Wanted to try and replace some old golf club grips and golf mart was the first that came up in my search. They had a great selection and even better they did the replacement for you right then and there. The costs was like an extra few bucks for the labor and they even cut one of the shafts for me since it was a bit long. Overall, the service, selection, and helpfulness of the staff were awesome. visited Frid 12-6-24 again as we have each time we visit the Monterey Peninsula. Brandon and Jerome have always been wonderful as well as the young man who changes grips, cuts down clubs, etc. I don't remember his name but we had a nice conversation about him being self-taught in his golf craft. I had called on the way there from almost 2 hours away and had a club shaft that I needed shoriented. He said since it was only one club he'd get me in and out in no time. Went here for the first time to purchase a golf bag and a few new clubs for my young golfer. I was VERY impressed by not only the selection for the young but also by the customer service. Mark, Kirabo and Faren were top-notch!! They even offered to regrip a torn grip for my daughter free of charge; we did give Kirabo my daughter's old bag that she outgrew so that he could give it to his daughter who just had a birthday. Got fitted after my graduation. Patrick helped myself and my dad. We both are mid handicappers and we're just looking for an upgrade from our 20+ year old clubs. Patrick guided us easily through the process while also giving us the freedom to choose and feel what we felt was right. I ended up with this beautiful set of Callaway Rogues and am very happy with the decision. They setup a lane, computer, they found the clubs I wanted to test and let me whack away... only thing I would add is I was in the market for an entire new setup, I fished for a bundle discount but it wasn't heard so ended up saying 'price check' and walked out with no i,pulse purchase .. I might very buy from Golf Mart as they were helpful to me but only if I don't find someone willing to do a bundle deal.. I recently had a problem with an out-of-warranty product from Bushnell but thought I'd at least try to get some resolution from the store I bought it from. I recently moved some 3 hours away from the Golf Mart in Seaside and thought I was just plain out of luck, but Mark, the store manager, really came through and helped walk me through the return process and now I will be getting the latest and greatest rangefinder on the market as a replacement. I was not being very successful with contacting Bushnell on my own, but Mark gave me a couple of additional numbers to try and then he called them and explained why my request for a replacement rangefinder was warranted. The company then called me back to tell me that a new device was being shipped immediately. A big THANK YOU TO Golf Mart of Seaside, CA, and especially their store manager Mark. Their service was outstanding! I was in town to play in a couple of NCGA tournaments. During my round on the first day the head flew off of my 7 iron! It is a pretty valuable club for par 3s so when my round was over I sought out someone to repair the club for me .I went to The Golf Mart in Seaside and the club repair technician was having lunch so I was initially told that they couldn't help me . I explained my situation regarding tournament play so the store manager talked to the technician and he cut his lunch hour a little short so he could fit my repair in before getting back to his scheduled work. 20 minutes later my club was repaired and I can't tell you how impressed I was with the service I received! read more

Brandon took me through a complex golf shoe fitting and I purchased a pair all black ASICS and after wearing once I had an issue with the left foot being too short causing a toe blister so I brought them back and asked for 1/2 size larger. Didn't have it in stock so tried it on six different brands and shoe styles but didn't find one that I liked as much as the Asics that I previously purchased so I asked him if he could try and find me a size 11 and he called around to othe location and was able to find one at another store and had it delivered in two days later to the store. I am extremely happy now that I have these shoes that I wanted in a size that's going to serve me for many years to come.
