I will never recommend this place for vanything. Manicure was so terrible that my fingers are all sore. I said not very short. All she could understand was very short. My cuticles are cut and then they over charged me. The guy ( presumably manager) told me prices went up. No tax as I paid cash so I know it went in his pocket. Horrible experience. read more

My comments have nothing to do with the services I received at the Sun City shop, rather their manner of doing business. This was the second time I felt I was overcharged. There is a flyer on the desk that shows one price for a fill and then they charge and higher one at checkout. The flyer does say that anything other than square shape is a higher price but all I asked was that she knock the sharp, dangerous corners off. I am pretty sure I was charged for round shapes. Another lady checking out at the same time also complained that she was being overcharged $10. The point is, we don't know how they come up with the final price and it's futile to stand there and argue; our only recourse is to change salons. Too bad. Further, the flyer includes a statement "Strict Sanitation Practiced". The sanitation practices spelled out are NOT followed. They do not dispose of files and buffers after each client's use and I doubt all implements are sanitized - only the nail brushes which the clients themselves use. SOMEONE needs to update the flyer if the prices have changed! And make sure that the shops do what the flyer says they do, or remove that promise and let us take our chances. read more

Today was my second time going to Bien Nails with my best friend. She is usually given a great experience, a thorough work over of her feet and calves and always has a wonderful color and sealer. I however, have sat in the chair next to her twice and watched as she was being treated substantially better than me. Today, I'm not sure if my tech was high, half asleep, or if she was even really a tech. The paint has already flecked off and it's been 2 hours. ZERO stars - do not recommend. Maybe it's because she's a female and I'm a male. Either way, this is the second time it was obviously noticeable and the nails look like crap. read more

I have mixed feelings about this shop. The shop and service were worthy of 5 stars. However the staff out numbered the clients 4 to one. I am sure it was nice to have so many Asian friends gathered for a leisurely social time. However the noice of loud chatter and laughter was at times deafening. It was certainly not the pleasurable spa experience I expected. I left with lovely nails and a headache. Undecided if I will return to give this shop a second chance. read more

Absolutely the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I paid $92 for a manicure and pedicure. Walked out two hours later with two cut fingers and one cut toe. The work itself was very sloppy and when I asked them to correct the work they couldn't see what I was talking about and gave major attitude. I stopped asking for them to fix their work in the end in fear of being cut again. Mistakes for manicuring include: getting the powder above the cuticle line and just leaving it there. Hair visible in the acrylic and not removing it/redoing it, bubbles in every single nail, a gap between my nail and the tip, plus the two finger cuts. Mistakes during pedicure: very sloppy French tip. Smeared white lines, uneven pink base, and a cut toe. They should be ashamed, but instead the owner acted like me being unsatisfied was not their problem. Terrible experience, bad staff and even worse management. Would only ever return to collect my $92 refund, but never for services. read more

BEIN NAILS SUN CITY, FRYS SHOPPING CENTER. One and done! Told them I had an appointment for 9am, Kim took me back, and in the middle of the pedicure, my phone rings and I told Kim Bein nails is calling me. I became the focus of another girl saying, " I have been waiting here this whole time for you." I looked at Kim and felt the tension fill the air with what sounded like bickering in their language. I had no idea what was going on because I never knew the name of a person I had an appointment with. Now, paying for the services, I told Kim I would like to add a tip on my payment. She was not happy I didn't have a tip in cash. I was a little taken back, as a tip is not a requirement and should be happily accepted in any form of payment. I had this pedicure done as I was going on a 7 day cruise. The pedicure turned out to be a nightmare, 10 days later, I am still trying to get the heels of my feet to heal. When I left the shop, my heels felt like they were burning. On the cruise, they started bleeding and formed thick cracks on each foot. Walking was miserable, I am still suffering, I would gladly take my payment back in any form, with the exception of a credit to go back!!!! Pictures are of the 10th day. I keep uploading the photos. I tried not to write a review about this place because they were inexpensive and you get what you pay for but the last two times and especially this time that I went were terrible. The guy I had yesterday was beyond lacking in social and nail skills. He tried to communicate with me but he was abrupt, loud and hard to understand. If I didn't understand him he would just get louder and pretty much be yelling at me the same thing over and over again. When it came to my pedicure, my feet are paying for it today. He cut my nails down but he didn't file them or clean out from underneath the nails. He used a an electric grinder to take the top layer of my nails off ( not sure why, I wasn't getting gel or acrylics). He didn't know how to use the machine because he would run it up on my skin, on every toe! Ouch! Then he went for the cuticles, his clippers or scissors, I don't know what to call them, were dull because he would just yank on my cuticles to "cut" them down. The second foot I had to remind him to push them away from the nail. ‍ Let's move on to the callouses on my feet, which I paid extra to get rid of, he yelled at me for showing him where they were and then still didn't get them. Today my toes hurt and my feet don't feel any different as far as being soft. Needless to say, I will never go back to this place even if they are convenient. read more

