Technician was friendly. $135 for a 5-minute appt to confirm what I had told them on the phone (broken speed sensor). Said they would call to schedule after getting the part. No calls no follow-ups. I texted twice and each time was told they would check on the part. No calls no follow-ups. Very unprofessional. Elaine waa person I was texting - very unfriendly and dismissive. Got the part myself on eBay and fixed it myself. Waste of $135. read more

From my initial call to service our five year old treadmill, to replacement of worn parts this company is stellar and professional. On time, effective text communications and knowledgeable. They responded quickly to our issue, discussed various items that required repair and also things to consider for the future. They took care of ordering the "right parts", because while they offered to me the items to find prices perhaps a bit less, I worried it would set me back if they came out and I have the wrong item, or was sent the wrong item, because we all know how things go these days. How do I know if the treadmill belt is the right belt? Appreciated their offer for that though. They ordered exactly the right parts, came out installed them and even came by a week or so later after I phoned about an alignment issue that seemed to be occurring. This is why small biz companies, do so well. Local, responsible, caring and nice. Prices were very reasonable and will not hesitate to use again. read more

Very professional and detailed. Did a great job investigating then explaining the problem.

Fast and amazing communication! I wish more businesses had a text feature, this saved so much time and energy. My Assault Runner was off balance and making some cluncking noises and Mario came out and fixed it in less than an hour. I appreciate his knowledge and explaining what was done to the treadmill. Overall, this was a very smooth and pleasant company to work with! Highly recommend! read more

The techs were able to diagnose the problem and also help me with getting the new parts needed under warranty. I would highly recommend using Fitness Machine Technicians for your fitness equipment needs. They really value the customer! read more

Mario was prompt, professional, and respectful during his visit to our home. While our equipment manufacturer (NordicTrack) subcontracted with Fitness Machine Technicians to perform warranty repair on our machine, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out directly for our future service needs. read more

I was very impressed with their work and professionalism this past month in repairing my treadmill. Our motor died and we required a new one from the manufacturer. They handled all the details and made the process ridiculously easy for us. The motor was replaced yesterday, today I used the treadmill and it worked perfect. Thank you!!! read more

Called these guys to troubleshoot my treadmill. They charged $100 for a service call. It was well worth it because they not only diagnosed the problem but also told me there was still a warranty available that I had no idea about. They also took pictures and wrote an explanation to give to the warranty company. The warranty company sent us a brand new display that cost a little under $600 for free. Service like this doesn't happen too often. I definitely recommend FMT for your fitness equipment repairs. read more

Alex, a.k.a. Alejandro is a professional and very knowledgeable technician. Not only was he prompt, but he was also very courteous and explained the issue clearly in layman terms so I was aware of what was wrong with our peloton bike. I am happy to say Alex was able to fix the problem we had, and we are enjoying our bike again! read more

Alex helped fix an issue I was having with my treadmill. He was very knowledgeable and customer centric. He educated me on the next steps should I have any more issues. Alex was very prompt, focused, and professional. I also like how he was focused on fixing the issue vs. trying to upsell me on a parts replacement. He readjusted the belt and felt a motor replacement wasn't needed at this time. This is a very ethical and non-greedy business. I will definitely call them again if I need a consult or repair. read more

Just had superstar technician Alex out to troubleshoot a new treadmill we just had assembled. Top flight experience on every level. Absolutely the best fitness servicing appointment I have ever had. And I've owned workout equipment for over 20yrs. Alex is a stone cold superstar. In this digital age, outstanding, very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and passionate service is truly a lost art form. Alex has reversed that disconnected, impersonal trend our world has sadly been spinning its wheels in. From first contact to killer execution, he crushed it with nothing short of outstanding engagement. This cat sets a phenomenal standard of how a service representative should operate. It's clear he loves his job, cares deeply about making your experience beyond satisfying and shares good vibes every step of the way. FMT is fortunate to have Alex wearing one of its team's jerseys. Along w/ our treadmill, we own a Precor AMT elliptical and Hydrow rower. Without hesitation, Alex and FMT will be my goto crew whenever we need fitness service/maintenance-- and will refer anyone I know. Big thank you FMT and monumental appreciation, Alex! read more

Alex was great! I have a recumbent bike and an elliptical that stopped working Alex came over and determined that both alternators were not working He quickly ordered them and stated as soon as they came in, he would return to install them He was quick, efficient, on time for the appointment, and texted me to let me know his arrival time Thank you Fitness Machine Technicians, I will be sure to recommend you to anyone I know, specifically Alex! read more

I received a Horizon T103 Treadmill from my daughter that was roughly 13 years old. Once delivered to our gym... didn't work I feared that I owned a 250 lbs. paper weight for months. I called Fitness Machine Technicians, a tech named Alex came out and immediately knew the problem. Fast forward to 3 weeks later Alex came out with the part and installed - Done! It works perfectly, it's quiet, and clean. Alex was highly knowledgeable, fast and competent. Overall highly professional. Cost wasn't bad either... and FAR better than paying $3k for a new one. Thank you! read more

