****This review is specifically for the DONWSTAIRS Shoe Palace 9992 at the Meadows mall.**** After my daughter and I had been shopping, I felt guilty and decided to get the boys some items as well. I walked in to Shoe Palace and was greeted immediately by a gentleman named Zyaire. Not only did he make himself available for anything that I needed he also assisted me in finding on sale items for my son. When I went to check out, Kennedy was excellent because I noticed that the sale prices were even lower than I thought in advance. I did ask if there were more double sale items and she assisted me in finding the perfect selections for my son. They did not have sizing for my husband. Thank you both Zyaire and Kennefy for an awesome experience and saving me some money at the same time. I seen 3 visible employees more concerned about straightening up the store to hurry and leave. If you go shop at shoe palace, located inside Meadows mall downstairs, look for the store manager D Sion. He knows his sneakers and when certain ones will drop. I bought Jordan 5's a month ago and we ended up having a lengthy conversation about upcoming and past Jordan releases from years ago. I don't consider my self a shoe head, who waits in long lines for the releases of new shoes or spends racks on racks for shoes. But I do like to splurge on shoes every once in a while, especially if the is on sale! Lol. I was shopping g with a gf who recommended a pair of ultra boosts. Yes, I know these shoes have been around for a while, but I can never get myself to spend $180 on one pair of shoes. So when we walked in and saw that these shoes were in sale for $99 I thought, dang this is my time to purchase a pair of ultra boosts. The workers are are not approachable, especially when their I. There little circle of co-worker friends. It's almost like they are annoyed you just broke up their conversation, like ummm hi - aren't you working? Supposed to be provider customer service? Anyway I had asked for size 7 and when they didn't have it I had asked if they can look up nearby stores to see if they had it in stock since they were cute and on sale, I really wanted them. Horrible customer service! Didn't get greeted and not only that I was considering on buying multiple pairs of shoes but never got acknowledged. Sales are great but can't buy anything when none of the worker's acknowledge you. Walked around the whole store and not once did I even get asked if I need help with anything. I have purchased from this store and location twice and have been happy with both transactions and product. I shop here for my hubby's DC brand shoes as they have the best selection always along with good prices. I pick out the style of the shoe I want and I ask for my husbands size and I am on my way. This last visit was cool because the Supervisor Eugene was on duty and he was a sweetheart and shook my hand thanking me for my business. Their service is always on it, the same male employee (salesperson #28045) helped me on both of my visits 6 months apart. This fellow is not pushy yet he works his rump off in helping you find what you are looking for. I wish I could remember his name because he is Awesome and truly likes his job and it shows when he is assisting you. I have never had an issue here, I go in pick out a pair of shoes and they bring me the size I requested. I only tip is to make sure you try on what you buy or make sure like I do if you are buying for someone else that you are certain of the size. Their receipt clearly states the following: No refund...No refund...No refund Exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase if unworn with original box. Tags and receipt. read more

I went into the meadows mall on Dec 24th, 2023 looking for Nike socks. I went to finish line found the socks but they where so busy with a long line to check out, I saw a shoe palace across from finish line so I said it's so busy here I will try shoe palace for the Nike socks. I walked into shoe palace they had the socks in a pack of 3 for 14.00 so I got two packs together would be 28.00 but they where 24.00 at finish line for a package of six so I was going to pay the four dollars extra, but when I walked up to pay the gentleman at the counter he told me the socks would be $17 a pack he said I know the package has a price of $14 but they are $17. I then told him no I didn't want them I could get the socks cheaper at finish line. So shoe palace wanted me to pay $34 for 6 pairs of socks and finish line had the same socks 6 pairs for $24. I have never went into a store and the cashier ask for more than was listed on the merchandise. This is pretty bad shoe palace I don't know if your worker was trying to rip people off but this was bad customer service most places honor the price on the item not telling customers the item cost more than what's on the item. Now I see why finish line had a line out the door and shoe palace was basically empty. I did go back to finish line and bought the socks yes I waited in the long line saved $10 and didn't feel like I was being ripped off. Shoe Palace you need to investigate because you will lose a lot of business if this is happening at your store this was the shoe palace on the first floor in the meadows mall. read more

I am giving this store a 5 rating because Mia the store Manager was fabulous. I haven't been to this store in awhile because of the service I received in the past but today she changed that. After dealing with the Cashier Kimberly attitude which wasn't very pleasant or welcoming. I asked her for a size and she told me she didn't have. I then purchased the shoes in the smaller size but afterwards went back to notice that the size I wanted was on the shelf. Store Manager MIA took care of it and resolved the issue fast and friendly. If you want to keep loyal customers coming you may want to reevaluate the people like Kimberly at the register. read more

