Owner was so RUDE! It made myself and my children uncomfortable. We spent $100 and I regret patronizing this place. read more

This store is a regular stop when we vacation in the area. They have a huge selection of toys and stuffed animals. Kids (and adults) can spend an hour looking at all the various games, puzzles, etc. The selection is so large everyone can find something they like. read more

Nice store with both current and some eclectic toys. We got some nice gifts to surprise the kids with for Christmas. very nice lady at the register I went to this place a year ago and gave a bad review because it had a horrible smell. We stopped in again as we do each year in Eagle River and I must say I was happily surprised that they got rid of whatever the issue was. It's a good sign when a business owner takes action based on customer feedback. read more

I love this locally owned gem of a good old fashioned toy store! They have oodles and oodles of toys, games, etc for all ages.....infants to the young at heart. They also are great about sharing reviews and recommendations, ifPerfect place to pop into on a rainy day at the lake for a new game to pass the time until the sun starts shining. read more

I thought this place was going to be the place to take my kids for some fun toys, but with how rude the owner was I have decided to never go back. That lady was so rude to my poor children. She snapped at me for letting my daughter look at a stuffed animal. I feel bad for this ladies grandkids. Just saying you need to be nice to work with families and children who come into your store. I'm sure your mom taught you better. read more

I love this store and have been a semi-regular customer over the past year. I go here to get my RC stuff. Chris has been super helpful in ordering parts and helping with fixes. I've purchased things that fly, float and go fast on land. Great folks with a great store. Cheers! Gabe read more

Such a great store to have in our small town. A large variety of all the best gifts!

I see that you have some good reviews. we'll brace yourself granny because this isn't going to be one of them. we live in Eagle River. Six of our grandkids come up in the summer to visit and grandma's toy box is a must stop, until now. We have been going to your store for years now, plus now there is another generation to buy for as we have a great grandchild. Every time I come into your store I am never greeted with a hello or any other salutation. You are and have been on every occasion I've been there either grumpy, looking like you'd rather be anywhere else, or unpleasant boarding on downright rude. This isn't just my opinion, my grandkids can even see this. They refer to you as "grumpy granny". You come around when people are shopping pretending you're straightening stock but in reality you're spying on people shopping as you never ask anyone if you can help them. You've lost at least $600 in sales from our family. I'd rather drive out of my way to shop where I'm appreciated and treated like a valued customer. You don't have the demeanor not only to deal with customers, but especially not children. read more

I was in this establishment with my dear friend while testing out one of those items and this older women came up to me and at me and my friend when we clearly didn't do anything wrong after this I asked if they had Apple Pay and she rudely said no I would highly suggest never to come here there is a store down the street called eagle hobby which has a much wider inventory than grandmas toy box. read more

Wow! Grandma has a great selection! Grandma's Toy Box has a fantastic variety of children's toys. It also has a good variety of nicknacks for those fulfilling holiday grab back obligations. Where Grandma's Toy Box really excels for the above age 10 patrons is in its vast selection of board games, where it include many of the most popular modern games including Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. Grandma's board games come from a variety of genres including party games and strategy games, among others. Additionally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the establishment is fun to explore. It is places like this that add to the Main St. feel of Eagle River. I highly recommend Grandma's Toy Box for those looking for toys or games! read more

The place was okay. Went in there last week. Staff was nice. More stiff available than I expected. I saw some older things which was nice. A lot of things I used to play with as a kid. The thing I didn't like was how the older woman working kept following me around. She made it seem like she was only straightening things, but I felt like she was following me. It was making me so uncomfortable that I left right away. Nobody should treat customers that way. read more

Incredible store with an extremely helpful staff. Eagle River is lucky to have a business of this type in such a small community. The store has a vast array of brand names at the same price of the large big box stores. Eagle Craft & Hobby (same owner) is next door & offers an amazing selection! Put these businesses on the the top of your list whether you are a local or just visiting. read more

Great selection. BUT, the place smells like cat pee, especially during the summertime. Also, the person running the place is not too helpful and it seemed that we were bothering her when we asked questions. read more