This was the worst experience for a mani/pedi I've ever had. My pedi took 2 hours and mani took over an hour and my polish is horrible even when I asked her multiple times to fix it. It was an older lady that I'm pretty sure is blind in one eye. My gel manicure chipped after one day and in the pictures I've attached you can see the lumpy polish also brush lines in the top coat. I will never return, if my husband wouldn't have prepaid, I would have walked out. read more

My friend was in town (male) and wanted to get a pedicure as he had never had one. Since I'm from out of town I didn't know of a place to go so I did a little research. Pictures online were promising and I called and the lady said walk ins are welcomed. We pulled up to the place and the sign said "gentleman a women welcomed" well hey that's a start! We walked in got greeted right away. Told her we're we're looking for pedicure and she sat us right away. My male friend sat down I was told to pick a nail polish they had atleast 200 bottles to chose from. First thing i noticed was this place was clean, staff friendly and out of 6 nail stations 4 were busy and out of 6 pedicure stations 3 were full and they were able to sit us right away. It's a good sign to me when people are there that means they are good and or have regular customers which is another good thing We sat down and chose the $45 combo. The cheapest I believe started at $30 and then in $5 increments they went up in price with one additional thing added. We got our feet scrubbed, massaged, Hot stone rubbed, and all that jazz. My male friend got a clear top coat on his toes for fun I got them painted a pink/red the lady offered to do a picture on them, not quite sure if this costs extra (it didn't) but I said sure. I wish I knew my ladies name because she did awesome, attention to detail my toes have never had so much action My big toes got flowers painted on them and they got bejeweled! They were so pretty I didn't want to have to cover them. Point being here I eventually did have to wear tennis shoes and here I am days later and they look like I got them done today. Most times after getting my toes done within a day after wearing socks and shoes they get ruined, but not here! The rhinestone that she put on them is still there! Great place I'm glad I found. Only giving 2 stars because my grandma had a wonderful experience and her nails came out good. Mine on the other hand.... Not so good. Idk if it was just a bad day for the nail tech that was doing my pedi but I have never walked out of a nail salon with such shitty polish and the worse part is , it's gel so I can't even fix it on my own. First she filed my nails all crazy and cut them totally wrong . I prefer my nails "square" not jagged. I asked her to file my big toe nails shorter and she filed one side for a second and that was supposed to be better ?? I ended up filing them myself .... Then she started my polish , ended up getting polish all on the bottom of my foot and around my toes and didn't even bother cleaning it up . Sorry it took me forever to pick out a color I have 2 kids with me while my mom was getting her nails done. This is the second time i've been here and i won't be going back. Today my sister and i got the deluxe pedi with gel polish and extra massage time. What a joke! I didn't even know i got a massage and it definitely wasn't 10 minutes and he cut my second toe so low that all you see is cuticle. Then when i went t to check out, my bill was $60, i gave him $40 and my card to put the remaining balance of $20 on so that i'd have cash for a tip, he took my $40 and ran my card for $60. When i questioned that another lady came up to the desk trying to explain to me why my bill was $60. I told her i knew that my bill would be $60 and that it had nothing to do with that but it was about how i asked to pay my bill ! Ive been here plenty of three times so far after the new ownership. Kim is amazing everyone else has been terrible. today pushed my last chance for these guys let me tell you my story the lady sitting on the first table to the left when you enter was the rudest, impatient nail person. I got my toes and nails done with here the toe I paid for a $53 pedicur that came with a design I ask for a grove wave design, she made them look like zebra print no wave to it I said whatever no one will look at my feet then my hands I wants a like boxed French tip she made the nails to fat, it did not look good then I told her it looked bad to change it. I'll just do ombré faded white then she did it but with powder which came out like a line down the middle I asked if anyone else could do the design she then gave me attitude. she made my nails in even and couldn't do one but three of the different designs I asked for. I am only rating this business as 1 star because of the fraudulent charge they refused to reverse from my account. On short notice I found this place through google search. The service was good, the three of us needed full sets and pedis, we spent $300 between the three of us. We had dinner reservations at 6:45 arrived at the nail shop around 4pm done by 6:15, so I can't complain about the time, but I can complain about the fact that my card was clearly charged in error to pay for someone else's services. After contacting my bank it was suggested that I contact the merchant to resolve the matter. Fast forward I drive over to the nail-shop and calmly explain my situation to the woman who's hair was pulled back into a ponytail she was manning the closest nail station to the front desk and then there was the argumentative woman I had not seen before that was working the front desk I was bluntly told that there was no one that could resolve my issue and that she was new and no one there could return my money or reverse the fraudulent payment. So I then ask who can help me and I was told Sam but he's not here and we don't know when he would be in but I should come back when he's there.Next I asked can you call Sam? I was then told they had no phone number to contact him to inform him of the matter fast fast forward... I ended up having to resolve the matter through my bank. Although it is an inconvenience having to wait for a new debit card, after the way I was treated I would never step foot in the establishment again!!! read more