BIG shout out to Alex! Alex was our technician who fixed our treadmill. There are two parts to the story. On the first visit, he was able to diagnosis the problem. He is so knowledgeable and really knows the equipment. He is skilled and methodical. He was very familiar with the warranty and was able to order the correct parts. The second part was installing the new parts which again, was done efficiently and methodically. my treadmill looks and feels brand new! This company is very fortunate to have Alex as their technician and we were fortunate to get him to service our machine. BIG THANK YOU! SZ- Las Vegas read more

When I realized that my new treadmill would take 4 hours to assemble, I decided to search for a professional. If you're in the same situation, look no further because this company definitely knows what they're doing. When my husband called and mentioned the make/model of our new treadmill and rower, they were familiar with it & knew how long it would take to assemble it. They gave him a quote over the phone. Their prices are not bad at all - they're affordable. My rower arrived before our appointment and we called to see if they could come sooner. When they couldn't make it, my husband decided to do it and they kindly provided him with some tips on the assembly process. How awesome is that? On the day of our appointment, they were prompt and professional. They completed the job in half the amount of time (2 instead of 4 hrs). They also told us how to maintain our equipment and suggested we put a mat below our equipment to protect our flooring. I love businesses that are customer-centric! Other than basic services, they can also schedule on-going preventive maintenance and repairs for a variety of equipment (including Pilates reformers). Overall, I was impressed with their EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I would definitely use their services again! read more

I received an Outstanding service on my Pro Form 9000 and walked away with more knowledge about my machine. The Technician was very knowledgeable and explained every detail to me. I had a very nice treadmill that I was looking to give to someone who would put it to good use by perhaps donating it to a charity or some worthy organization. I thought a business that worked on treadmills would be a logical candidate. I contacted Dave Phelps at Fitness Machine Technicians and provided him with photos of my Precor treadmill. We made an appointment for Dave to pick up the treadmill which required disassembly to get it out of the room it was in. He and his son showed up on time, we're very careful in both disassembly and removal. He indicated he had two possible charitable organizations that would be interested recipients of the machine and I am thrilled with that. Thanks Dave for helping me out and providing a nice piece of equipment to a worthy organization. read more

FMT is the best and is 100% honest, i was initially quoted $600 to replace and install a part for a commercial grade Matrix A50 ascent elliptical machine due to a malfunctioning incline function, i was initially quoted $600 to replace and install a board but they found out that a simple software update would fix the problem, FMT only charged me for the software update a huge difference in price, i wouldn't have known and FMT could have said they replaced the board in addition to the software update and charged me more. This was a nice Christmas present for me and my family, specially with the pandemic it is great to have working machine that is safe to use to at least try and stay in shape. Do not be afraid to give them a try. Thank you Dave and Crew, you guys are the best. read more

Very professional. Arrived on time. They were patient with my dogs who wanted belly rub. Price is reasonable. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Called FMT to have the belt of my treadmill replaced and they gave a reasonable quote for labor and parts of $239. Three men arrived for the appointment today 30 minutes early which was great. My treadmill was in working order and I know this because I have been using it. But during the appointment they called me over to tell me that the motor was broken and fried and it would cost another $150 to fix. So I am shocked because I only wanted the belt replaced now the appointment was going to cost almost $400. I questioned what they did for that to happen but they did not take liability and said "it just happens." So I still don't understand because I was better off not having them touch it at all! Dave then questioned whether it was working in the first place. I conquer that makes no sense for me to have them come replace a belt of a broken treadmill and that they even turned it on before I left them to do their work. I got upset because I don't understand but Dave starts yelling and cussing at me in my own home that he is an honest business man for 40 years and was going to leave without putting the treadmill back to how they started with it. One of the technicians calmed him down and they continued to put my old belt back on my treadmill. At the very least, since it looks bad that the treadmill broke while they took it apart, he should've offered consideration on the labor to fix it. I didn't expect them to fix for free. But now I'm left with a broken treadmill because of them. Clearly I do not recommend this company and I am still appalled at how Dave yelled and cussed at me. Thank you for reading this. read more

Fitness Machine Technicians - Fitness/Exercise Equipment Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

See all

I own two treadmills, both of them having issues that were keeping them from running properly. Alex dropped by and was able to quickly diagnose the issue with each one. Both ended up being structural failures of the frame that were causing the problem and one will be getting resolved by the 10-year frame warranty that is offered by the manurfacturer. Very cordial and professional work by Alex and I would definitely call them back and recommend them to others that are having issues with their fitness equipment. read more

I am so thankful I found Fitness Machine Technicians! I just had my ProForm Hybrid Trainer serviced by them today (the resistance stopped working). They were very friendly, professional, and thoroughly explained what was going on with my equipment. They were also much more reasonably priced than going directly through ProForm to have my equipment serviced, and they were able to come out within a week of me requesting a technician. I will absolutely be calling them again should I need additional servicing. Dave and his Team are fantastic; I would highly recommend this company! read more

I live here in Las Vegas, NV and I bought a treadmill and when it was shipped to me I was really excited to get it. When I turned on the machine the belt started moving to the right and I turned it off. Long story short I found Fitness Machine Technicians and I called and spoke to the owner David V. Phelps who was a real nice guy over the phone. David and another young man name Dan were at my home within 45 minutes and they were able to fix my belt in no time at all. I must say the price was right and I highly recommend them and I know who to call if I ever have a problem with my treadmill. If I could give them a 10 I would. Thank you guys! David J. read more
