That kind of personal touch really sets this shop apart. They carry an impressive selection of surf fishing gear, including sand crab rakes, rods, reels, tackle, lures, and a wide variety of lines. They're also well-stocked with live bait, including blood worms--an excellent choice for surf fishing. We also purchased my wife's Okuma Hawaiian Custom surf fishing rod paired with a fully lined Okuma SI 4000 reel from them, and that setup has been instrumental in her success. I had 2 employees helping me find cleats for me. they took in what I wanted in design and my price range; I was given every cleat within those ranges until I found the perfect fit for me. There are about 5-6 employees working at a time and if they aren't bugging you after initially entering the store and want some time to look around, they ignore you. When you do need some shoes, the workers will hang out behind the cash register. This is more of a knock on the management to allow this type of behavior while running the store. I understand they get busy but the least they can do is check back up on me. I had to leave and walk back in a few minutes later, just to be like a new customer. Like I said from the beginning, the new store is awesome and the and the layout of the store is great. The customer service needs work. I've had nothing but excellent customer service here. No matter what location I am at, the staff will check their online inventory to see if they have what you're looking for in stock, in most cases there's been a few times where they didn't have a particular pair of shoes in stock, but they ordered for me and had it delivered to my house. Thanks famous footwear for being awesome! I'll see you another 600 miles if NOT before. I highly recommend this place.

The lack of professionalism and accountability made an already frustrating situation worse and left me feeling unheard as a customer. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and provided with accurate information and support. With rows and rows of tackle, I am able to find most lake specific lures, weights, bait, hooks, etc. Sometimes I have to go to the store at the lake itself and get even more specific items, but BPS usually has what I need. Whenever I enter the store, the personnel always ask if I need help or direct me to the area where more specific help can be found. Moreover, the store is dog friendly and has dog treats at the ready. Occasionally, BPS will host a Monday club night whereby if you are a BPS club member, you can stand in line to get a light meal and enter a raffle to win items, but I recommend you go early and stand in line or else there will be no more food left.

They approached me and pressured me into listening to their sales pitch, and it felt like "no" was never an acceptable answer. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and extremely pushy. After signing up, I did more research and realized it wasn't a good investment for me, so I canceled months ago. Unfortunately, the unwanted contact hasn't stopped. I continue to receive spam calls, and when I tell them I'm not interested, they often end the call abruptly only to call again a few days later. It's become incredibly frustrating. Bass Pro Shops should reconsider allowing this kind of aggressive sales tactic inside their stores. Customers come to shop, not to feel pressured into vacation ownership presentations or deal with persistent calls long after they've declined. Because of this experience, I no longer plan to shop at Bass Pro Shops. It's disappointing that one partnership has negatively affected what used to be an enjoyable place to visit.
