This place was fun and the food was pretty good. Service was good too. We will go again on a date night.

It's a smaller place but that's what makes it so nice. The owners and staff get to know you personally. The prices literally can not be beat. Here's the best part. Food quality to price ratio are the best in Ellijay. The food is freshly prepared. No fryer in the building. They have weekly specials that change constantly. That's a refreshing change. On top of that, the specials are always delicious. I will list my favorites. Go here people. You will love it. 1. The steak sliders are 10 out of 10. 2. The club sandwich is outstanding. 3. There chili is as good as home cooked. 4. One of the specials was chicken, broccoli and potatoes. Very delicious and the portions were perfect. 5. Another special was theSheppard's pie. You nailed again guys!!!!!! Fine job chef!!!!!! You are cooking some first class home cooked food.

They do not have any of the desserts. They go bad before people order them I was told. I should have read between the lines there! My jalapeño burger was two bites two many and the fries taste they were cooked in motor oil. And Stunk. My wife got chicken strips almost as skinny as the skewer it was on and tasted like, a bad meal. Don't get me wrong but we went there 10 or so years ago and it was good. Don't waste your time on the food. Go there to drink with no appetizers and you will be fine. I only comment on really good and really bad place.

I felt like I was not given a good offering from the staff at this sports bar. Last year I paid the…read moreridiculous price to get all the Indianapolis Colts games. This year I didn't want to pay over $200 for the programing. So, I live near Sixers Sports Bar and arrived , 30 minutes before kick off. The place was pretty crowded. There were some seats I was able to find a place to sit down at the bar and it took maybe 20 minutes before I could get anybody to come to that bar and stand behind it and ask me if I wanted a beer or a drink and I ordered a beer so I said I would like to see the Colts against the Baltimore Ravens. Could you bring that up on this TV here in front of me and she had no clue she got the remote control and she was fiddling around with it and she goes. I don't think we have it and I asked her well. Could you get somebody that really knows how to use this equipment and see if they can do better and find the game so she disappears for a while. Another 10 minutes comes by and the game started now and I have my $4.50 draft beer in front of me and some guy fiddles around with it and he goes. No we don't have it. It's not on our system here and I said well. Do you have the ticket he goes? No, we don't have the ticket so they have like DirecTV something like that. But a place that big considers itself a sports bar doesn't have the Indianapolis Colts which is being televised live by CBS Sports in Indianapolis where I was born and raised. So I left and went over to a place that I saw some games last year that for some reason I couldn't get locally and it was modern sports bar on South Tennessee. Guess what? 2 minutes. I was offered a beer 3 minutes. They had the game right in front of me where I was sitting. I was invited to sit down with a Cleveland browns fan who was watching the TV right next to mine and I got to make a new friend which I thought was nice. Now at sixers nobody gave a crap whether I sat with anybody or what you know they had other things to deal with I guess, so I'm not going to give them a real high Mark. In fact, I was really dismayed that they treated me the way they did and couldn't even provide one of the main NFL early 1:00 p.m. games I got it at as much smaller place and a much friendly or crowd.

The owner was very rude and refused us service saying they were closed (it was 7PM on a Saturday, cmon), despite hearing from multiple sources that they close around midnight. The owner told us he was "offended because "didn't approach the bar immediately" and looked around the bar first--which I believe was the reason we were refused service as there were already people ordering drinks in the establishment. Overall, despite our money also being green, unless you're specifically looking for an Irish pub, we recommend that you go somewhere else. There are much better options further into town...

He mentioned that the owner, Father Brennan, was awesome and it was a true irish bar. He was right!! When we came inside, there were quite a bit of people inside. We looked around and the decor was really great and authentic. Going up to the bar, it was just him behind the bar and it was pretty busy, so after a couple minutes, he came over to take our order. He was very nice and accommodating to us! The Boro Inn is a really cool authentic hole in the wall kind of place and I loved it. We didn't have any food since we had just come from dinner, but maybe next time! I will definitely be back when I'm back in town!!
