Links is one of my favorite spots in Carmel, and is one of the places regularly on my list whenever I go back. Carmel-by-the-Sea isn't necessarily known for the bar scene, but Links offers an excellent option for anyone looking to extend their night and keep the fun going! They have a pretty extensive menu of food and drinks. The food is pretty standard bar fare, but with no shortage of options. The drink selection is quite varied as well, with a good selection of beers on tap. Service has always been exemplary when I've been here - the staff is friendly, fun, and have the gift of quickly remembering their return visitors, which really makes Links feel like a welcoming spot. Food and drinks come out quickly, and my beer glass was rarely empty without the staff coming up and offering another round! Links also has several large golf simulator areas, where you and your friends can practice your swing while playing a number of games against a large virtual projector screen. Add on top of all this the regular rotation of live music and karaoke, and you've got an excellent sports bar that should be on anyone's list who's looking for a fun, casual, energetic sports bar in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Thanks for all the fun times, Links!

It is located along the coast with amazing cliffs and views. All along the course you will see outers on the coast and families of deer along the course. My wife and I enjoyed the course though I really could not play but only putt , i will be back. This is must do when in Pebble Beach.

Absolutely beautiful course. Much more difficult than Pebble was! Once in a lifetime opportunity…read more Unfortunately the Marshals were rushing us the whole time. There were three of us in carts, with a walking solo that joined us. I'm not a strong golfer but everyone else in our foursome was crushing it. Despite my lack of skill? We weren't playing slow at all. After the fourth time that the marshal pressured us to hurry up we asked what the suggested rate of play was - we were told 4.5hr for 18 holes. That was EXACTLY the pace we were playing at. It was cart path only, so 4.5hr felt like we were hustling the whole time. We took over 5hr at Pebble and didn't have anyone harassing us about it. At the Turn we were getting a drink/snack/using the restroom. One person from our group was still trying to use the bathroom (one of the bathrooms was closed for cleaning at the time) and the marshal told me to drive ahead and tee off - rushing us, again - and said that he would bring our friend up to the tee in his (the marshals) cart.. he didn't do it. Our friend had to walk from the turn to 10. Would have gone a long way if the marshal had acknowledged this or apologized, but nope. So by 'once in a lifetime' I mean that I will personally never play Spyglass Hill again. I sincerely look forward to coming back to Pebble Beach and playing some of the courses around here, but for me? Spyglass wasn't it. They really made us feel like all the money we spent wasn't as important as the money that the twosome behind us spent. For people that play VERY fast and have some skill, I'm sure you might enjoy it. For people like me who are trying to enjoy themselves with their friends and family, maybe look elsewhere.
