Matt, the manager provided me exceptional service, I've NEVER had someone go out of their way to assist me in bringing home a purchase. I wish he would've accepted a tip, but he was such a genuinely nice man that he did this for me on his watch. Ladies and gentlemen, customer service has not died!! And thanks to all the staff for their assistance as well!!

Decent prices, large variety, but the staff can be overly helpful. It can come off as a form of profiling.

I got good customer service. But I identified myself as a military veteran and they didn't offer me the 10 percent discount.

I only go for ammo. Hit or miss to have it in stock but that's everywhere right now. I'll be back to shop around for ammo.

I stopped by Red Rock Running Company after a recommendation from my hiking group, and I'm so glad…read moreI did! I'd been hiking in basic walking shoes, but the team here took my gear to the next level. The training manager (I believe her name was Violet, she was incredible!) spent so much time helping both my husband and me. She measured our feet, analyzed our gait, and helped us navigate our foot shapes and issues with various shoes and inserts. The biggest 'aha!' moment was when she showed me a specific way to tie my laces for my high arches. I never knew that was the trick to stop the tops of my feet from hurting! We both walked out with perfect hiking shoes and some other great gear. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned pro, I can't recommend this place enough. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares about getting you the right fit~

If I could give separate reviews for the floor associate and the manager/store policy, I would. I…read morewant to start by saying the floor/sales reps have been very helpful all 3 times but as a locally owned and operated company, we left very dissapointed last night. I have been to this Centennial Red Rock location 3 times. My first visit, before a Disney World trip, I stopped here on the fly in need of quality walking shoes. After what seemed like a proper educational fitting, I left with a pair of purchased Hokas and a pair of Brooks on my wish list. I was so excited, I brought my husband back later that same day and got him fitted as well. The Hokas didnt turn out to be right for our feet, my husband ended up selling his online to a local casino worker in need. We appreciated the service and with our son starting track work outs today, we went in last night before closing to get him fitted and make a purchase. The lady that helped him was great. After testing out several pairs and the Curex insoles (they always push these), his favorite pair ended up being the Brooks Glycerin GTS 22 that my husband found from their "final sale" or last call racks. There were several of these on the racks. I even found myself a pair Brooks for the gym. We spent the whole time sharing how we love Brooks now and I wear them working on my feet all day (local educator) and my husband shared how he has several pairs now too. We are literally the poster children for the whole family being regulars here and earning more business. Once we were done, we were ready to make a purchase of 2 pairs of Brooks and Curex insoles. Then the Red flags started. 1. There arent any price tags posted so every time you ask about a price they have to ring up the shoes so it feels a bit car sales like. 2. When she rang up the pair my son liked (from the final sales rack) something triggered her to go talk to the manager. She came back to tell us that they arent on sale or from the last call rack. My husband walked over and showed her there were more. That turned into well they were probably left there from Saturday's small business sale. We told her that that seems a bit unfair. Youre talking about a $300+ sale or more *again* (plus future purchases) on an empty store night. I asked if they would honor their military/veterans discount at least since they aren't on sale and asked when they would be on sale. She said their military discount would just take off the tax and after talking to the manager again she said they probably wouldnt go on sale till February (its December 1st and Cyber Monday). We felt like they purposely and/or falsely advertised/placed several pair of shoes in a location that implied a "discounted" cost and we were already told they would be marked down just to be told they made a mistake. Im buying 2 pair of shoes and inserts and I felt like they were okay losing a sale. To be clear these shoes were $165 by themselves. What was most dissaponting is that the manager didnt acknowledge us at all. He made the lady that helped us be the messenger and we were in ear distance the whole time. There was no "let me see what I can do", apology, nothing. Any other store with a decent manager would've found a way to keep our business because we still would've walked out of there spending over $300. Wts, we left. I found my Brooks on Amazon prime for about $10 cheaper and the Curex insoles for $15 cheaper. I joined the Military hero affiliate program with Brooks directly and got 25% off directly from Brooks. Every other Military affiliate of Brooks I looked up offered the same 25% off. I really prefer to support local and small businesses even knowing I may be spending a little more sometimes. But I am not willing to support feeling bamboozled, companies not honoring their word, cocky managers that can't even come talk to us directly in an empty store, or offer something to say hey you know what I apprecaite you coming in so since WE made a mistake I'll honor Saturday's price for you because we value you as a customer and want to keep your business. Bummer.

A quick google search brought up Bonds in a newspaper interview of Lynn the proprietor, I admired this grandmothers tenacity in keeping her business alive thru Covid and hard economic times so after calling to confirm she was indeed still in business(operating out of her home now) we took a short drive over. As one reviewer said, there is definitely a hint of hoarder in her house but it felt more like something out of Hogwarts to me which was fun. Lynn is the matriarch in her home of multi generations and the floor and walls are piled high from floor to ceiling with every type of cutlery known from kitchen to camping to tactical... how she remembers what she has and where it is stored is a marvel in itself. After inspecting a range of cleavers we fell in love with a 7" Shun DM712 chefs knife from Japan, and to my surprise Lynns price was very competitive with the best online pricing. Its certainly was an experience and I plan to shop with her again for a good set of steak knives. As a former boutique wineshop owner from NY...support and buy local!!!