Let's start by saying that buying shoes from shoe palace IS a mistake. Last week, I bought a pair of Air Max 720. I decided that they were not for me, so I was going to return them this weekend. The receipt clearly states that RETURNS need to be made before 15 days from purchase and exchanges 30 days. So, the cashier checks the shoes and then goes to talk to the "manager". When the manager gets there he states that the shoes have been worn and for that reason he will EXCHANGE, but not return. First of all, the shoes were not worn other than my bedroom. This is not my first pair of shoes. I know you can't return worn shoes. I told the manager that , yet he rudely is refused to give me my money because according to him the shoes had a little dirt on the top of the shoe. My husband and I were not sure what he was talking about because the shoes are black ,so how can you say there is dirt on them. My husband asked them to bring a new pair of shoes and literally looked the same. The manager still refused to give me the money back, but will take exchange.. all though according to him the shoes have been worn but exchanges are ok. This is the most contradicting statement I ever heard. I am extremely shocked by the lack of customer service from the so call manager. My husband decided to go into the other shoe Palace in mall. He talked to the manager and she stated the shoes were new and that she has taken worse looking shoes before. However, she was could not return them because that shoe was not in her inventory. On our way back to the car my husband decided he was going to talk to the manager again. My husband works for retail, so he knows very well how it all works. My husband talked to him and tried giving him some feedback, but the manager seemed egotistic, uneducated and uncaring in regards to customer service. When my husband and I get to the car. He tells me that the manager told him the reason why he didn't return the shoes for me was because I was yelling at him. Yes, you did read that right- the reason why he didn't return the shoes for me was because I was yelling at him. My husband goes you weren't yelling though. You were firm and frustrated. Are you kidding me? The "manager" who is just an employee who is supposed to be giving good customer service because you want life long customers especially in the type of retail environment we have today. Brick and mortar are slowly disappearing because of scenarios like this. This shopping experience is by far the worse I ever had. On the way home, I decided I was going to reach out to the district manager , so I called the shoe palace in the north outlets. I spoke to the manager and told him I needed the district manager phone number and I explained to him what was going on. He did state that shoes can't be worn and I told him they were not worn and that the manager refused to return them,but would exchange them. As soon as I said that he was like uhm no it's company policy that you can return them within 15 days.. he goes don't worry I got you. Come in and I will take care of it. So we drove all over the city once again, so we could return the shoes that I didn't like and I tried to return at the original store, but the "manager" thinks he is the owner, so he makes his own return and exchange policies. I am extremely disappointed because my husband and I are really big on sneakers. We buy sneakers A LOT and we were excited to start shopping at shoe palace because of the large selection of shoes. Too bad, the customer service is not as good as the selection of shoes. That being said, this was my first and last shopping experience at shoe palace. read more

Staff and management here are GARBAGE! Just now I left a show place inside the meadows mall in Las Vegas. The manager(Phil or Phillip) and cashier (Ariel) provides Terrible service. I came in with an exchange, manager was counting cash as I waited, no acknowledgment "hey we'll be right with you" or anything. Cashier was snobby and impolite. Once cashier acknowledged me manager was still counting cash. I advised cashier I was exchanging a put a shoes, I had a pair is shoes and a hat ready to be purchased but another employee helping us was getting a second pair of shoes for us. With out missing a beat the manager exclaimed... "WHAT ELSE?" .... I asked him to repeat him self ... as he was still counting g cash and thought he was not talking to me. .... he repeated " I SAID WHAT ELSE , you have to exchange for the full amount " ... how stupid does your manager think your customers are ??? There is clearly a place by cashier that explains its EXCHANGES ONLY. Which I was fully aware of by the time It was my turn in line. Apart from the disgusting example of professionalism your so called manager provided. Your cashier started my transaction which I also explained I had a second pair of shoes coming, she canceled my transaction and told me she's gonna hell another customer while my second paired arrived, which I had. I problem. Once she helped the next costumer behind us, our shoes arrived. Once she was done with that transaction I was under the impression I was next, she ignored me and continued to help another costumer. I repeated what she said... " I'm gonna help the NEXT costumer while we wait for the second pair" which she answered in a very angry voice .... "no I'm taking you after everyone else, it's like you went to the back of the line " absolutely no class, and no respect to they clientele. Apart from this, Phil the Manager was super disrespectful when I asked for corporates number. Will never be shopping here, and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Went into the store to check out shoes. I wasn't greeted nor was I ever acknowledged in the store I had a few shoes I wanted to try on and no one came to help me. I looked over to the cash wrap to see 4 of the 5 employees laughing and chatting with each other. I see 1 associate helping a customer and I see a family with 5 kids looking for help. I used to be a retail manager and having associates linger around the cash wrap talking and not helping customers are a managers BIGGEST PET PEEVE. So I marched my ass out of that lame excuse of a store and went to Journey's. They may have less selection to chose from, but they have SUPERIOR customer service. Shoe Palace is a joke. read more

Purchased a pair of shoes and next day decided I didn't like them. Were unworn and in box with receipt. Phil was the one who did my return. After finalizing the return he doesn't give me a return receipt to I have to ask for one. After I walk out I decided to look at my online transactions because something just didn't seem right and sure enough I see a charge for the item I just returned. I call my bank to verify and sure enough it was another charge. So now I have two charges and no refund for an item I returned. I walked back in and explain that he processed it as a purchase and not a return and he claims it's alright and that charge will fall off and all will be ok. Even if that is the case, if that charge does fall off what about the other charge from the original purchase? He's like it will be fine. When I asked for a manager he said he was one which I highly doubt. Fast forward 5 hours later and I get a call say saying they made a mistake and need me to come back in to fix it. Which I say I can't because it's too far for me to come back. I ask for them to do the refund over the phone which they claim they can't which is bs. Spoke with another manager named Britney, which again I don't think any of these people are managers because of the way they talk to their customers. She gives me the name of her supervisor, Derek, which I don't even care to reach out to. I've already disputed this with my bank and will get it resolved. Very impressed with the staff this place hires. They've got some really intelligent people working here. *sarcasm* for those that need explaining.
