Kyle was helpful getting the sleeping bag down from the display and getting in back in the bag-but do they ever go back in?? He also reached the air mattresses for us. He knew about which pump did what and how it all worked. The prices were good and value is being able to touch the bags and feel their thickness to see how comfy they will be. Also, you can't beat having knowledgeable staff. Prices were good-even compared to online where you can end up with garbage that you can't use. I sprained my knees in 2002 when I was living in Baltimore, Maryland, when I was going to school at the Maryland School For The Blind. I was making my bed, when I started to turn, then I heard this pop, and I felt this pain! The nurses there told me that I actually dislocated my knee caps, so now I have to have knee braces when I walk and work out on the row machine, otherwise my knees lock up and it causes excruciating pain! The last pair of knee braces I bought in 2023 with my provider, Kendra, only lasted until this year, when the Velcro came loose and I was struggling to make them stay on my knees. Those ones were $20 a piece. This year, I bought a stronger pair of knee braces, which I really love, as they actually stabilize my knees when I walk, and I'll probably have a more comfortable experience with my workouts on the row machine. The cool thing about these new knee braces is that they have metal on either side, instead of plastic, and they're a thicker version of Neoprene. Better yet, they actually don't trap sweat like the other knee braces did! Although I will say that they're tough to slide off after wearing them for a few hours! Compared to my old pair, these ones were $55 a piece! Strangely enough, both pairs were made by the same company, Mueller Sports Medicine! The woman there unfortunately threw an L-Bomb at me and my provider (she called us "Ladies", which I hate with a passion!). I told her, "Actually, ma'am, we're girls!". Then she said it a second time, this time in a more taunting tone! That evening, I had to report her to her manager, and he called me the next day, and he said he talked with her about it, and he promises it won't happen again! He explained to me that she was new at her job, and she hadn't learned that customers need to be treated fairly, not humiliated and insulted! I give Big 5 a solid 5 stars! How about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars! When it comes to finding knee braces and other sports equipment, you guys are the best!
