie but fun classic and nostalgic toys. Like plastic army men, rubber chickens, matchbox cars, cap guns, potato guns, play make up, plastic dollies, plastic dinosaurs, play bow and arrow sets, coloring books, crayons...so much more...lots to keep kids occupied when they are not out on the lake. There is also a nice array of t-shirts and sweatshirts all proclaiming your love for Minocqua or the NorthWoods. And souvenirs to commemorate your visit to WI. Service was ok. The store is cramped so not a lot of elbow room, but a dime store and it's cheap. A great place to browse.

The only problem I have with this thrift store is that you really have to look at the items before buying them. The people who shelf and price these items don't really seem pick and chose what is put on shelf and what isn't. For example, I found a CD case without a disk in it and there was a board game missing it's cards. Now, if I wasn't paying attention, I might have purchased those items and been out of luck.

I stopped in your craft and hobby store on Monday afternoon. I wanted to mention two things. First, I love the new layout of your store. I bring my dad in to buy model cars and trucks often. He always comments about how messy that area is. I was happy to give him a call and tell him how shoppable it is now. Second, I was very impressed with the young lady working at the counter. I didn't need her help with anything, but some other customers did, and she was very friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. I don't know what her title is, but she should be a manager. Awesome store. Will be back! read more

We bought a rhubarb plant to replant at home. My husband loved the gyro food truck and I tried a prime rib sandwich with peppers, o ions and cheese and a cup of tatie tots. I noticed that the food truck I got my sandwich at had a decal stating they were with the fire department. This flea market is run by the fire department. We also bought a couple of nylon lounge seating that looks like an inflatable canoe. I guess you can float on the water with them too. Hasn't been warm enough to try that out yet. I expect us to go back to this event several times between now and Labor Day.

Another favorite place for us to stop along the way when visiting Eagle River. Animals And More…read moreoccupies the space that once was an old-fashioned movie theatre called the Eagle, as the building still retains its old overhanging facade, though the lights have been removed. Instead of the movie title, the sign reads "Animaland" in colorful letters. The interior has been converted into a store specializing in a wide variety of unusual stuffed animals and toys. There's also some interesting books for kids and some fancy model cars that grownups who appreciate classic cars would love. They have a "Build-a-Bear" like stuffing machine for making your own stuffed animal. However, the place is not a rip-off or way overpriced like the name-brand DIY stuffed animal shop I mentioned. This is a family-run business and the people behind the counter are as nice as can be. My older son found a book on tornadoes and hurricanes that he picked out and my younger son found a stuffed turtle that compelled him to rub its plush shell with his hand and suck his thumb simultaneously. They also have these really long sleep shirts my wife likes. Her favorite shirt depicts a bear wrapped around from front to back that reads "Bear Hug". No place else carries some of these products. Well worth a visit if you're in Eagle River.