Competitive prices but average quality. Very few employees speak English so it's difficult to communicate what you want or if you don't like something. Designs is not their strong suit, stick to basic mani/pedi. Pedicures are really nice and relaxing. They were over 15 minutes late which doesn't work well for those on their lunch break. An amazing salon! I went to this salon after being treated badly at another. I received a warm welcome followed by conversation and a lot of laughter. I will admit the lady who did my pedicure cut a little close but she was so nice! I feel bad I didn't learn her name. Ellie did my fill. Oh my gosh! It was the best experience I've ever had getting my nails done! No pain, no cuts, no burns! And she didn't slap my hand because I have a hard time relaxing. Came upon this salon on a last minute rush to get eyebrows waxed and nails done. This place lost stars due to unhygienic reasons. After my technician cut my nails and cuticles, she proceeded to place the tools back in her cart. Clear indication that they do not sterilize here. She worked fast and nails turned out great. I then went on the get a facial wax and that's where things got even worse. I asked her to take a LITTLE off the brow and now I'm stuck looking like a clown with my pencil thin eyebrows. She also burned me with the hot wax. She also used one stick through out the whole waxing process, going from my face and back to the wax warmer. Needless to say I will not return nor recommend. Such a shame because the prices are decent and nails looked nice unfortunately I can't risk my chances of getting an infection from here. read more

I would like to start of by saying the lady who did my toes did an excellent job and was very sweet. On the other hand the other lady who did my nails(I believe she's the owner) did a horrible job. I was in disbelief at how uneven and bumpy my nails were. I got a set of acrylics with gel polish and when she was done I told her the nails were uneven and she looked at me stating it was because of the gel polish. I left the shop and returned 10 minutes later letting her know the job was very poor and I needed her to either fix them or refund me. She started getting very loud and saying it was the gel and there wasn't anything she could do about it, but wouldn't refund me since her "service" doesn't allow refunds and I could wait for 2 other people untill she could fix them. I have been getting my nails done for several years and I am damn sure that gel polish SHOULDN'T result in bumpy nails and this is the first time I've ever had this issue.
